Very happy with the service, but definitely on the higher end of cost.

The staff is so friendly and caring. Always helpful... They truly are amazing.

I liked Advanced pet care because they did not pressure me to get services done to my dog I did not want done. My past vet "pet Authority" did that. when you declined a service they tried to make you feel like a terrible irresponsible pet owner, which I am not.

Advanced Pet Care of Oakland took very good care of my dog and they were very patient with him.

Everyone at Advanced Petcare is so nice and really care about my pets health and wellbeing. I recommend them for any of your pet needs.

Dr Waters, Andrea, Tristen and the entire team at Advanced PetCare are so professional, thorough and caring. They made me feel like family and were so helpful with tips for raising my new puppy in a positive way. I appreciate the fear free approach and all of the time that they spent with me and my pup. They really care about their patients, highly recommended!

I visited with a stray cat (who decided to come live with us recently) to get her checked out and vaccinated. The staff could not have been nicer, kinder, or more wonderful toward our new family member! They obviously love animals as much as my family does. Wow! I thought our previous two vets were good, this place is INCREDIBLE! We were going out of the country and had to get paperwork processed the team here did a PHENOMENAL JOB! They walked us through the entire process and went above and beyond my highest expectations! They took such good care of our puppy! They were SO ORGANIZED and SO CARING! I cannot recommend this vet office enough everyone was so kind and amazing! We will come back whenever we come back to the States!

My pup is not a fan of the vet and can be a handful but Advanced Pet Care loves him all the same and takes the absolute best care of him. I no longer live nearby but I still drive the 45 minutes to take him here because I just don’t trust anyone else. Highly recommend!

They treated our ferret Rosie so special from treats to care. I have to bring Rosie by myself and she always nips at me so I was quite nervous how she would behave with the staff. They were phenomenal with her. Thanks guys.

Staff at Advanced PetCare are very friendly and compassionate to concerns and very patient when helping you to understand the care your pet needs. They offer phone numbers for after hour assistance to a knowledgeable resource who provides sensible direction for caring for your pet to help avoid unneeded expenses for emergency care... They listened to my concerns about the situation and put my mind at ease that our pet was stable and could wait to be seen during regular office hours.

My first visit was awesome! Dr. Jill and staff were extremely friendly, conscientious, polite, attentive and listened to my concerns. Dr. Jill took great care in examining my precious girl Mocha and explained what she believes she needed, and addressed all of my concerns. She didn't rush, and took her time. I was extremely impressed.

The staff here is wonderful with my very precocious 11 y/o shih tzu who has become my service dog due to my progressive vision and hearing loss. She is very comfortable with the vets, techs and has been seen by all the staff her whole life, so we left our previous clinic which is much closer to home so she can be cared for by Dr. Waters, Maria, Melissa, Dr. K

They got us in, great care with the cats who didn't really like coming to the strange place where they only get pokes. Feel in good, caring, capable hands! Would've rated 5 stars if the anticipated fees and treatment would have been discussed before we got the bill at the end. Not anything wrong, and not sure what we might have authorized differently, we just drew a breath when we saw the final number.

We just had Lady our Chocolate Lab in for her spay and she’s doing great, the staff is always so sweet plus super awesome at following-up to see how Lady is doing. They’re like this after any visit whether it’s vaccinations or check-ups they’re on top of things. We appreciate them and happy we found a great vet so close to home!

This was my first time here, my dog pulled her groin muscle and they were able to get her into the office quickly. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Sarah was also awesome!! You can tell she really loves her job and the animals she helps. She was super patient with me and all my questions about the medications and at-home care i had to do for my dog. It was nice to see the staff be so kind during a stressful moment. I recommend going here if you are able.

Our two dogs love Advance Pet Care of Oakland, and so do their humans! The staff is always responsive and caring when having any interaction and the vets are super knowledgeable, plus I love their follow up. We purchased a Puppy Care Plan with one of our Pups and it has been so nice to have a payment plan and know that we are covered in the first year of his life! We moved quite a distance away from the offices but will continue to bring our dogs in for any veterinarian needs. I highly recommenced them to anyone looking for veterinarian services.

Gotta say. We've taken all of our pets here at least once and have stopped going here due to high prices. What just nixed you completely from my list was the very unprofessional conversation I had with a receptionist early this week. My cat unexpectedly passed away. I was devastated. I called you to see what your cremation prices are... rather than even expressing the LEAST bit of sympathy, your FIRST jab was "Oh- do you need us to euthanize it???" IT??? First off, obviously had you listened.... no... she passed. Second, IT was a beloved cat whom belonged to my grandmother who we lost due to cancer 3 years ago. IT had a name- not that you cared. IT was a family member. IT was the last connection we had to my grandmother. When I choked and explained SHE had already passed, again... not even the slightest remorseful pippy excited voice... "OH! OKAY!!! Our pricing is blah blah blah". Let me tell you.... at that point? I didn't care what the pricing was. The blatant disregard for what had just happened was enough. We went through a fantastic crematory called Pet Passages in Lake Orion who was not only the kindest, but also most remorseful and kind gentleman we have EVER met. They treated us and our baby girl like she was one of his. I understand that not every individual holds their pet at the same value... but your receptionists need to understand that not everything is about money or your services. Sometimes it's as simple as understanding basic loss saying "I'm so sorry". We won't be back- and we will never take another family member here again.

I can't say enough good things about the staff and doctors. My dog has anxiety issues going into the vet and everyone is so considerate and helpful trying to ease my dogs stress. The vet did the entire appointment sitting on the floor trying to calm my dog and make future visits less stressful. I've been a client for over 10 years and will continue with this group as long as they're around.

I can’t recommend this vet enough! The techs, front desk and exotic specialists go above and beyond for out little ones! Bailey really appreciates the care!

They took great care of my two adopted dogs from health screening to updated on all there shots,when buddy got neutered they set up a easy pay plan to pay for it, they also send friendly text reminders for upcoming pills that are due very awesome group of care workers

Dr. Arment was wonderful for our appointment. She was thorough and addressed every concern I had for my little kitten’s eye. She gave us many options with how to proceed with his care and went above and beyond to help me schedule with a specialist. Advanced is the place to go for high quality vet care!

The staff at Advanced Pet Care were amazing! They worked me in on short notice so my dog could get a much-needed allergy shot. Though it was our first time there, we were treated with such care and not rushed through at all. Thanks to this care, Advanced is our new vet!

Every single employee I met at this location had an obvious love of animals and showed kindness towards me and my friend, Cookie. Cookie is an 11 year old lab and not one to enjoy a vet visit. That being said Dr. Sheldon and all the staff were kind and understanding. Special shout out to Michelle who was clearly made to take care of animals....and their owners. Thank you everybody!
