So happy to now be a part of this practice- compassionate, thorough, and built specifically with animal comfort in mind! Appointment was on time, prep and follow up was impeccable. Only downside is they do not work with Chewy for prescriptions (which may lead to increased cost of purchase since you need to go through their practice). All in all - so happy to be a newly integrated client of Heal!

I live 2 blocks away and so it is very convenient clinic for my girl. They are very responsive to all our emails and try to fit us into their schedule for random issues that just pop up. They are very nice when talking with us. I disagree with some things they have suggested, but overall I think they are great and are best in the area. One gripe is I treat my girl better than my children. They typically try to save me money by offering me less expensive options for things, but I'm a crazy person and will spend anything on my pup. So I wish they had a setting in their system for "crazy client" and just automatically did all the testing/expensive stuff lol

I cannot say enough about this Veterinary practice! We LOVE Dr. Leef, Jamie, Chelsea, and all of the staff are kind and helpful and clearly love animals. We got our puppy in July 2021 and have made multiple visits and phone calls to Heal since. They reply promptly to calls and emails, and they follow-up after each visit with details about the visit, and they follow up a few days later to see if everything is OK (for example, Harper was very itchy and they suggested we bring her in for a visit. They examined her and recommended we apply a foam mousse to the spot. A few days later they emailed to see how she was doing and she was much improved.) They are transparent about procedures and cost estimates. Our puppy got spayed today and they provided a detailed estimate a few weeks ago and clear and detailed discharge instructions today. I also really appreciated that Dr. Leef spoke with before and after the surgery to tell us what she was going to do and then a detailed description of how it went. My only complaint is that they recently closed the office to in-person visits so we have to drop our puppy at the door. In reality, I can't fault them for wanting to keep their staff safe from COVID and the office hasn't had to close down or lessen their hours due to staffing shortages. Again, we feel so lucky to have been able to have Harper be seen at Heal Veterinary Clinic!

Heal is the BEST! They return calls very quickly, follow up with emails of all the extremely informative technical info from appointments and phone discussions, and call back to check in on your baby after procedures or treatments. They’re such kind and caring people! ????

Can't rave about HEAL enough. They spend so much time with your animal , they don't push you for unnecessary products or procedures. If you want the best for you pet please make an appointment here.

Great experience(s) so far! My dog has been more relaxed here than any other veterinary office. There’s no slippery exam tables, instead every room has a cozy bed or couch for the animals to relax on. The vets don’t wear scrubs or lab coats that may intimidate your pet, they dress in normal clothing. They also take lots of time to make sure your pet is at ease before physically examining them. In my experience they’ve always let me know when something is “optional” (vaccines, lab work, etc.) which saves you money! By the end of the visit my anxious dog was laying down and very happy. So glad a friend recommended Heal to me!

Our favorite vet in Boston! They are incredibly kind, understanding and professional. They were even able to squeeze us in when my dog got bit at the park and needed a rabies booster. We come here for all our dog’s care and will continue to do so!

The vets and vet techs took such good care of my Spooky! She was more behaved for them than she is for me! Would definitely take her here again if she needs a doctor right away!

I love this vet and would recommend them to anybody! I started bringing my dog to Heal before the pandemic and the environment is like nothing I've ever experienced. They do everything in their power to make her feel comfortable and safe, like barn doors that close on the bottom but open on the top so she doesn't feel trapped, and doing the appointment at the dog's level with a bunch of cozy spaces. Dr. Kristie is super nice, and thorough. She and the front desk always answer all of my questions. They adapted with COVID swiftly, and my dog still feels fine going! I've never felt anything besides welcomed, safe, and they show they truly care for our pet. I couldn't imagine going any place else - and it makes sense why they have a waitlist :)

Love the Doctors and technicians. Everyone of them takes the time to thoroughly talk to you about what they see and what the treatment course is. Love the follow-up emails to check-in as well.

I first learned about Heal in mid-2020 when I was looking to move within Boston, and a friend highly recommended them to me. At that point my cat, Veevs, was healthy, and so I had no urgent need of vet care and went on their waitlist. A few months after I moved, it was time for a regular checkup (and maybe rabies vaccination? I forget) so I went in and had her looked at. At this time, all appointments are drop-off-and-wait, due to the pandemic, which was a little worrying (albeit warranted) for me to not be able to observe the new vet working with my bundle of fluff. Anyways, no issues came of the initial appointment, and things continued well with Veevs until March, at which point she had a serious health issue come up (of which I'll spare y'all the details), and we had to go back in to get her checked out. This time, she had a stool sample and was put on antibiotics, which unfortunately didn't help the issue, and some bloodwork came back normal as well. We're still in the process of resolving the issue. Okay, so that was the background. Nothing special, eh? Well here's the kicker. Every single step of this process, Dr. Kristie and her team have been excellent communicators. From when I was first put on the waitlist they were happy to let me know about how long I'd be waiting, until I finally came off of it and got my first appointment. She did an initial consult with me over zoom, which was much nicer than a phone call given that we couldn't talk in person yet, and every time I've emailed their front desk, I've gotten a quick response (often within an hour or two, and never more than a day). Well that's great for a healthy cat, you think, but there's more. When it came to the health issue that we're currently dealing with, Dr. Kristie has been AMAZING. I have some medical background on similar human issues due to my education and my personal life experience, and I make a point of asking a lot of questions. A LOT OF QUESTIONS. Like several minutes every in-person (from the car in the parking lot) interaction I've had with Dr. Kristie, and multiple paragraphs of email updates sometimes more than one time a day, often with complicated questions and concerns. Every single time I've raised anything, Dr. Kristie has addressed it. She's never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable for trying to understand what's going on and make the best decisions for my furry friend (unlike some past cat and human doctor experiences I've had). One time she even squeezed in an appointment for me (for the bloodwork), and clearly communicated ahead of time that she knows that I ask a bunch of questions, and she wants to be able to answer them but since she was squeezing me in that day, she wouldn't have time to answer them until the next day. There's more, but I could go on for much longer than the review I'd like to leave here. Needless to say, I think extremely highly of Dr. Kristie (and the front desk, and I'd assume everyone else at Heal). I have a lot of medical issues as a human, and strongly believe that Heal ranks in the top 5% of all medical offices I've been to for communication and transparency, and Dr. Kristie personally does as well for providers. (I note those separately because I find that the office and the provider are very different). So yeah, I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a new vet, you shouldn't hesitate to give them a call or email, and get over there as soon as you can/need to.

A fantastic vet clinic staffed with caring, knowledgeable and kind people. Their prices are very reasonable. The care is top shelf. It's clear, everyone from the front desk to the techs to the doctors themselves are 100% invested in listening to the customers and providing appropriate treatment or advice for our furry family members. They love animals and it shows. Highly recommend.

Heal takes most excellent care of all the big and small booboos of my 2 cats. They specialize on anxious animals and cater most excellently to my cats moods to reduce stress.

I wanted to get my dog's signed up one I've had for many years and a new dog I just adopted. I was told they aren't taking new clients and also don't have recommendations for an alternative. If you ask any human doctor for a referral, they always have more than one on-hand.

They are thorough, thoughtful, and give you lots of options for your pet's health and well-being. So happy to have them as a support for our pup who has unique medical needs

Absolutely the best vet around, we are very happy with the thorough care our puppy received. We were referred here after having an OK experience at a prior vet and are SO happy we made the switch. We begin with a teleconference and then when the issue was not resolved they immediately scheduled us for an appointment that day. The exam was thorough and efficient. We are so happy our puppy is going to get the best care and highly recommend Heal to anyone looking for quality care for your pet.

My dog and I love coming here. The people are so nice. They've sent us emails or calls to check in out of concern for my boy and it makes me feel like they actually care. I really appreciate all that they do at Heal. I highly recommend them.

We could not be happier with our experience with Heal. They took excellent care of our dog, and their services are thoughtful, personalized, and reasonably priced. Beyond that, their front desk is incredibly adept at communication. Any time we had a question big or small, we could email them and get a prompt and thorough response usually within 15-30 minutes. Our current dog is our first puppy, and they really took the stress out of knowing how to care for him throughout the first year of his life. We are moving out of state and sad to leave this office behind!

I literally can not say enough good things about the amazing staff and owners of Heal Veterinary Clinic. They are kind to not only their patients and their human families, but are extremely helpful when it comes to answering questions in a timely manner. They have been our go to for almost a year now and I'm thankful for every single time we need to schedule a visit as they are easy to work with when it comes to scheduling and are happy to accommodate an unexpected emergency visit when needed! They've been through it all with us from broken nails to swallowing corn cobs and needing emergency surgery and always check in to see how our babies are doing afterwards!! They know my dogs right when they walk in and always have a smile on their face and are ready to help in any way they can to accommodate our dogs needs. I would HIGHLY recommend our friends at Heal to both friends and family (and already have!)

We recently switched vets and could not be happier with our experience with Heal so far. We didn't know we could love a vet so much!! Our four year old vizsla usually hates the vet, and already feels right at home at Heal. The level of attention and quality of care is unmatched - we've received pictures, updates, and follow ups on all our visits so far. We just wish we made the switch sooner!

OH MY GOD. HEAVEN FOR PETS EVEN AT A VET. This was my first vet appointment for my black cat. We moved up from South Carolina so this was a huge change for us. The prices, as expected, are much more costly than what we are accustomed too in the South, but as is everything here in Cambridge area. But I don't even care - that's how impressed I am with them. They have an exam room only for cats so that the smells remain somewhat familiar and they do check out and check in in this exam room so that your cat isn't stuck in a waiting room with dogs. The vet tech and doctor came in and immediately sat on the ground to be with my cat for the entire appointment. From what they have told me, they try to be extremely transparent about their prices and their procedures. They talk prices of recommended treatments/procedures up front, let you decide, and will perform most procedures in the exam room with you unless you specify otherwise. I have three animals and I love them all so much and i'm pretty picky and judgy when it comes to how vets react to my pets and this was just an amazing atmosphere. I think this might be the vet my dog won't be terrified of, for once in his life. Worth the price in my opinion and am really excited to have all 3 babies taken care of here!

Extremely poor health care for animals, the technicians are not able to provide concrete aswers and diagnosis. Very rude to their clients and lack of empathy for animals as well as humans. I recommend to stay away

These guys are great. They were compassionate towards us and our sick cat and went out of their way to ensure that we were taken care of through some difficult times.
