Just called and they seemed very unprofessional and rude and didn't know what they are doing. I just don't feel right taking my dog there

Borderline negligent. We took our senior rescue dog for some dental work several months ago. He was in bad shape when we adopted him, and we knew he needed major work and extractions. I had half a dozen questions for the doctor that I "passed on" through the front desk, and after waiting over an hour, Dr. Grewal spent less than 5 minutes talking to me about ONE of my questions, going into very little detail, and transferring me quickly back to front desk to cash out without giving me ANY time to ask questions. Then when we came back for his extraction appointment, they didn't do bloodwork beforehand (or if they did, they didn't give me details...either way, major red flag) and didn't give me any information about the teeth they took out, or the 4 teeth he had left (all canines). Flash forward to now, after he lost one of his remaining canines, a different dental vet ended up having to remove all remaining teeth, and they let us know he had oral nasal fistulas, as well as complete rot in his bottom tooth. They let us know the previous doctor (Healing Care) ABSOLUTELY should have seen this, and either fixed it, or communicated with us about it. This has been causing him serious discomfort for months, which we were unaware of because of the absolutely inexcusable lack of communication from Dr. Grewal. I can't believe any animal care facility would neglect to tell us they're sending us home with a dog who is still in major need of medical care, and in pain. Especially to have so little compassion or consideration for an older rescue dog, it's truly astounding. But hey, it was cheap. So, one star for the price I guess.

I just called this place to ask about the cost for puppy exam and cost for vaccines. The lady that answered the phone was rude ,while I am in the process of talking, she was constantly cutting me off mid sentence. At the end of the conversation, she IMMEDIATELY said bye and hung up , did not bother to ask if I had any other questions. I REFUSE to give my money to an establishment that has rude people. The front line customer service reps sets the tone.

I highly recommend healing care for your dogs vet needs. They have taken great care of my dog over the last 5 years+. I have been coming here since they first opened. Dr. Grewal is very caring towards my dog and is practical, realistic, and affordable. Sometimes I have to ask a lot of questions because she is quick and to the point when explaining but she is courteous and patient with me. Sometimes it is a little busy and a longer of a wait, but if you have dogs with anxiety or issues just explain that and they are very accommodating and understanding. Covid protocol has been great. It is Christmas Eve and my dog split her nail and they let me come right up. My rescue puggle and I can’t thank them enough for all their care through the years.

Great place for last minute appointment. Also a great place for unnecessary fees and services. I've also had to come here for last minute emergencies, both times there are random expensive fees I'd have to ask them to remove and both time the problem didn't go away so I eventually had to go to another vet an pay again to Heal my pets. Proceed with caution

1- I was not allowed to go in with my pets to keep my eyes in them. (Probably covid restrictions) 2- communications with the vet and staff is horrible, I asked for the vet treatment notes so I can submit claims to my pet insurance, staff told me : this vet doesn't write notes. When I called and complained, they gave wrong notes, mixing up 2 cats treatments. After driving twice for 40 mins back and forth, I ended up stuck with paying around 510 dollars out of pocket because I couldn't file claims.

This place is horrible. Made an appointment for my very sick guinea pig only to get there and them say they don’t take them on the day they scheduled.

If you love your pet do not trust Dr. Grewal with your them! Please read through this entire post before considering booking an appointment at Healing Care. When me my girlfriend and our German Shepherd moved into the area a few years back while everything was in person we expressed our concerns about the discharge coming from our dogs eyes. After a very brief exam we were told it’s normal and there’s nothing to worry about. We weren’t sent home with meds we just trusted that she was a doctor and knew what she was doing. A year later not only was there discharge coming from our girls eyes she now developed a white mark over one of her corneas. We took her in for her wellness check up at Healing Care this visit was curbside. The doctor clearly over books herself. She was short and rude over the phone. Again, we were told that she gave our dog a full exam and that there were no concerns. She gave our dog her vaccines and sent us on our way. This year me and my girlfriend agreed it was time to get a second opinion since the discharge continues and now both of our dogs eyes have little white marks over them. Yesterday at our new vet our baby was quickly diagnosed with Pannus. Not only did the technician suspect it was Pannus but the doctor did too at first glance and upon further inspection. We were told in detail about this disease. This is an auto immune disease which is common among the German shepherd breed. If Pannus goes UNTREATED it will eventually BLIND your dog. After knowing the signs and reviewing pictures of my pet it is clear that she has had it for YEARS. Due to Dr. Grewal’s NEGLIGENCE my dog will likely have PERMANENT DAMAGE to her vision. I beg every pet owner to take their pets somewhere else for their safety and well-being.

I took my dog here and the doctor is very unprofessional. She has no consideration for others time. They had my dog for almost 2 hours because she was an hour late. And she also refuses to give a prescription for heartworm because she doesn’t believe in online pharmacies. But she charges $150 for the heartworm medicine that my dog needs and can get the same exact medicine for $50. So why would I pay her 3 times more. And she’s rude! Worst experience ever and I was referred to her.

Thank you to the Dr. Grewal and staff for such compassion on one of the hardest days of my life. My sweet girl gave me 11 wonderful years and will never be forgotten, nor will the care she received during the last hour of her life.

Hands down the absolute best! Doc treated my baby like she was his own. I told him he was born to do this! 2 other vets recommended I put my almost 11 year shi poo down.... Dr AW saved her Life!!!! I am forever grateful! Was very affordable compassionate clean respectful and they take their time to make sure "Pet Parents" understand whats going on. The staff is amazing as well! They are an awesome team! I THANK GOD FOR THEM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AW ANIMAL HOSPITAL!????????????????????????

They will milk every dime they can get from you. She will base her diagnosis on what you tell her and not an actual medical examination. They said I needed and allergy spray for $38, so I bought it. They then called me back to say they gave me the smaller, less expensive bottle by mistake. They never even offered me the smaller bottle in the first place. When I asked for a return of the difference they said no, we will put that on your account. As if I'm ever going to set foot in there again. So they get to keep the extra money I spent on the smaller bottle I was never offered. Worst Vet experience ever. Gave it 1 star cause zero wasn't an option.

For vaccinations and minor incidents with your pet the place is fine. But I would not recommend it for serious problems with your pet.

Update: I can't even escape the issues. Healing Care got a request from the new vet for records and wouldn't respond to new vet. Finally sent them after I personally called twice. They are outdated and missing the blood work we needed. Call and ask for that and they will " have to do some digging around" to find the blood work we did this past spring.... So there's another $130 for new blood work. Thanks, guys. Also we got one of two people when we call and one is incredibly rude despite me still not having even a hint of an attitude. So bizarre. Staff seem genuine and kind. But organization and management is pretty bad and clearly they are overbooking. We have not managed to have a visit without pretty egregious disorganization. One of our dogs never got the right gender on paperwork despite bringing it up and correcting several times and lacking the identifying parts. There's always a mix-up with treatments. I got all the instructions for a neutering after we got a dental cleaning... And afterwards we are pretty sure they chipped a tooth down to the root and said nothing about it. And no matter when you book your appointment, which they will pick the time, you will be guaranteed to wait at least a half hour to drop off and a half hour to pickup AFTER you call to let them know you are there. Often 45 minutes or more. I 100% understand covid procedure and that it will make delays. But it is clear as day they are understaffed for what they take on. Perfect environment for mistakes that can cost lives. We are sad to say we just can't fathom going here anymore.

Double check their work. They miss stuff and you won’t find out about it until later and don’t offer to fix their mistakes. Also if you bring more than one animal they can mistake treatments so be sure to label them

Our cat was born feral when we rescued her off the streets as a kitten. Shes the sweetest baby to us however she gets very anxious and scared of anybody else and can get aggressive so getting her seen for a problem was always a huge worry. They got her an appointment when everyone else was saying it would be a month or more when she really needed to be seen. They were able to treat her and did such a good job. She was not anxious or upset when she came home. She means the world to us, so them treating her so well meant the world. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years. It was great at first. The last 2 years have been horrible though. She took on way to many clients. She is very short and rude when you ask questions. The vet sounds exhausted on the phone. Not to mention they never respond to chewys attempts to confirm vaccinations. So I can get some medicine cheaper than they offer at the office. I will not be going back.
