Dr. Cowan has cared for many of my family's pets. He's an awesome vet. The prices are reasonable. My pets are happy and so are we.

I was enjoying great experiences giving great ratings to get the stress of losing Majick off my mind. then my reviews asked how was my visit to Cowan Vet my visit was horrible. shortly after a night spent and day of surgery sadly Majick passed away. she was winning loud couldn’t walk her legs were weak in the back. she went gracefully looking at me sadly saying goodbye her last moment concerning about my feelings. our entire family is still devastated over this sudden death of a lifelong companion .The next Monday I visited Cowan from calling and visiting all weekend to talk to Mr Cowan to let him know that I had been calling since Majick arrived home and passed shortly after. I paid almost close to 1000 dollars for her surgery and a few other procedures one of removal of a abscess on her tooth that wasn’t removed. I asked for half of my money back I was given 100 dollars and a hug and no explanation to tell my children what happen to magic .Mr Cowan shook his head and said I don’t know it could have been a number of things . Rest In Peace Majick mommy loves you and you will forever be in my heart,

Visited Cowan's and our dog Sky was treated very nicely and procedure was quick. Place was a little dirty and flies were all over.

Dr Cowan is the best!! I recently had a horrible experience with another veterinarians office the day before. My dog (boss) was extremely ill stopped eating and was throwing up constantly. I was hit with a $300 vet bill only for them to send us back home without medication or a diagnosis. I called Dr Cowan and he waited for me to come after his office was closed. He treated boss with IV and antibiotics and Boss was better in no time! The pricing was extremely reasonable as well. Highly recommended

Yesterday I called in crying because my puppy was experiencing an allergic reaction & I her face was swollen the size of a basketball. Eyes couldn’t even open. I called in and explained I thought my dog was about to die her face is swollen shut. The man that answered the phone told me “We don’t open til 5pm” likeee wowwwww how considerate but after he told me that he hung up. Sooooo professional right??!! If you don’t care about a dogs life you shouldn’t work with them period. I don’t understand how he’s there answering the phone at 1pm but don’t open til 5pm???? What a joke!!!!!! I recommend Blue Pearl Pet Hospital In Southfield. This place here is a joke. Buncha people that are there to collect a paycheck not make a difference

BEWARE Rudest people ever they are only there to collect money they do not care about your pets they double vaccinated a dog then once we brung him back the day later Because he started being faint they blamed him being sick because of parvo they didn’t do any test they only stuck a thermometer in him and said his temperature is high so he has parvo meanwhile if you know about parvo then you’ll know it’s very contagious he has been around plenty other puppies and none of them have the virus .... moral of the story don’t come here they over vaccinated him and we had to put him down due to him suffering

The doctor did a wonderful job I might have puppies ears. You really cares about animals and their parents.

If i could give 0 stars I would. Very snappy when trying to set the appointment. I made an appointment for 4 pm. I arrived at 3:15 in case there was paperwork to do. It's 4:30 and I'm STILL sitting outside with the building completely locked and a sign saying we'll be back at 4 pm.
