I have never had a more caring veterinarian staff as the wonderful people at Heritage. Dr Nathan Boggs always gives us details about our animals also in particular Peggy has taken care of calling in needs asking about our fur family by their names. They our family truly part of their family with their care and concern.

They are the most reasonable-priced Vet that I have found so far. Even though my regular Vet does care for my cat with asthma, it's difficult to get an appointment with them due to the pandemic, and they charge more. With Heritage, it's just a matter of getting there by 2 pm through 6 pm on most days as a walk-in. You do need to wait your turn and stay in your vehicle until they call you. They have performed surgery on my cat and continue to treat him for his asthma. Dr. Chad, the other Vets, and the entire staff are professional, caring, and efficient. I will continue to bring my cat to them for medical care.

Have been taking our two dogs there for many years ! The vets. And the staff are outstanding ! Very compassionate and caring willing to listen to all your worries give great advice and help you make the decisions that are right for your dog or cat or animal would highly recommend anyone to go there for the love of their pet because they treat them as they were their pets.

Unless you’re rich etc I do not recommend taking your sick puppy to Heritage. My 19 month old Belgian Malinois suddenly stopped eating Friday except for small portions of chicken breast and rice . Yesterday I took her to Heritage and because I was four dollars short , they refused to see her . I offered them my ssi card as collateral and a promissory note for the four dollars and they still refused to even look at her . Granted everyone should pay their own way , nobody owes anybody anything , but their position was so inhumane , especially since I’d used them before with my cat Shadow and the office visit was considerably less. I didn’t know the fee had changed just since summer. It is sad that someone advertise “ caring “ would jeopardize and animals life period, especially so for a mere four dollars. I am not sorry to say that I will never recommend Heritage Veterinarian Hospital for any reason. Do they care probably and obviously not , still I personally feel their position yesterday was horribly insensitive and deplorable . Margaret

My Wife and I have been to other veterinary clinics in the Flint area and Heritage is the best. Reasonable rates for top care of your fur friends.

I love the Drs here but waiting for an hour+ in the parking lot is frustrating! Other vets are allowing walk ins. What is the reasoning for this????

Dr. Chad is terrific. After seeing him a few times for our dog he said there was the possibility of her losing her eye if the prescriptions did not work. We were so stunned that we could not think of asking many questions. We called him back when we got home. He talked to us in more detail about how her eye might fail and need to be removed but that the chance of that happening was 30%. We felt much better after the 20-30 minute after hours call. We continued the treatments for about 5 weeks. Now her eye shows no evidence of having had a problem. This is a no-appointment veterinarian. Sometimes we waited in our car for 3 or 4 hours. (If you arrive as soon as they open and can check in by phone quickly, especially in the afternoon, the wait time would be less.) It was still worthwhile, and I have only thankfulness and praise for the services provided.

Dr Chadd saved our dog' ulcerated eye. It would have had to be removed if not for his treatment. Now it's bright and clear. Plus, the charges were very reasonable.

I love this place. The only difference i would do is a number system instead of trying to call when you get there. Or pay someone like me to sit at the door and check the fur babies in. Seen people come after me get called in before me. Seen people catch an employee in the parking lot claiming to of been there a half hour when really its only been maybe 10 minutes. Not alot of fairness in the current process and the desk people could be doing more important stuff than answering angry callers.

Dr Jamie helped me with the devastating passing of my standard poodle, Diva. She's a kind, caring vet.

I had to take my cat here for urinary issues and they were great! They also found that my cat has a heart murmur. They definitely show that they care about your pets and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone bringing their pet here.

While visiting our dog developed Old Dog Vestibular disease. We brought her to this Vet which is walk-in only. They were incredible! We were concerned with the fact that our dog wasn't drinking and wanted to take her back for more Sub-Q fluids. We called over and over and the message was from Verizon stating that all of their lines were busy. Internet said they were open til noon so we drove half hr to get inbedore they closed. Well, they were closed all day. I would definitely take my dog back to them but I suggest a recorded message to let people know when you are closed.
