Loved my experience with Dr Mike. Very nice, professional. Everyone there was great and took care of my Luna like a princess. Would recommend this service to all my friends and family. Not to mention the rates were great!

Never go here. Terrible service. Uncaring so called veterinarians. These people only want the check that comes with your pet. They don't care about taking care of your animal. Money talks. But I'm happy customers talk louder. Zero relationship skills regarding animals. ZERO. They aren't going to try and make you feel welcomed. They aren't going to try and welcome your dog or cat or ferret or whatever you have. Please never go here. These people are the reaper reincarnated in a vet clinic.

Horrible experience and horrible crotchety old vet! He didn't explain anything to me or pet Gem. He just came at her then said she tried to bite him. Not true! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

Dr Mike and his staff are awesome. Took very good care of my fur baby before, during and after surgery. ❤️❤️ Took snowman in for a check-up, love Dr Me me and his staff. They are so nice in there. Dr Mike is very honest and tells you the truth. No sugar coating. I like that. Thanks to everyone for making ng us feel so welcome. ❤️❤️

Loved Dr. Mike and his staff! First met him when we were new to the area and needed to get our senior dogs examined. He did his initial visit at our home and was kind and compassionate. When we had to take our Rotty in for an x-ray and were expecting to just get steroid shots for arthritis, he found her hip had been destroyed by bone cancer. His compassion for us and her was something i have never experienced with a vet in 27 years of having vet care. Pricing is most affordable and the house call option was a life saver! I feel comfortable asking questions and for the first time ever did not have pricey animal food shoved at me at every turn!!

Took our newly rescued Persian and our Pittie there for a check-up on the Persian and a sick visit for our canine. The 1st visit was good and the receptionist that scheduled us was so professional and friendly (Autumn). After my husband got home with them I asked if they checked our feline for worms. He wasn't sure so I called and spoke to Autumn and she said she didn't know we wanted them to do that but we would have to bring in a stool sample. I'm my many years working with animals and with vets, part of an exam is checking for worms and If the patients owners don't bring one in the office can do a stool sample with a tool they put up the felines rectum. So I mentioned that to Autumn and she said we don't do that but if you want you can bring a stool sample up here and we can check her. (This is when the rest of our experience went bad). I advised we may so that and then she went over the date and time of their follow up visits. Autumn said she would put in that we wanted feline checked for worms. Well my husband took them up there today and when he got home he was telling me what was said and his phone rang. He answered and it was this office. The girl on the other end was rude from the time he picked up the phone til the time I got off the phone with her. He handed me the phone and I asked what was going on and she said rudely "your husband left without paying for the visit", I said l, "this is a follow-up which should be included in cost of initial charge why is there a charge for a follow-up?" Continuing to be rude she said, "there's a charge for time with the doctor" I said no other vets charge for a follow-up as it's included in the initial visit (mind u our 1st bill was over 190.00. The girl still being rude I asked what was said at the appointment, she starts telling me using medical terms. I had to ask her to explain what she just said as I Don't know medical terms. I asked what the charge is for today's visit she said 106.50. that totally set us back, told her we would have to pay tomorrow as we don't have that until tomorrow. She rudely said "you need to call me 1st thing in the morning". I then asked if she had worms and she said nothing was said about needing to be checked for worms that she was being seen for glaucoma. Once again, made no sense as Autumn supposedly put in notes that we wanted her checked for worms, and nothing was mentioned about her being tested for glaucoma. This is absolutely absurd and highway robbery. We will not be returning and will be letting all our rescue and foster parents know not to bring their furbabies in here.

Absolutely love these guys Dr Mike is amazingly gentle and kind and not judgmental gives very thorough exams and spends the time to treat the dogs the way they should be treated glad to have found

Seems like a nice option. Unfortunately they were not seeing patients when I called.

We got in the next day with out Parakeet who was sick. So happy to find an aviary vet in Genesee County!

Mike is rude and unorganized.

We have used Dr. Mike for years. We followed him when he moved. He is kind and compassionate. He and his staff always try to give treatment alternatives if possible to help fit your budget. The house call option is a plus too. I have recommended Dr. Mike to friends and family.

Was very pleased with my visit. Staff pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.

Charged $50 to not even examine the dog but to take a quick look ON THE FLOOR and say nothing is wrong although after getting a second opinion the dog has an infection. Terrible vet and employees very rude and the whole visit was POINTLESS. Don’t waste your time

Meds are exspensive but was not given opportunity to have an options to get it anywhere else.

The guy is just rude. He claimed we missed a surgery appointment when both my wife and I were on the phone when we confirmed the time so we know he's lying. I am glad we did not end up going there because he showed zero compassion for the animal and was just rude because we had questions about the surgery. I would 100% not recommend this place. First class loser

They are very helpful every time I went in the helped all my animals and now they are all really healthy I don't know what I would of done if I didn't find this place plus they are affordable love this place 10/10 for me I'd say

Impatient and just mean. This man has no compassion and I do NOT recommend bringing him into your home. One and done for us. I will drive ANYWHERE else first.

Took my 8 year old lab to Dr. Mike on a referral from my vet. Dr. Mike removed a large growth from my dogs leg/torso, 11 days later the stiches came out and my big guy is as good as new! The whole staff at VHCS is exceptional, very helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you for everything!!
