I love VCA MetroCat! They are busy now but very helpful over the phone and extremely accommodating, offering to board my cat for the morning when my appointment was moved to a workday. Dr Power is very friendly and they made my nervous cat comfortable!

I would recommend VCA to any "cat parent!" We had our first visit and the staff was great supporting my cat with her anxiety(and mine). Staff is very knowledgeable and thorough. I received test results the following day! At the end of Keaat's appointment staff gave her toys and treats which she loves :) Thanks VCA!

Dr. Power is the best! I have worked alongside her as a vet tech as well as bringing my own animals to her for care. She truly cares about what she does and is wonderful with her patients. Pumpy, Bean and I consider her family to us. The rest of the staff at MCH are equally amazing! Shannon, Nancy, Kathy, Tyler, and all staff. Thank you for all you do! This place is shameful. I have an asthmatic cat, already diagnosed with paperwork in hand and prescription in hand. My cat was having an asthma attack and this place was unwilling to provide a refill on our meds without an extremely inflated exam first... They charge $80 for blood pressure and temp and hide the charge under a "consultation fee" btw, so I'm sure I'd be looking at $500 if it was a penny.... Saying it's unethical. Unethical?? You know what is REALLY unethical? Their extremely inflated rates and refusal to help an animal in need simply because just doing the right thing wouldn't make them enough money. Avoid this money grubbing unethical pseudo-caring cat hospital at all costs.

Excellent Doctors, nurses and all stuff! They make sure what is going on with my cat health condition first, then gave me the best medical option. How they are working is totally high professional work! Thank you for taking care of my cat, Dr.Amelia! My cat is very happy now.

I have been bringing my cat here for years. For his last check up I brought my cat to the animal shelter in NH because I was living up there during COVID. VCA Metro Brookline assured me there would be no issue when i bring him back here. My cat has fleas and is bringing them into the house. I called them today and they will NOT fill a prescription for him because he didn't get his last check up there. He. has. FLEAS. I am completely disgusted and will never take my cat back here again.

Due to the current Covid Crisis, seeing the Vet here was impossible. They are booked with appointments for the next 2 wks ahead. My poor Sammy took ill over the weekend, and now I must find some other service (emergency) for him.

The staff is very helpful with answering questions over the phone without having to schedule an appointment. When I did need to bring my kitty in for an appointment, the whole experience with the new COVID procedures went very smoothly. Dr Power is extremely kind and you can tell she cares a lot about the cats. My kitty was so relaxed after she came out of her appointment, I was amazed :)

Amazing place to take your cat! Staff is friendly and professional

Everyone is super nice here. My only minor complain would be not enough time to ask questions to a vet due to covid situation. We are not allowed to go in due to covid and the vet calls you after she/he finishes examination, which is completely understandable. I had so many questions to a vet since it was my first time having my new kitten to a vet and I am a first time cat owner, but the vet had to hang up on me soon saying she has to go now. Other than that, great experience there.

Went here for the first time with my girlfriend and her cat. Was going for a routine checkup. The appointment ran 25 minutes late but ONLY because of an emergency euthanasia; the receptionists/vet techs were nice enough to inform us about that shortly after our appointment was supposed to start so we weren't left wondering. The lobby is small but has free coffee and water, as well as a lot of treats you can buy for your cat. Because it was our first time there, we were able to save over $80 for a free exam. Just go on the website and show the receptionist the coupon on your phone and they will apply it. The staff was very friendly and informative and the routine shots were very quick and easy.

Great service, friendly, and if they can handle my crazy cat, then they can handle any cat.

Great customer service and great doctors. The only issue is that they don't let anyone inside, and if you buy something (like cat food), they won't physically hand you the bag. They will put in on the sidewalk for you to pick it up. So they're obviously a little crazy with the Covid restrictions.

Everyone here is wonderful. They really care about my cats, and are knowledgeable about anything you might need.

Dr Kaplan is amazing. I have been taking the cats to Dr. kaplan for over 10 years. I have always felt most comfortable. The staff is also wonderful. trust them fully , great place, great staff and GREAT doctor.

Kind vets and helpful staff!

Great staff! Very kind and knowledgeable. I trust them 100% with both my cats health. All around this is a fantastic vet who will treat your cat like their own. Taking the time to ask questions and get to know each cats individual quirks. Bonus, no doggos! So if that's an issue for your kitty, no need to worry. There is metered parking right out front as well as across the st.

This place is wonderful. I took my cat to see Jennifer Power while living in Boston and she and all of the vet techs seem to care so much for all the cats, including mine. The staff always informed me of any costs before doing anything, and refrained from prescribing my cat treatment that was too drastic for her condition. The base cost of an appointment is a slightly higher than the other vet I tried, but well worth it.

I can not say enough about the kindness, compassion and lovely nature of Dr. Oliver and her staff at Metro Cat. Sadly we had to put our cat down recently and I could not have asked for a more respectful experience. We will 100% come back when we are ready for our next furry family member.

Metro Cat Hospital is a solid cat only vet! If you have a cat, definitely consider taking them here. The vets and techs genuinely care about your cat(s) and do their best to keep your furry friends calm. The only caveat is the pricing for some medications. While I've found that while the vet fees are comparable to the MSPCA, some medications cost a bit more. The discrepancy is not enough to dock a star though.

We've lived in the city for a year, and would not take our two cats anywhere else! The staff is very friendly and empathetic toward both the cats and humans, and give great care. We've had nothing but overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Dr. Kaplan is very good with me...and our tabby. I'm a quintessential crazy cat lady and he is incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring with me. He's also very knowledgeable and the first vet our little monster/fury family member hasn't tried to bite and he's been there multiple time. It's pricey, but feline health care isn't something I want to take chances on or be cheap about. Knowing our cat is getting the best treatment is worth every penny.

Dr. Kaplan and the team are great at what they do and offer a warm, friendly environment for cats and their humans. They are pricey, though, and the budget-conscious might do well to get a second opinion before proceeding with an expensive treatment.

Dr. Kaplan and his kind and able staff have bee taking care of my feline family members for more years than I can remember. Their love and concern is overwhelming. I cannot imagine having my baby cats cared for by any other hospital. Thank you all!
