I feel very lucky to have found JAH. I've been taking my cats there for 4 years now and they have been consistently kind. This has been especially important since one cat has had some serious conditions. I had an appt today but went to an emergency instead. I was told the vet could handle it and called to see if I could be seen sooner then my appt time. They let me come straight over and then apologized for making me wait for the whole maybe 7 minutes. I met with 2 wonderful staff, Sandy and Dr. Zelten. They were comforting, helpful, informative and I had complete trust and confidence in what I was told. I've met with different doctors and support staff and it's always been the same. They are patient with me and I've observed a lot of sweet talk with the animals. You guys are great. Thank you.

I have had absolutely nothing, but awful experiences here. They told me that my cat was dying and literally blamed me for it. Now I just got another cat fixed and her stitches popped open, but they will only squeeze her in if she got fixed there. So they won’t help me. And the lady on the phone was extremely unprofessional, as I’m sitting there in tears worried about my animal she is literally laughing at me. I hope this place goes out of business. Truly.

We was in and out they took very good care of my baby and I. Setting up the appointment was a breeze I did it online and then they call me right away and I got right in.

So I took my dog there who is deeply afraid of any other person, growls, runs away, things like that. Today, I brought her in for a possible urinary infection. I pulled up, called the number and a tech came out to get her. They are allowing one person in with the pet, but I had my daughter so I waited outside. Well, our dog went in with the lady like she was a long lost friend. No trouble at all. The visit went quick and the Dr came outside to talk to me within 15 minutes. Gave me details about how she was, addressed my concerns and gave me options for treatment. Urine test would be back the next day, so she said if antibiotics are needed I can come back. Entire visit was about 30 minutes, I've been coming here for over 10 years and have always had excellent service.

400$ for a urinalysis and diagnosis... 6 months ago or so

The doctors at Jeffrey animal hospital have taken care of my dogs for the last 7 years. They were kind and instrumental when my oldest dog was dying a few years ago. They're great with animals and during the pandemic they have done a great job with taking care of us.

They were very kind and caring but made me wait in the car 30 minutes before they took my cat in. A call saying they had an emergency would have been courteous. Also not being able to take my cat into the exam room terrified her. I am vaccinated and can prove it. There is no reason to do curbside pick-up.

I’ve been going to this vet the last 5 cats I’ve had.They are always nice,on time and they explain everything in detail when they are finished.I really appreciate the staff here and I would never think of going anywhere else.

I started going to this vet because my foster I was volunteering with used this place. As I failed at fostering I continued to go to this place because they are so sweet and great with my girl Billie! Even though it is a hike from my house it is so worth it. I highly recommend. Also due to the pandemic I have never even been inside and I feel so comfortable with them handling my girl! Their curbside service is great and efficient and their prices you can't beat! Thanks Jeffrey Animal Hospital for being so good at what you do! You guys are awesome!

Meet Kia 9 months after Jeffrey Animal hospital help'd save her thank you for all you do before and after photos

Awesome staff, fast and efficient, they saved my baby Kia a stray that was only 2 months old and at a cost a single mom could do, now she's a year old and as healthy as can be.

My pit mix injured her back left knee so I took her to Jeffery animal hospital to get it checked out and see if she'd need surgery... in less then 5 mins they had determined she needed an amputation. Obviously I decided to get a second opinion on this so I took her an hour away to Wilson's in Washington twp and they told me she had a torn acl and could get surgery and live a happy pain free life with all 4 legs... what really got to me the most is when the doctor at Wilson's said it's common and not the first time he's seen them tell younger people to amputate simply off the assumption that because I am young and work labor I couldn't afford an operation. My family has used Jeffrey's for 20 years now and are all extremely upset at the way they acted and treated me and my dog and will no longer be taking out animals there for any reason.

Jeffrey Animal Hospital saw my dog, which was a new patient, only 2 days after I called to schedule an appointment. I didn’t get charged an “emergency office visit” price. The price was very fair. They were very timely with our scheduled appointment times, no extra wait time. The staff is very nice, thorough and professional.

I was going here for years and have had 2 animals pass away under their care. On the 3rd I was not going to take the risk so I took my cat to another vet. Which I found out for the past year and over $1200 dollars they kept telling me to run blood work and all these test that were irrelevant to the root of the problem which was a bulge on his paw. After I went to Sheehy one look at it and they assumed it to be a tumor after further tests we found that it was, and saved his life. Do NOT make the same mistake me and my family did with our loved ones.

Absolutely terrible patient care and/or customer service skills. My family is trying to get a problem solved with my elderly boxer. I am in Tennessee and unable to be there for the appointments but the doctor refuses to talk to me on the phone or give my parents any useful intelligent information. The doctor wasn’t familiar with the animal she’d seen a week ago and charged my father an office visit to just dismiss our concerns and continue her push on referring him to a specialist about another unrelated problem. Very unprofessional and infuriating. Don’t see Dr. Demtriwhatever. If you want your animal to be made a priority, I’d go somewhere else. I will be having my boxer seen by a reputable veterinarian.
