I found the staff to be very friendly. The vet I saw was knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions. They went above and beyond for my pet.

Truly awful, far worse than they’ve ever been with regards to high prices and marginal service. Scheduled an appointment for a root canal. They were able to get us an advance appoint, but we couldn’t get an estimate over the phone, brought the dog in and was given an estimate for $2,700 - $1,000 more than the prior root canal. Only explanation was that “prices went up”. Then they tried to tack on many unnecessary add on’s. After declining the service, they threated to send us a bill for "just being there"! This all could have been avoided if they were honest and upfront with their prices. After 5 years were done with these people.

I recently brought my 14 1/2 year old cat to The Village Animal Clinic after trying many other vets and an emergency clinic. Chipper, my cat, was in pain. She had a tentative appointment for dental work in January. I didn’t think she could wait. Dr. Rosado and his staff were awesome! They were very caring and helpful. As it turned out, my poor feline had a rather large tumor at the back of her throat. No wonder she was miserable! Dr. Rosado suspected it was probably squamous cell carcinoma. This is a common occurrence in older cats. The tumor was in a bad spot to remove, so I opted to euthanize her. I was not charged for a lot of unnecessary procedures. In fact, after finding the tumor, they did no more and called me. Chipper was paw printed and I was given a small vial with her fur. The staff brought her to me for a final pat and farewell. They were compassionate and professional. Great clinic and great staff!

Worst experience with a vet ever. They weren’t able to do the exam but still tried to charge us for it. Then gave us a quote for a tooth extraction that actually didn’t need to happen but they would’ve known that if they actually did the exam. The price was four times more than other quotes that We received. Way overpriced!

Dr. Yvonne Provci is very knowledgeable and did everything in her power to help our elderly boy in his time of need. She gave us detailed explanation of all the procedures that our kitty needed to go through. Very dedicated and offered practical support and advice. When I talked on the phone with Celina , she was very pleasant and efficient.

I has my 10 year old Yorkie/Pom, Lulu, into the clinic this week for a dental. Dr. Rosado went into great detail explaining the procedure to me. The charges were also explained in detail. Lulu came home with fewer teeth, but is feeling and acting like a youngster. I didn't realize the discomfort she must have been feeling from her teeth. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have removed my review that detailed everything this clinic did that was wrong. Bottom line: stay away from this place. They way over-charge for everything, and they try to get as much money as possible, regardless of whether the pet needs what they peddle. In particular, when I went to pick up my cat after the procedure, they suddenly told me that they didn't finish everything because they felt the animal was under anesthesia too long, and they wanted me to come back for another visit. Because they charge outrageous costs just for the anesthesia, this extra visit basically DOUBLES the cost. I met another victim, who told me that they did this exact thing; informing her at the last second that she had to come back because they didn't finish the work. She wound up paying > $4,000 just to have her cat's teeth cleaned. I believe there is also another Google review reporting this same exact rip-off. Another thing they did was call me THREE TIMES during the procedure to inform me that additional work would be needed. There is another Google review that reports this exact same thing. Coincidence?

Great quality service; very kind and concerned. The entire staff is very personable. Great follow up and follow through! They called and emailed to check on our "patient" and offered assistance. Dr. K was warm, professional and caring. He was very thorough and patient in explaining the treatment and follow up. We are pleased with the choice!

Staff is nice, the reason you can get your appointment here pretty soon is because they are waaaay over priced for just about everything. I suggest you get a few quotes for any dental work needed. This vet is very extraction happy and was literally twice the price of another place I ended up going to which is also known for their dental specialty. You can get an idea of expected prices based on vet visit charge. I believe this place was like $100 for a consult, the place I ended up going to only charges $60. The place I went to is in South Lyon on 10 Mile, there's another good affordable place in Romulus.

People are nice. If your pet needs surgery I suggest getting a second opinion. My puppy was in an accident over a holiday weekend, possibly had a fractured jaw. Village animal wanted $5000 upfront before even doing x-rays to be see if it was a fracture. I took my puppy to her regular vet they did an x-ray no fracture. I have pet insurance but who has $5k upfront to pay then wait to be reimbursed. I felt sad and lost but my puppy is ok now.

Village Animal Clinic has been caring for my family pets since the eighties. The vets and staff are knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They really care about your experience and follow up to ensure your furry friend is feeling okay after their visit. I feel very comfortable bringing my pets to them. Raven and all the staff are a pleasure to work with.

I just started taking my pets to this vet. They both have health issues that make them prone to getting respiratory infections. When I need to take one in I have to see the vet as soon as possible so they doesn't get really sick. I have never had an issue getting them seen asap. I have had issues with other vets not giving the right about of medication for their treatments. I understand when treating infections in animals it is hard to tell how much medication will be needed. That causes them to get sicker and need more visits. I have never had that issue with this vet. They even found supplements for me to give them that may reduce the amount of times they get sick. Here is a pic of my two, happy, and healthy kitties, thanks to this vet!

Village Animal Clinic is amazing. We took our dog for dental work and were really scared about the process because he was having a surgery. They found a heart murmur before the surgery which also made this process more scary. We called multiple times the morning of to ask questions and voice concerns and they were so pleasant and helpful each time. I would have been annoyed if I were them, and I am sure they were, but if so, that never came through to me. They were nothing but kind and supportive! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their services.

My cat has severe periodontal desease and needed a lot of work done. They were very professional and called me to give me updates. The paperwork I received when I picked up my cat was amazing. It was thorough and easy to understand. It gave me a synopsis of my cat's health and exactly what procedures they had performed on him. In addition to the detailed home-care instructions, I received information about how to care for my cats dental health in the future. I highly recommend this clinic.

I am extremely satisfied with the care and compassion that my senior (12 yr old chihuahua ) "fur baby" and I received from Dr. Hoane and the entire staff at Village Animal Clinic. Dr. Hoane treated and remove an Abscessed Tooth along with 2 other teeth. Everything about the procedure was explained in great detail before, during, and after by Dr. Hoane which helped me tremendously!! I was EXTREMELY NERVOUS about having the procedure done! My "baby" did GREAT and is doing sooo much better now!! I would definitely recommend Village Animal Clinic!!
