REVISED: Well they quoted me a price on a surgical procedure for one of my dogs and 2 months later told me they wouldn't honor the quote and that they changed their billing processes. So they jacked up the price an additional $300! I'll be going else where. Good luck. Revised: It's all about the money here. I tried once more with this place and more of the same.

My dog had a life-threatening injury. And was a patient of this office for about two years. We called on a Wednesday around 3 o’clock and asked if they could help by squeezing him in to be seen! They instantly replied no! we then asked how about the next day. They replied no you can go somewhere else. We tried to explain that this was a life-threatening injury but they couldn’t care less. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that they were responsible for the death of my pet. Turns out my dog had cancer and which was causing massive fluid buildup in the stomach. However If you’re A veterinarian aren’t you supposed to be in the business of helping people. Doesn’t it just kind of come with the Job description that emergencies happen? Very disappointed. Very unprofessional.

I very rarely post reviews but this vet went so above and beyond for us I felt the need to share. I can't begin to list everything they did to help me but the biggest was returning my 730am call before business hours and getting us in that day. After not hearing back from our original vet after 24 hours I was relieved they had called back and made us an appointment so quickly. These people actually care about your animals. They didn't overcharge and went above and beyond to help my pup and answer all my questions.

Good experience. Dr. Called me immediately about health issues my dog has and explained everything to me and all of my treatment options.

I am not one that usually goes online to write a negative review but other people should know about this. I think you guys should read up on the executive order. It states a vet can see an animal if it necessary to preserve the life of an animal. If our dog misses his monthly Percorten injection by as little as 3 days he stops eating and has a hard time moving because he is in pain. I cannot believe you would call and cancel his appointment and tell us to wait another month. He wouldn't live long enough to make that appointment. My wife even called your office last week to make sure he would get his shot and was told that it would not be a problem because he needed it to survive. UNBELIEVABLE!

Caring vet and I like that they don't push services, especially for my elderly cats.

A HUGE thank you to the staff and Dr.Lee, who treated my elderly dog yesterday. Thanks to them, she's back to her usual self today despite a serious dental issue. I have taken my animals to them for years because they are the BEST. Thanks again Brighton Animal Hospital!

We've taken our animals here for a few years now. We especially appreciate that their hours allow for after-work visits. The vets are friendly and attentive, and the one time I had an issue with their service they listened carefully to my concerns and corrected it immediately. They have an online portal, and send email reminders when an appointment is needed.

My sister called and scheduled me an urgent appointment at the Howell location (she's a vet tech but doesn't live close so she'll do the talking for me in more serious situations), but due to a miscommunication I showed up at the Brighton office. After figuring out why they had no idea who I was, the receptionist offered to see if they would still see my cat because of what we needed (a blood test to check for anemia that didn't seem so severe I needed to take her to the emergency in Novi). They fit me in and everyone was so nice, they even kept thanking us for our patience and all I could say was thank YOU for even seeing us. I've had some not great experiences with vets in the past and I was so happy with our visit I'll just keep taking my pets here.

Love this place! They are always friendly and courteous. My family has been taking cats and dogs here for years. They always recommend the best course of action whether it is the cheapest route or most expensive, whatever is best for your furry friend. I would recommend taking you fur babies here any day.

I have taken pets here for many years. It was always an awesome place - caring vets and great service. Then they sold out to a big vet group called VCA - just in it for the profits. Care and service has gone down the drain. I waited in an exam room for 1 hour and walked out as my dog was there for anxiety!! Do you think waiting for an hour doesn't bring on anxiety? Then one day during business hours, my cat started urinating blood - they couldn't fit him in for 3 days. I will NEVER return.

Please pet owners do yourself a favor and make sure you are absolutey clear with the people you talk to on the phone. I had a pet cremated with this vet and asked for a private creation. I had a private cremation with a previous animal and it included paw prints. They "forgot to check a box" and we did not get paw prints for this animal. My wife is crushed. Don't use this vet, but if you do clarify everything!

my cat had a UTI and within three days it was nearly critical, but it was early enough to save him. If we had not brought him here, he would still be alive today. We make an early appointment for the morning, have to wait 40 min for the doctor to arrive when we get there, only for her to tell us that they meant to inform us to go to the Animal ER in novi for a catheter, however while they checked him out in the back they tried to manually drain his bladder with a needle through his stomach to relieve pain for the 20 min drive apparently (Which they charged us for and never asked for our consent) when they bring him back to the room we instantly notice his breathing has become erratic and question it to which they say he’s just nervous. We rush to the ER for them to tell us that his bladder had just been burst and he was now in extreme kidney failure. Tried the catheter for five hours before were informed if he even makes it through the night he will only live another 4-6 months while heavily medicated. This situation would have been avoided entirely if only we had went somewhere else. My pet and friend would still be here.

This office is wonderful! Dr. Burin is amazing. I woke up to my beloved Ollie ( 120 lbs American Bulldog unable to urinate. He was going through the motions but not successful. Knowing this could potentially be an emergency, I called my regular veterinarian. I was shocked to hear they could not get my Ollie in until after 2 PM that day. Really? When I called Brighton Animal Hospital they got me right in. Everyone there is pleasant and they made my visit much easier. Needless to say they are my new veterinarian office. Highly recommend them.

Absolutely the worst experience. We called to schedule an appointment for our dog who is not feeling well. We got no follow up, and no medication ordered what resulted in rescheduling the appointment. Well, cancelling because we will not be using VCA services anymore.
