The low level of customer service at the grooming department is only comparable to the lack of knowledge about pet care. My dog was not allowed to get in because the vaccination records says Canine Distemper instead of Rabies. Obviously, they do not know or understand that Canine Distemper is a combination shot that includes the Rabies shot. Extremely unprofessional and very disappointing customer care.

Looking for basic cat stuff and clerk had no idea what I was talking about.. on the other hand, there was a clerk to talk to which is wonderful, and he did know where the cat section was, and he was nice and TRIED to be helpful. Giving them 4 stars because I couldn't find the stuff I needed, although on the 3rd hand, that may be supply chain problems.

Very bad experience with first time grooming at 29335 Orchard Lake Rd Farmington Michigan my Yorkie puppy had a grooming appointment today at 10am and I specifically asked the groomer only lightly trim his top coat and low cut around his eyes and legs. My pup was black and brown when I dropped him off and when I returned my pup was pure gray. This groomer cut my pup down all over to the lowest and I mean its like he skint my pup . This is my baby, I'm so upset. And to top it all off when I picked my pup up and the groomer seen I was upset he didn't apologize or anything. Its like he said forget what I requested and did what he wanted to do. All he said was he not black and brown anymore. Wow.........My whole family and friends are dog moms and dads and I'm definitely not referring Petco for dog grooming or anything . I'm so hurt and disappointed.

This place is horrible I will never bring my dog to this place again arrived 1min late due to traffic only for them to tell me they would still service my dog but got him to the back washed him and said he was being to frisky and he is a small breed puppy 5 months old so I had to take my wet puppy out in the cold because they did not want to service me I felt racially profiled because I was not of an Caucasian race if I would have know they was going to be like this I would have never booked and appointment they was very unprofessional and I don’t recommend anyone of another race to visit this establishment im highly upset by this and hope everyone read this review

The guy who helped me last friday at about 1:00pm was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. He assisted me on my purchase for my son's new bunny! He was also very patient and I didnt feel rushed!

I'd add an extra two ???????? This place was amazing! They had better selection of items at much more reasonable prices than competitors... But, what was the best is that the staff was more knowledgeable about the pets and goods they had in their store! You can see a son as you walk in, that they have real knowledge and can answer all your questions.

Run around with the grooming department had an appointment today Thursday at 2. I wanted to get back my puppy groomed and he needed booster Shots rabies booster since he is gonna be 6 months the 26th little toy poodle. So with noninfo and no help there to get the shots the next clinic day sept 25. So I go home try to make an appointment and there's nothing available on them calendars so I just totally gave up and when else we're going elsewhere I also want to the bed next door and my pet got his foot caught in the door luckily everything was okay but they were pretty rude over there too the new crispy chicken but I just want to let you know I don't think I'll ever be doing any business with that so again it's going to take a lot to get me back there being one. They told me to make a Erd. So u asked for

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GROOMING SERVICES!!!! The staff for the GROOMING SERVICES are rude and incompetent!! I made an appointment for my puppy weeks in advance and had even called and left a message to ask about his vaccinations… no answer and no call back. He turned 16 weeks 2 DAYS AGO and knowing that there would be an issue, I spoke to my vet, who I had an appointment with to get his rabies shot in 5 days, said that they shouldn’t turn him away since he’s up-to-date on ALL OF HIS OTHER SHOTS and being a puppy who isn’t exposed to dog parks and other animals, can go without his rabies shot for a week. I get a text today saying he needs his rabies vaccine papers, and when I call to ask if there was an exception, the woman on the phone was very rude and denied to see my puppy because he turned 16 weeks two days ago and absolutely needs his rabies shot with a day grace period before he can be seen. I don’t understand how he could be seen a day before he turns 16 weeks but the minute he does, he must absolutely have his rabies shot even if the vet cannot administer it to him for another week. HOW ABSURD!!! You have lost my business entirely, Petco! Thank you to the rude lady on the phone! My money and my puppy will go elsewhere instead of your awful grooming services!!!

It's a shame that most small tropical fish stores are gone and have been replaced by these chains. The quality of the fish is fair, at best, and the tanks have no design. The people have little to no knowledge. They were Probably making ???? yesterday! On occasion u can catch a good sale but it swordfish at $10 A POP is insane. Ornament prices are also nuts. These places work best for dog and cat toys and treats but not as a place to start your tropical fish cle

I went to look at some birds. I shopped around, but they were too expensive. 1 bird was 599.00 then I went to another Petco and the bird was 449.00. So i went another Petco and I found what I was looking for and that bird was 224.00 and I got 2 of them Canary Wing Parakeets. Oliver and Kiwi and they get along good. I had them for a week and they are very happy to be in a good home. I love so much I talk to them and I hand feed them and they just show out all the time. I am very happy and the staff was very helpful to me. The birds had been waiting for about a year or longer for a home and I have them now. They squawk very loud, but that's ok. They are so cute green, yellow and just a little white on the wings. I take a lot of pictures of them until you would think they were my kids.???? I am very pleased with them. Thanks Petco.

After they groomed my dog I went for a walk with him and immediately after got my weiner touched by some lady because my dog was pretty. Thanks petco Farmington Hills

Groomers barely did anything and charger me $60. Will never go there again
