I went in for a job interview and the people working seemed on edge and overstressed. they told me about how they’ve gotten many complaints about yelling at staff. the areas they keep the pets in is jarring. the dogs are stacked super close in tiny cages with barley enough space to move and big dogs are kept in the same cages as small dogs the outside area is tiny considering how many dogs there are. not to mention the small dogs and large dogs are kept in the same area they didn’t even have grass or real toys. DONT SEND YOUR DOG HERE

Great family to deal with. They are very understanding and work with my crazy first responder schedule during a pandemic. Love them

I absolutely love everyone at Skipton!!! My dog can be...well...challenging. She is dog-aggressive, which is not ideal at a daycare/boarder, but they are fantastic with her and make sure she still gets lots of love. Huge plus that they are attached to Kindness Animal Hospital as well. 15/10 would recommend. Seriously so lucky that we found Skipton!

Best Kennel in MA. Have been living my dog with them for more than 3 years on overnight stays when I need to travel and the puppy love it. The team is super respectful, responsive and flexible when I need or have some emergency. I'm super pick where I live my dog since he is not an easy breed to deal with and was luck to find this place

Skipton is the best! They take excellent care of my maltipoo. Aly and her mom always great us with a friendly face in the morning and they treat us like family. I can tell how much they love and care for the pups - they are Grade A professionals. Shout out to Kim, too who has taken amazing care of my dog since we was 2 lbs and 10 weeks old. I recommend them without hesitation!

They are very kind and good with your pets. Unfortunately, very little parking, however there is a shopping center across the street with available parking.

Skipton is amazing!! The staff make this place a 5 star! Our dog loves playing with the other dogs and spending thr day! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a daycare

The best place we have found for our boxer pit mix. They know how to take care of all types of dogs, the owner is a hugger! They treat you and the dogs under their care like family. The play area has a few dogs out together at a time so it's never an out of control crazy pack.

Being a business owner and dog owner – there are times that he needs some alternative care when he cannot attend work with me. I am extremely careful and persnickety when leaving a family member with someone else. I did a lot of research, interviewed several places and I wanted to share about my experience Skipton Kennel and their doggie daycare program. This is my first experience with needed a service like this because we recently got a new puppy. He has gone a few times at the Waltham location and in my opinion it is FANTASTIC and the staff is AWESOME. I was so impressed with the care and concern of the owner Karen for my new puppy. She asked all the right questions and quickly responded to my questions. The staff is also so attentive to my needs and more importantly my puppy’s needs. He has gone several times now and each time he has received the best care possible from all of them. He is active and gets to socialize, run, and play with other dogs/puppies with his same temperament. When I have picked him up he is calm, very relaxed and tired. He is never stressed but always happy to come home. This makes me feel very at ease leaving him in such a wonderful place. I am happy to recommend Skiption to anyone who would need a daycare service for their dog.

Great place for dogs (they will also take cats, bunnies, spiders) of all sizes. We put our dog with Goose and the team every time we travel. They really love dogs there!

They are really kind people and are doing a great job helping my pup get better with other dogs.

My dog has special needs and they manage him well. He comes and goes with a wagging tail. I know he feels loved when he stays with them.

My dog could not get better care than here. Everyone is loving to the pets. They are treated as members of their own families. Highly recommend Skipton!!!

We were nervous bringing our dog to a new kennel, since she's a rescue dog with some personality "quirks" and only gets along with a handful of other dogs. Karen and her team were unconcerned, and when we came to pick our pup she was FAR less stressed than when we've gotten her back from other places. Even brought her back a few days later for a nail trim which took 3 minutes! I now have zero hesitation booking my pup for her next stay when we have to be out of town.

I am obsessive about anyone who takes care of my dog. Karen and her team are simply exceptional at caring for and loving my dog while providing a safe, imacculate and fun home away from home where I feel comfortable bringing Bella. I have been taking Bella to Skipton for daycare and over night stays for nearly four years and there is no other place I would trust to take care of my dog.

We've taken our dog here both for daycare and overnight for close to ten years. Karen and her staff are treat the animals like family; I wouldn't trust anyone else locally with my dog as much as I do Skipton.
