Banfield Pet Hospital Brighton, Michigan

I bought there wellness plan and have been repeatedly unimpressed with the service provided. Recently had an emergency with my dog and was refused help and wasn't even given accurate information on where else I could go to find care. Absolutely repulsed by company and the lack of care provided. Literally anywhere else would be better.

We have been bringing our pets to Banfield for 13 years and we absolutely adore Dr. Miller at the Brighton, MI location. She really cares about our animals well being, she cares about us as customers and I know my pets are well taken care of with her. We had to put our beloved Penny to sleep in November 2020 and throughout her care she showed such devotion to Penny while she fought Diabetes’ for a year and a half. She also showed such devotion to our Sable when she had a mass growing on one of her breasts that she was going to remove when she did her spay surgery. She hadn’t done the breast surgery but 1 other time so she had another veterinarian come into surgery with her to assist so she could have everything go well with the breast removal.

Worst vet office in my life very rude Dr. All they are about is money they wanted to do all kinds of unnecessary testing that was not even the issues that needed to be addressed then she has the nerve to call animal control on me I will never go there if I was you I would take your animals to town and country they are the best vet around will understand you and work with you if you can’t afford the money don’t go there because they will call on you as well that’s what all they want is money they thought by calling on me I would come back and bring the animal back for them to treat it no not happening never I will go to my vet town and country in Brighton

Dr Miller and the rest of the staff at Banfield are great! Our Labrador furbaby was very happy there.

Great staff! Our puppy has been going there and we got the package where you pay monthly fee and you get all the puppy shots plus spade and it's very affordable. Our puppy got spade about 2 week's ago and she's doing great. They are very professional and keep our puppy healthy.

I called Banfield Pet Hospital in Brighton last minute when my dog tore his dew claw and needed medical attention. Even though I do not normally attend this location, they fit me in to their busy schedule right away. They diagnosed and treated my dog within 30 minutes and the veterinarian thoroughly explained everything to me so I could care for him at home. I would especially like to recognize Dr. Korman, Tia, Jen, Michelle, and Kate for being friendly, caring, and attentive with my pet. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

They really really do try - but this place is chaos. Always overbooked. They don’t follow up well (they will call you 1 million times but will forget to tell you to schedule a follow-up). We have two kittens that they didn’t even mention getting spayed and neutered in time to make an appointment. We have 6 animals here and they can never look up my fiancé by his phone number. One time we called when the highway was shutdown (we live over an hour away from all locations) to ensure we could still make our appointment an hour late - they told us to come in anyway and then turned us away at the door. I tried to upgrade my cats membership less than a month in - they denied me saying I had to pay the entire year up before upgrading. I paid over $700 out of pocket and the next time we came in they tried to upsell a membership upgrade for the same cat ????‍????????. Anyway - All inclusive membership is useful but it comes at a price in terms of organization, order, and service. Update: called to confirm that all of my animals were up to date on their vaccines - I was assured they were all fine until next year. Turns out THEY MISSED THE FELV VACCINE FOR MY KITTENS. That’s a life or death mistake. Not. Happy.

They do an amazing job are patient and give great advice. They are very kind to the animals and you can tell they actually care.

Been with Banfield Hospital, inside PETSMART in Brighton for almost 4 years. The staff is amazing, caring, informative and clearly love what they do...taking care of our lil furry companions. Thank you for taking care of my doggies! ????????

Great service. Caring staff. Took great care of my dogs. Good preventative care plan options. ***Why they got 4 not 5 stars***Severly lacking any price transparency for prescriptions and services not covered under the plans, making this pet hospital system less user friendly for seniors and people with fixed income. I was charged over $16 for a seven pill prescription which would have been $6.75 from a local pharmacy. This is not the fault of the staff.

My dog had to be dropped off for his appointment as they would not allow me in because of Covid 19. Apparently this is an excuse to just load up pets and get to them when its convenient and make him sit in a cage for hours. Its been 3 hours and my dog is just now being seen because the dr had other things to do. This shows NO respect for my time or for my pet who was already extremely stressed by being here. I will be canceling my membership for my dog and my sons and we won't be back. To cancel my wellness plan will cost almost $500! when it just renewed a week ago!! NEVER AGAIN..

Absolutely LOVE this vet clinic ❤️ Nala and I absolutely love this clinic and the people who work here. They always get us in and out quickly and it's definitely worth the $35 a month for everything that's included! I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family with fur babies ❤️

I have taken my dog here for years. They were always great in the past. However today I took him in for a routine annual check up, teeth cleaning and vaccination. He has now been puking the whole day and crying (which he never does). He was perfectly fine before going there today. They will be hearing from me.

Taylor at Brighton Banfield’s really came through for Cookie today. Cookie is an elderly cat who stopped eating and drinking Saturday. There were no appointments available so Taylor checked Cookie’s chart and saw that Dr Miller wrote that I could be trained to give Cookie fluids. She checked with Dr Korman and I got training and the fluids and equipment necessary to hydrate her. This was so unexpected and wonderful. Cookie and I did not have to go to an ER where they don’t know her and her old kidneys! Thanks for going the extra mile Taylor!

The doctors really care! They take time to explain everything to me. And I know that is not easy. They have really made caring for my pets easy.

I took my new kitten Artemis here and every single person I've talked to that works here is so kind. They are very informative and they take very good care of my sweet little boy. Would recommend to anyone!

Very nice Dr and staff. Was there for dental cleaning and x-rays. Ended up joining their monthly medical plan because it was cheaper then dental stuff alone, plus includes other stuff for a year like shots and check ups. Dog dental care is unfairly high everywhere. I called 6 places before settling here. It wasn't cheap, but cheaper than others. My dogs care was good. I would come again.

If I had time to write dozens of positive reviews for this clinic, I would. I recently had a medical emergency with my 3 month old puppy and the Brighton Banfield quite literally saved the day. They were able to see my dog IMMEDIATELY and went above and beyond to make sure I was informed and my dog was cared for as best as possible. I have nothing but utmost appreciation for Dr. Miller, she talked me through everything she was doing for my puppy, step-by-step, and ensured I was comfortable with everything that was happening. I received multiple follow up calls from the satff to check in on how my dog was recovering and I felt extremely supported and valued. I am truly blown away by this Banfield and if it was up to me, everyone would get a raise!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My family and I have to move to New York in the next few weeks, and we are certainly sad for our pets to be leaving the care of Dr. Miller and others at Banfield in Brighton. She and and a couple of other veterinarians and the technicians have been taking care of our pets for over 5 years now. They have always been professional, knowledgeable, sincere, and polite to all of us. Dr. Miller has been there for our family in times of loss for a couple of our cats, all the way to adding new additions to our furry family. We cannot thank Dr. Miller enough for all that she has done. We highly recommend Banfield for your pet(s)’ needs.

Do not bring your pets to this terrible set of vets. It all started when I brought in a stray kitten I found on the road. On Friday evening I was told by a vet who couldnt even properly sex the animal that I should be feeding a special diet, giving it so and so medication and that they werent able to do any test work due to the cats poor state. I was hopeful enough to agree to this and start trying to treat the little kitten. Less than 48hrs later I had a revisit sunday AM at 10:30... upon arrival I was brought into an exam room and essentially told I need to put the cat down. I was very upset at the time and didnt think clearly. They offered to do this as charity for me and that seemed ideal. However there was still money spent on the previous visit... where I was given hope and told I can help this cat live.... very very disappointed. One vet gives you hope the other... kills it. I do not recommend anyone bringing there pets here. Terrible place I regret every walking in with the stray I found
