This place is amazing, the staff & vets are so pleasant and friendly. The prices are very fair, a lot cheaper than an Er visit. They did a great job w/my dog Sunny. I would highly recommend this urgent care location if u need help for ur furbabys!! I went to urgent care tonight w/my dog Sunny, she is in remission from Lymphoma and every little thing worries me that her cancer will return. We went there and found out my dog has a yeast infection. I've been to petmedic u.c. many times now & everytime the staff is extremely pleasant & helpful. The vets are amazing & I'm always happy with the services they provide. They are cheaper & in my opinion better than any ER. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended!!

My first time taking my sweet dog to pet care urgent care in Watertown They took him right away curbside only due to COVID policy I made an appointment online within 15 minute after asking me about his history and medical questions the vet tech was kind enough to take him out of the car for me since I can’t pick him up and the dr was very kind and answered all my questions they took care of his needs right away. I had a very pleasant experience and he looks and feel better already he turned out to have an ulcer in his cornea they gave him meds and a cone to protect his eye from pawing at it I would definitely go back again the quickest ER urgent care wait I ever had Thank you Cyndi W

I went to PetMedic this evening for my sick cat. I had a truly remarkable experience, they were extremely helpful when I phoned regarding the details of how I need to register and check in. Even better this was all done via text after the initial phone call. They are doing contact free examinations, and while I had to wait in the car for a bit it was definitely worth it. The admission staff, tech vets, and the veterinarian were all wonderful. They were appreciatively conservative in their approach, and rather than try and recommend or push multiple expensive procedure, they suggested a wait and see approach with medication in the interim. Payment was done via a messaging option, which made it extremely easy. A big thank you to the team I would recommend going to PetMedic for any urgent care needs for your animals.

I had an excellent experience here! My senior (but young at heart) pupper was limping badly but not an emergency or due to any accident or acute injury and my vet had no openings. I got on the waitlist for an appt (there weren’t any) and called when they opened to ask if they’d take walking. They called a half hour later to have us come over. We didn’t wait long and they saw him, took great care of him, took xrays (with my permission), and sent us home with pain relief. They’ll forward on to my regular vet tomorrow and I’ll consult with her further. They were accommodating, respectful, and fairly priced. I’d definitely recommend!

My 13 year old came down with a skin infection for unknown reasons. PetMedic took me in right away. Evaluation/meds. Treated mine like a long term patient. Highly recommended.

I brought my cat here earlier this month after she had not been eating or drinking for a few days. The intake was smooth, and Dr. Nir was incredibly thoughtful and explained the possible causes and plans for care depending on the results of different tests. My cat was in and out pretty quickly, and she started eating and drinking again on her own that same night. I would highly recommend them to others, and would go there again myself.

They are wonderful highly recommend them. Midnight doesn't like many people but she allowed them to take care of her. She was seen twice 2 different vets and both times the communication was excellent. The vet tech was excellent too.

Very pleased with the service rec’d. They were able to diagnose pup and get her started on a treatment plan! So happy they are available on a holiday weekend Sunday. Would definitely recommend!

My poor senior dog had a little limp so we brought him in. They were nothing but kind and wonderful! The whole thing was very affordable, the consultation was $120. Way better than most places. We were able to walk away with our prescription and medicine in hand and my little baby is feeling much better already!

I’m new to the area, and my bull terrier mix started having stomach issues before I’ve been able to get in to a vet. After too much googling her symptoms, I found out about PetMedic and ended up getting more emotional than I anticipated explaining what was happening and wondering if I should come in. The person on the phone was absolutely sympathetic and empathetic, consulted with a medical professional and let me know my dog was likely OK until they could see her the next day. When I went in, the staff was kind, thorough, and skilled. They went above and beyond to explain what was wrong, helped me find a food that might agree with her better, and did it all with authentic smiles and attentiveness. Also, the prices are more than reasonable. I expected to pay at least double what I did for urgent care. I really appreciate them not gouging, which really proves the kind of people and business they are. Plus, everyone told me my girl was a very good dog and absolutely adorable, which further proved their expertise. ☺️????????

I am so lucky to find this emergency vet clinic. Made an appt in the morning for the early evening. Care seemed great. Efficient, thoughtful. Wonderful experience.

We love PetMedic! I took our kitten to a local vet and they said she just had earwax but no infection and they cleaned it out. The next day she was so bad exhibiting signs of vestibular disease. We took her to PetMedic they discovered she did have an infection and they treated her with antibiotics and ear drops. She also may have a ruptured eardrum (possibly caused by the other vet). PetMedic made a huge difference in our kittens life. The staff was phenomenal and showed a true concern for my kitty! I would highly recommend then highly. We are so grateful to them!

We had a great experience from start to finish. We were on the waitlist for our dog Buddy yesterday, a staff member called and said we could try a walk in, but unfortunately the only time we could make it over for was 8pm or later. An opening at 8pm popped up and the staff member remembered this and contacted us to get Buddy in for an appointment. He was having some eye issues. He saw Dr. Sakakeeny and though she knew something serious was wrong with eye, she is not an ophthalmologist so could not make a diagnosis. We have been struggling to get in to see Buddy's ophthalmologist or even see an ophthalmologist through emergency. Dr. Sakakeeny was kind enough to reach out to an ophthalmologist that she knows and get some pictures of Buddy's eye over to them, they were concerned and we were able to bring Buddy in through emergency at the hospital the ophthalmologist works at this morning. We got a diagnosis and a treatment plan and Buddy's eyes are on the mend. I can't thank Dr. Sakakeeny enough for going above and beyond for Buddy. I would highly recommend PetMedic.

Such a great experience here at PetMedic. My Frenchie cracked his dew claw and I was able to schedule an appointment online for about 3 hours after it happened. Arrived 10 mins before my appointment and they took him in right on time. Was in and out in less than an hour and they only charged me for half an exam fee since it was such a straightforward issue he was treated for. Would definitely go back for future issues and would also highly recommend! Thank you PetMedic for saving me time and money over an ER vet!

New to the area and haven’t set my pup up with a vet - and of course she gets into something she shouldn’t have! I called this clinic frantically and they calmly gave me direction on what I should do, and recommended I come right in. My pup is also very nervous and can be skittish with strangers - when the staff met me at the door, my dog went right in tail wagging. The vet called me personally with an update within 20 minutes, after giving my dog a medicine to make her throw up what she ingested. He kindly explained the procedure and reassured me my dog was fine. I figured I was going to receive a super expensive bill for the high quality care, but it was COMPLETELY reasonable!! When I met the staff at the door to pick up my dog (all within an hour!) she was wagging her tail and completely comfortable with the staff. I am so impressed and grateful for this place - I highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly, quickly diagnosed and treated my cat's condition. Process was smooth and efficient.

We were out of state and had a service dog emergency, this was the only clinic that would see us. PetMedic urgent care went above and beyond! The customer service, attention and medical care that our service dog recieved was excellent! Melissa the receptionist was very patient, friendly and professional. The Doctor and recieving staff were exceptional!The initial cost were explained up front and in the end were very reasonable for an urgent care. I highly recommended pet medic urgent care.

This review is for the dermatology division of pet medic. Dr. McKinney Zewe and her receptionist and tech are absolutely fantastic. My Boston terrier has had skin issues for her entire 4 years of life. Dr. McKinney Zewe provided more information about Mowgli’s skin condition and ways to treat it than any other vet had been able to provide since Mowgli was 7 weeks old. Not only that, but Dr. Zewe was extremely kind and considerate about the cost barriers associated with some of the suggested treatments, she clearly had no judgments about my financial situation. Please go here if your dog has ongoing issues with their skin or allergies! Her and her team are so knowledgeable and let Mowgli leave with a toy from their toy basket, which Mo picked out herself of course! I’m excited to finally have Mowgli on a strict plan to clear up her skin, and we are both excited to go back in a month. Thank you petmedic dermatology team!

Fantastic experience ! The staff is very caring and they run very efficiently. So grateful to have this as an option. Our regular vet and the animal hospital were too busy to see our poor puppy who developed a sudden limp. Dr. Gabree is very thorough and kind. They had our puppy fixed up with a solid plan and we were on our way. They email receipts, you can book online or over the phone. Definitely recommend????

Absolute best vet experience ever. Making a day of appointment was easy. Check in and hand off was a breeze! The Dr called with treatment plan within 20 of checking him in and we were home with meds within an hour. I can’t recommend them enough.

I brought my dog here for a hot spot when our normal vet was fully booked and couldn’t see us. My dog is very rambunctious but they were so patient with him and gave him the best care. They communicated his care plan clearly and plainly, they were transparent with their prices, and efficient with their time. Thanks so much to the whole team for taking such good care of my dog!

We had an awesome experience at PetMedic! Their patient intake system was extremely efficient and safe. They showed a lot of care for our cat and were so friendly; they immediately put us at ease. Very reasonably priced as well for urgent services. We will certainly be returning if our cat ever needs urgent care again!

The people at petmedic are so kind and knowledgeable. My dog is not the best patient and they treated her with so much kindness and compassion that I don’t see at many other veterinary practices. It was nice to not feel like my dog was being judged for being scared at the vet. They were able to figure out what was wrong with my dog and get her the help she needed. I have been to Pet Medic a few times and they have been great every time.

They took IMPECCABLE care of my cat. Dr Sakakeeny is world class. The vet techs WORLD CLASS. Jen at the front desk was incredible. Long story short I moved to Waltham for work and my cat had a stress induced bladder infection and THIS WOMAN was the only person who could calm me down. We went a few times The other doctor was good.

Great service! Constantly checked in (since I couldn’t go inside due to Covid). Explained everything, were empathetic, responsive, and clearly knowledgeable and competent.
