Dr ehrman and the entire staff were extraordinarily thoughtful and kind in treating my 17 year old cat for a UTI. I would recommend them highly as they seemed to go above and beyond and were able to take her immediately and she was tested, given medicine and we were done within 30 minutes. I noticed that other customers had arrived and were seen very quickly as the office staff was very organized. I will definitely be returning for regular checkups for my sweet cat.

I have been taking my pets to this place for years. I can honestly say that these folks are very knowledgeable in the veterinary field as well as the most compassionate people you will ever know. If you love your pets and care about their health as much as I do, do your pet and yourself a big favor and go here. I am not trying too get them anymore business i am merely informing you that this is the best care your pet will receive. The prices are reasonable as well.

So, they don’t take appointments, but we have used Veterinary Medical Hospital on Miller rd. for years now, and love it. I can tell you, I have been to many other vets in the area, and it’s not that they weren’t good (well, most), it’s just that this place has been awesome for us. Also, weekend walk-in times are the same price as their weekday times. I’ll admit, their hours have decreased since Covid (they used to open every weeknight for an hour from 7-8, which was nice for working people), but they’re still the most fair and honest vet we’ve ever had. They still have wood paneling on the walls, and they only just upgraded to a computer system a year or two ago, lol, so they don’t care to impress on bells and whistles. But they also give the most compassionate and honest care. In my experience, and the experience of others I’ve talked to, they will never send you for a test they know is unnecessary. With having to say goodbye to two pets now, their staff was extremely kind, empathetic, and patient. They never once made me feel rushed, and gave me all the time I needed/wanted, especially with my 14-year-old Black Lab. For me, that speaks volumes. So, you may only be looking for a place with appointments and later hours, which I totally get, but if you’re ever in a bind or need a weekend appointment, this place is really great. ????

This vet made us drive our newly adopted dog on a 4 hour round trip to get a refill on a medication that they prescribed and that she is supposed to be on for life. They refused to work with our local vet, who couldn't get her in until after the med would run out. After a two hour drive to get there, they saw us for a total of 4 minutes, barely looked at the dog, and charged us for an office visit.

I went there three times this week, each visit they were shorter and shorter with me, prescribing antibiotics and fever reducers cause my dog had a fever and they just kept saying a bug was going around, they never actually took the time to really look at her and give her the testing she needed. Today I went there one more time because she was showing no improvement after the first visits, they just pushed a different antibiotic saying don’t worry she will be fine and that nothing major could go wrong by Monday. I decided to go somewhere else where they actually do bloodwork and testing while you are there, turned out her pancreas was extremely inflamed and she wouldn’t have lived to see Monday. I Would never recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately my sweet 14-year-old lab became ill while I was on vacation recently. My mother was caring for her and it was decided that she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. My mother had difficulty with getting her into her personal veterinarian due to their hours of operation and being closed so she did reach out to this animal hospital and they were able to help my mother with this decision as well as take care of it in a respectful and empathetic manner. I greatly appreciate their professionalism as well as their compassion as there were other local veterinarians that did not show such things. Thank you for your kindness and willingness to help my family dog in her time of need.

Great people!! In the past every time i ever went to take my animal to be seen anywhere else the pricing was so high!! But , here they worked with me instead of turning my animal away because i didn't have the exact amount that was required!!

I unfortunately had to put my cat to sleep. All the office staff were very nice, that does not make up for what I ended up receiving. I chose private cremation. I wish they would have stated they do it in house, I may not have made a different decision, but would have been better prepared for the unprofessional remains I got back. My beloved cat of 18 yes came back to me as BLACK Large grit with large bone pieces in a sandwich bag in a container that looked like a reusable to go sandwich container. Utterly unscatterable, not dignified in presentation. No identifier anywhere, I cannot even be sure it is her. Please if you are going to offer this as a service, invest in better equipment as the easy should be fine and cream colored, and work on the presentation. This is not acceptable or the dignified state I hoped for my loved cat. Very disappointing and traumatic.

We took our cat here for a check up and because she had some diarrhea recently. The staff was all very friendly. We were seen by Dr. Ehrman and he was very nice at first. He handled our cat well and was very knowledgeable. A problem arose when he wanted to put our cat on some meds and we decided that we didnt want to do that yet, because he told us the diarrhea didnt sound like a serious issue. He seemed very annoyed and said "well then why are we even here?" In an aggressive manner and acted like we were wasting his time. We told the lady at the front desk that we wanted a check up and to get some knowledge on the diarrhea. We are not animal biology/medicine experts and the internet will only tell you so much so we wanted an expert opinion. We didnt want to give our cat meds if some random diarrhea is not a cause for alarm, which he confirmed it was not. I think he could tell he made us uncomfortable because he was much nicer for the rest of the check up. All in all we did get proper medical service for our cat but I would not return here when there are other veterinarians around who will be more respectful to their clients.

I love the amazing and caring staff. They always take the time to answer questions and offer solutions. Very reasonable pricing as well.

It was scary but the veteranary doctor was nice and said I was not the one taking the shot the puppy was I hid but he was nice and I would have people go there the older doctor was really nice and said I was not to be scarried that is all I have to say

No appointment necessary but they give all the services any regular veterinary clinic does. Empathetic and gentle staff, great location and pricing is reasonable. I love the old building, too.

Expensive, and Dr. Dagner's going on about how raw feeding is bad. He did a good job with my dog, I just don't like his opinions on RAW FEEDING. My regular vet says it's absolutely okay. Most likely will not be going here ever again unless absolutely necessary. Not only does Flint's water suck, so does literally everything else located within it.

Have been here many times and both vets are competent and friendly as are the rest of the staff. Reasonable cost. The only downside is they don't take appointments so there may be a bit of a wait.
