Pets, to many of us, are part family. Seeing them hurting is one of the worst things we can encounter. Dr. Burke has compassion and empathy in what must be a very hard field. The world could do with more people like her in it.

Dr. Burke is an amazing person. Her and her staff truly care about every animal that comes through her door.

Dr. and the staff are so considerate and caring. My old boy loves the place and I do too...I travel all the way cross town just to get to Little Friends.

Dr. Burke and the whole staff is extremely caring and it is so clear that they LOVE animals. I’ve never met a more compassionate vet!

PLEASE update your website that you haven’t taken new clients in over 6 years. I had asked if they had any sort of waitlist just for the future and the person said “we haven’t had new clients in OVER SIX YEARS, I don’t see that changing any time soon”. So then I just felt like the dumbest person for even asking. I’m sure the service here is great for the long time clients, but just update the website. It’ll save people from getting upset at being turned away and will save the person answering the phone from having so many of these calls.

Wonderful staff and we love Dr Burke. My dog has high anxiety and they are all wonderful at helping her relax.

Excellent care in front and back. Dr. Bonnie is thorough, explains my questions and loves on our pets as if they were hers. It is also clear that everyone loves working at LFOF!

Seriously the FIRST thing that should be listed on your website is that you’re not taking any new patients. The receptionist literally laughed at me when I called saying I was a new client looking for vaccinations. She stated they hadn’t taken any new clients in years. Why would you even advertise your wonderful services if you’re not taking on any new clients?

Called and was told they're a one doctor practice and don't except new patients. They're going to have to sometime, pets don't live forever.

I called about gettin my puppy vaccinated and they responded they haven’t taken new patients in 6 years they should not be on Google. They are a joke as a medical Bussiness

I do not Recommend LFOF I been going here since 2006 until last fall when my Dog max had a nasty eye infection in which the Lord himself healed... This practice kept giving me medicine for him knowing it wasn't working and making his Condition Worst. Then they took advantage of the Covid-19 Plandemic and was over pricing me and when I got frustrated with them they tried to act like I was the bad guy. Then the owner called and left me a nasty voicemail and I returned the same manner when I called back. I take my dog elsewhere and that Practice told me alot of their new patients have had problems with LFOF

Not accepting new patients? Even though something is wrong with my dogs eye and she can’t open it.... it’s an eyeball, that’s a pretty serious thing. Then they wouldn’t even sell us eye drops because “she’s not a patient of ours”. Horrible people, horrible service. I’ll find somewhere else.

Great Vet! I found a dog while at work. I took the dog to Little Friends of Ferndale and they checked if she had a chip. She had a chip and I was able to return the dog to her owner. Great friendly staff. I would highly recommend Little Friends of Ferndale.

I use to have Respect for this place until covid happened and Little Friends of Ferndale started Milking me like a cow for money. It all started when my dog had a eye infection. They charged me 35 dollars just to look at his Eye. I specifically told them to give him eye drops. They did not follow or Obey my Orders. Also Sandy who works there has poor phone behavior and I had to put her in check. I use to think highly of this place but they Suck and I will be reporting them to the Animal welfare society and taking them to Court about my dog's eye.

They have the greatest compassion towards my pets. Best Vet .ever

We have been devoted clients of LFOF for 16 years! Dr. Burke is absolutely the most compassionate and wonderful vet. Also, every single interaction with anyone on her competent staff is always friendly, informative and positive. She saved the life of our dog Skyler when she was a puppy, was there for us when we had to put our beloved Bella mutt down and has welcomed our new addition Happy with loving and expert care. We couldn't be more happy with our choice of veterinary office.

Dr. Burke and her staff are amazing! I had some pretty terrible veterinary experiences at other places but these wonderful people have comforted all my fears!!

Not very friendly. REAL quick to dismiss seeing my pet saying "they have only one vet who's not accepting new patients." Felt like it was more of "not accepting new patients that are old" since my dog is 12yrs. I even told them I was trying to support local being that my vet was retiring. But I guess my money will go to Birmingham where my dog was welcomed!
