INCOMPETENT!! They should have never sent my dog home, she should have been sent straight to the ER. Instead, they sent her home with a bottle of antibiotics!! She died the next morning, after we took her to the ER vet. If I could give negative stars I would. NEVER BRING YOUR PET HERE

I really wanted to like this place. We are new in the area and I thought the positive reviews were good. We will not be back. I brought my Akita and Corgi in for boosters and a nail clip. Get home and go to take out my corgi and there’s blood all over her paw, the seat, her leash, etc. Bring her back and then clean it up and put numbing cream on it to stop the bleeding. No bandage. When I asked what happened, I was told she was wiggly. What the hell kind of answer is that? I’ve never had an issue in all the places I’ve brought her for nail clippings. All I got after coming back was attitude and lame excuses. Had to ask for a refund and received it but with a lot of huffy attitude. Very disappointed. Oh and the vet is the one who clipped her nails. Or so I was told…. Do better.

DON'T bring your rabbit here!They may do ok with dogs and cats,but other than changing her litter box,the greens I gave them to give to her once a day were basicly untouched.Overfed with her regular food and underfed with her hay.Receptionist was nice and made a list of her care when I dropped her off...someone must have thrown it away.Curt at Dog gone acres in Farmington takes in rabbits (few do),He's more expensive,but they get much better care.Dog gone acres are closed every year last week of September through first week of October,or I wouldn't be writing this.

Friendly compassionate and help me.thru every step of my dogs process of letting him pass. It is hard to see your pet go and having a vet help with everything.They were great thank you

Actually They are all the good things one can select. My cat loves his doctor, They are very reliable, They really listen to what pet owners have to say. Just cant say enough good about them.

Do not board your animals there. Just don't. I boarded my birds for the weekend and they were kept in dirt, no one changed the bedding, the food bowls were gross, they never chopped the fruits as they said they would, water was disgusting, cages were disgusting and one of them came back with a BROKEN foot! I had to take to an emergency hospital.

The Doctors and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about cats. The vets get you in and out with little stress to your cat. Everyone makes sure you know about the rebate programs for preventive meds, which saves you some money in the long run.

Tranquil country setting. Clean & professional without being clinical and austere. Very efficient! They worked remotely with the pet's owner and got my furry friend in the same day for surgery. Left with a happier, healthier elderly feline and very clear outpatient instructions for me to follow. It was a positive experience. I also learned they are one of the clinics that works with Katsnips.org spay & neuter nonprofit. If anyone is trying to decide what clinic to choose when applying for a katsnips voucher, I recommend Brookside!

First time coming to this clinic and it was a positive experience. Relatively easy to find, located in the country down a dirt road. It's worth noting that despite the road being dirt it is smoother and better maintained than most city streets. The setting is relaxing and pleasant, both outside and in the clinic. The clinic is spacious, clean, professional without feeling like a dispassionate, cold, hospital. The staff and Doctor were both welcoming, efficient & knowledgeable. It was an effortless experience and most importantly a positive surgical outcome for a furry friend! Thank You to everyone at Brookside ????

Best emergency pet surgeon around! Dr. Nancy Smaltz offers short notice and same day surgical visits that may not even require an overnight stay if you're lucky.

Staff was great, caring and compassionate. My dog has very bad anxiety but It was the best vet visit we've had in years!!

Staff is fantastic,they really all love animals. I always get lots of clear details of treatment plan,and have opportunity to ask lots of questions. Would highly recommend this office !!!!

Their website says they take care of all animals, large and small, no matter how exotic... But that is not true. Please remove this from your website as it is false advertising.

Never a bad experience here, they seem to love all animals and the boarding is easily the best price around.

Unfortunately, I lost my Austin Dog. But I couldn't have asked for better people. The vet was awesome, and the young man that helped was obviously an dog lover. They comforted my baby the whole time. Then there was Cindy. She was an angel. I don't know if she understands how much it meant to have her there with me. I can never thank them enough. I can never put into words what Cindy means to me, along with the entire practice. Thank you all so much!!! We love you all!!!

Do NOT board your pet here. I know it’s cheap but it is not the best for your pet. They will not get enough exercise. There food will not be kept in a cool dry place and it’s an unsafe environment. Warning.

They love my kitty as much as I do and they take great care of her!

I took my two kittens in for spaying/neutering Aug 2018. The staff and Dr were caring, efficient, and thorough. They were able to schedule me an appointment within a couple days of my call. They clearly went over the pre and post surgery instructions with me. My only complaint is that the facility could use some upgrades.
