November 2021 - great place. They will repeat things to you and go over questions. Wonderful place to take your pet. Currently, you need to make an appointment. When you get there you will see sings in front of the building. Call them when you arrive with the number. They will come to you. My dog is not scared, and he has no issues with them.

This place is great I couldn't have found a better place they saved my dog's life they are a blessing. I'm truly grateful.

Dr T and Dr Brett wonderful vet

I’ve trusted this vet with every pet that I’ve had. Currently my 2 dogs are patients there and even though they are super anxious about going the vet, they take such good care of them. Both big dogs who hate getting nails clipped and the techs do a great job trimming them and keeping them calm. One of ours just had dew claw surgery and they have been super helpful and responsive. All the vets here are amazing. There’s a reason it’s such a busy office! Thank you guys for working so hard and taking care of my big babies!

We have been going to North Gratiot veterinary for over 20 years with six different pets over the years. We love Dr. Brett, truly a caring and compassionate person/veterinarian. They are busy nonstop, but they always give you the time and care your pet needs. They always offer options.The staff is always there to help you. You can also leave the doctors a voicemail and they definitely get back with you by the end of the day. I’ve always felt totally safe with my pets being in their care. ????

Been taking my dog max here for the past 3 years since we got him as a puppy, in the first year he had a really scary blood thing happen and almost died, they were so great about it explained it all really well for me (19 at the time) to understand and kept him until they felt comfortable he could leave their sight. They have always been so nice and caring Dr. Brett really is one of the best. I could never imagine taking max anywhere else.

Had a horrible experience with Dr. Robert W. Theuerkauf, D.V.M. Had to bring my puppy in for an urgent care visit and was squeezed in, due to my vet not having an opening. They took my puppy and were back out to the car in less than 5 minutes. They gave her an injection, without asking me permission, which is totally inappropriate. Said she had GI upset and provided 2 meds. After a few hours she was lethargic and shaking, so I called and they got me in again. The vet did a glucose test, which came back normal. He gave her some vitamin paste and soft food and said small puppies can shake and energy levels go up and down, it’s normal. Took her home and the following day she was worse, couldn’t even walk, shaking, lethargic. Took her to an ER vet and they said this is NOT normal and did a battery of tests. She was kept overnight with IV fluids because they believe she got into something toxic. She is doing much better now! I literally thought she was going to die in my arms.

I love this vet. Love them. They diagnosed a heart condition in our dog and saved his life. They have been our vet for over 15 years. Will not go anywhere else. Prices are reasonable, staff is wonderful.

Great facility, staff is friendly, helpful and caring, they are working curbside service only, the girl getting you signed in is on task! The Vet and Vet techs either come talk with you or call you, I was please with the service. They have been great through the years with both our cats. Unfortunately we had to lay our cat to rest after 17 years they allowed us to be there til the end and we were very grateful for that.

i adopted a dog from a rescue. his owner had passed away. even though i have PROOF of ownership they refuse to turn over his vaccination records. i have adopted many dogs. and i have never had this problem. so i guess i will have him vacinated again even though he doesn’t need it. doesn’t sound like they care about the animal.

Not as bad as others but not the greatest either. Hate vets that try little scams to pull more money out of you. Now there’s like pull ahead appts that are first come first serve if there’s availability but it’s an addl extra $20.

I just want to say thank you Dr. Brett for taking such good care of my dog Dandy I have been coming there for 8 years I would not ever go anywhere else staff is consider it takes good care of you.

Disapointed they couldnt take my neighbors dog emergency

I’ve been bringing my puppy here for almost a year but my last few visits have been very disappointing. Whenever I ask a question I rarely get a good answer or any help. I most recently brought him because he was coughing, I thought maybe it was kennel cough but I wasn’t sure. They saw him for less than 5 minutes, brought him back to me, then said “the vet will call you.” I feel like they just took my word for it even though I wasn't 100% sure and I’m not a vet. I barely got any information on what was wrong with him and was sent home with antibiotics and a $300 bill.
