you can't go in and really see what they do with your pet !! treatments too expensive, lack of professionalism........

Soo helpful in a stressful, changeable situation!!!!

Very reassuring when my puppy was sick, and so kind to animals that all my dogs love them despite the necessary indignities of veterinary treatment.

I don’t think Dr. Cusick remembers this, but I brought my Pomeranian who’s now 15, to WAH for the first time 14.5 yrs ago for a broken leg. She was just 6 months old. I was living in NY at the time and I unfortunately broke my leg a week later so we moved back to Watertown while we both healed. I don’t think at the time I knew what a great vet was until I took my pom there to be treated. Fast forward 10-12 years and a few pets later, we are back at WAH! My pom Hazel and her sidekick rescue brother Jett are regulars there (there’s always something!) and we all can’t say enough about WAH! Unfortunately I just moved to RI so it’s not as convenient for me to bring both of the dogs to WAH. But because I love the staff and think Dr.Cusick is awesome at what he does, I’ve decided to keep bringing Hazel since she’s older and I don’t want to stress her out even more (the move). You won’t be disappointed with the service they provide! The prices are comparable as well.

I can not believe how caring, warm and so professional Dr.Cusick is, we just started bringing our 14mo.German Shepard here after having a bad experience with our first vet and it’s the best decision we made. Dr.Cusick spoke to me before AND after the appointment explaining what was done and answered all my questions. I know our pup is in good hands with Dr.Cusick who truly cares about animals.

I'm very pleased with my experience at Watertown Animal Hospital. Brought my guinea pig in for a skin problem. Dr.Cusick was kind, gentle, and very thorough in his examination. I left with some medicated towelettes to apply, and they are doing a fungal culture to clarify the diagnosis. The visit was kinda pricey, but most vet visits are these days, and I'm satisfied that the visit was well worth the dough.

My initial impression was not 5 stars. As a fellow pet/ family member owner relinquishing my girl at the front door didn't settle well with me, mostly because it took me by surprise. I would have preferred to know up front that I wouldn't be allowed inside. That I would be on the phone outside fielding a series of questions about what brought us there and again, not going inside with my girl. Beyond that, when the Dr did call me he was very informative. Didn't do anything without explaining up front charges and sounded as though they really cared about my girl and her issues. I didn't have a financial point of comparison to give an opinion on cost, but in today's times, it doesn't hurt to shop around, it won't make your love for your family member any less than if you paid a robber's rate. Lastly, I had to wait 2 week's for an appointment, so just be prepared if a similar circumstance arises for you.

Very thorough and nice. Not all vets like bulldogs but he is great with mine.

I have been taking my pug here for 6 years. Old style Veternary personal service with latest technology. The diagnosis of ailments and solutions have always been spot on.

What a quack! Started arguing with me about feeding my cat raw chicken, and faltered when I asked him when simplest questions about nutrition.

Skilled, knowledgeable, experienced, welcoming and comforting to my dog. Hydraulic examination tables with built in scales minimize lifting animals, which mine hates. Their staff helpful, informative and the office functions on time. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Cusik has been taking care of our dogs and cats for over 20 years. He is a brilliant vet, with not only a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) but he also has a Ph.D in Animal Physiology. One of the great things about Dr. Cusik is that he personally knows the very best specialists in every field of Veterinary Medicine.

great neighborhood service, staff is super helpful and caring. They are able to do some advanced tests on site for less stressful aging-cat care, and they are very thorough with upcoming-visit reminders, lab results and general follow-up calls on visits.

Dr Cusik has been talking care of my pets for nearly 25 years. He is one of the smartest, most honest DVMs I have ever known. He holds two doctorate degrees, and is a past president of the Mass Veterinary Society, so knows every specialist in the business

I have been taking our dogs to Dr. Cusick for many many years. As a physician, I would not go anywhere else. A wonderful doctor and the best of care.

I highly recommend Dr Cusick! He has cared for our dog and cats for the past 12 years, and is one of the best vets we have ever been to. He is extremely knowledgeable, and keeps up to date with all the latest developments and innovations. That being said, he is conservative and I completely trust when he tells us to wait until something is tested a bit more, or when he recommends something new. Our animals have consistently had the best of care from him. We found Dr Cusick when our dog's breeder recommended him, and after the first checkup we switched all our cats to him from a Cat Only practice.

The Dr. and the people who work there are the best. They take incredible care of my pets and are very professional. Dr. Cusick is the best if you need a correct diagnosis for your pet or just incredible care. His support staff is great. I would never bring my pets anywhere else.

Just came back from an appointment with my cat. Everything about this place was nice. It looked very clean and homey, the assistants were great and patient with my terrified-of-everything kitty. It was great to have such a concerned and caring vet like Dr. Cusick. He was gentle with my cat and very thorough in his explanations and answering my questions. The prices he quoted me for a full dental workup were a lot less than I was expecting for such a nice hospital. I'm only sad I didn't find this place earlier :)

These people are the best. They took care of my animals for 30 years.

Outdated equipment, unfriendly staff, abusive to pets. Three reasons why I gave this place just one star. Went there with my lab, vet wouldn't get on the floor to look at his paw. Instead, struggled to force dog onto table which made him scared. Pee stains on the floor. Seriously, what vet has carpet in the exam rooms!?!? Magazines and information (e.g. packets, flyers, posters) were all from mid '90s. And who charges you to create a file in the computer? New customers beware!
