Best Pets has been our vet ever since we moved to the area. They have always been extremely kind to our animals and have helped us through some difficult health problems over the years. We unfortunately had to let our cat go recently, and Best Pets could not have been more compassionate and caring throughout the entire process. While it’s always tough losing a pet, we wouldn’t trust any some else with our animals health and wouldn’t want anyone else to be there with us during the difficult times at the end. Thank you Heidi and team! We’re grateful to have you caring for our animals.

Dr Heidi saved my furbaby’s life. She was so caring to both myself and my cat. she helped us save his life in an emergency situation. All the front desk and techs are superb as well. They are all so compassionate and go through extra mile. I highly suggest this practice .

I cannot say enough good things about Best Pets. I have been bringing my (high maintenance) dog there for about 5 months. I am comfortable that he is in good hands. The vet we have been working with is very knowledgeable and through. They go out of their way. to help when asked. Twice in this short period of time they have gone above and beyond to help when I have been in a jam running. low on medications and/or food. I cannot begin to express how grateful I have been for their support.

I took my long hair chihuahua for a check up because she was not acting like herself. Well after a year with best pets they couldn’t figure it out, turns out she has severe allergies I switched her to a new doctor and the first appointment they knew it was allergies and fixed my poor chi. Why didn’t best pets treat her for this when they told me it was allergies yet couldn’t figure out how to treat her! they kept saying it was ear infections when it was not my poor chi went a whole year sick because Beat pets has no clue what their doing I wouldn’t recommend bringing any animal to them, ever!

We can't say enough about the team at Best Pets. We moved to the area from NJ in 2017 and were so worried about picking a good vet for our cats. From our first visit we knew we picked the best place possible! Dr. Tapscott is one of the most compassionate doctors we've ever met and her knowledge is amazing. She can explain the most complex health issues in a way that's so clear and understandable, and she's always been completely honest with our cats' health whether it be good news or bad. That's what a good vet should be, because in the end the only thing that matters is the truth about our pets' health and the best ways to make sure they live healthy and happy lives. Highly recommended!

My dog had a sore leg and they where able to see him and provide xrays and a plan of action with medication to assist him. The staff was upbeat informative and caring. The price I found to be reasonable and nothing was done until discussion with me and the reason why they wanted to perform the test they did. I found them compassionate and caring from start to finish and to me this is a big plus. Knowledge was detailed and informative to me so I could understand the issues that could arise

Dr. Bald is the best! We followed her from her last practice cuz my dog gets super waggly when she sees her, and also fell asleep in her lap during a exam once. She's really compassionate with dogs, and with their people, too, and definitely worth the drive. Also it can be hard to find a vet who gets pit bulls and loves them as much as Brittany does, and we really trust her.

I couldn't be happier..its a great place. Attentive,caring,friendly and the fees are competitive to other vets, if not better.

A wonderful vet. Have taken both of my pups here for dental cleanings and their annual check-ups. They always take the time to explain what is going on and they genuinely care about the well-being of the pets (rather than just making $$!). We’ve moved out of the area but still come here because it’s been that great of an experience.

We love Best Pets staff and especially Dr. Tapscott. We took our dog Molly here in 2013 for a really bad ear infection. Our previous vet just kept giving us pills to treat her ears, but Dr. Tapscott finally found an ear solution that works well. Our Molly is constantly getting into things she shouldn't, and any time I call to get an appointment, the staff find the time to squeeze me in for an appointment. Dr. Tapscott really cares about the animals, and the staff always treat my dog so well.

I have been brining my animals here for the past 6 years and I have never had a huge problem until today. Dr. Tapscott's was completely unprofessional and very rude . The prices have gone up as well and I just personally feel they do not care about their customers or the animals they are suppose to take care of and help . She only cares about money & over pricing people for services that were not even talked about. I will be taking my animals elsewhere and I suggest that everyone else does the same . Let’s make a point that you can’t treat people disrespectfully and still expect to keep a business going . Dr. Tapscott said I was rude to her receptionist over the phone and was very rude to me when she confronted me about it, and I know I was not rude at all , she said they record the phone call and I asked if I could hear the phone call because I know I was not rude and I even said I was sorry if her receptionist thought I was being rude but all I was trying to do was make sure that my dog was getting only his ears looked at and his nails trimmed , because in the past she likes to charge extra for services that you don’t need nor asked for. But of course that’s me being rude lol . I even tried to talk to her and tried to figure out how I was rude and she just cut me off in mid-sentence and walked away . Totally uncalled for and UNPROFESSIONAL! It’s sad that 6 years of loyalty I get treated like complete dirt . Can only imagine how she treats animals she is suppose to care for . It will be my mission to make sure that people know what kind of vet this woman truly is . Please your animals & you deserve so much better .

Best Pets is the best Veterinary Hospital in the Tewksbury/Wilmington area. The Vets and the staff are the best! As a patron you are always treated with respect and they offer great service! They are always available to us when they are needed. We used to go to another Vet in the area, but found them not to be accommadating in times of an emergency. Try Best Pets for all of your pets needs; they are the "Best"!!

I really appreciate Best Pets. It's easy to make an appointment online and they get back to you quickly. They were very thorough with our cat, Libby, and gave her great care. When our other cat, Charlotte, died, they were so kind and caring and even sent us a condolence card. I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve been bringing my 2 dogs to them for years now and they don’t disappoint. I had to write this review now because of my experience with them a few minutes ago. One of my dogs is anxious and requires a muzzle. With COVID, no one can go into the office so they come out to the parking lot and take the dogs in. They came out to take my dog Inside and within a few minutes came back out because they could tell he was so anxious they felt it was better if I was there to comfort him. So they ended up seeing him outside and I was able to be with him throughout his appointment. They are excellent and I would recommend them over and over.

I bring my cat Patches here who is going on 13 years old. Best Pets is so genuinely caring and nice from the time you simply call to make an appointment right on through to the doctor exam. They are interested in caring for your pet first & foremost and not just Immediately ordering expensive tests that may turn out to be unnecessary. Going to the vet can be traumatic for both pets and owners but right away you can see how much this place truly loves animals and that makes all the difference in the world. Best Pets will be my sweet girl Patches forever go to Vet and if you all love your animals as much as I do mine, you will make them your go to Vet too!

The Doctor and Vet Technicians are so kind and show how much they truly care. My second visit with my dog Jadoo, who had a mole that would not stop bleeding - second visit the Doctor preformed surgery to remove the infected mole from my dog and I am so grateful and thankful. And I am extremely happy that I and my dog have a Veterinarian Hospital that we can go to with confidence, knowing that no matter what, everything will be okay. I definitely recommend Best Pets to all because you not only feel the love and trust, you see it and receive it; true love for your pet and that's what one looks for in a Veterinarian Hospital. I started going to Best Pets Veterinary Hospital about 2 and a half years ago after I adopted my dog, Little Bandit. Originally I was just going to get Bandit's teeth cleaned, along with my cat's teeth, and continue with my previous vet, who was closer to me. However, I was so impressed with Best Pets Veterinary Hospital that I started taking my dog and cat there for everything. They've been helpful, kind, have squeezed me in for appointments with short notice, and always respond to my questions and concerns quickly when I call and email. Highly recommend Best Pets!

We followed Dr. Brittany Bald to this practice from a prior practice. She is amazing, the most knowledgeable and compassionate vet we have ever had. She goes above and beyond every time for both our dog and cat. I am not local to this area and drive 35 minutes to see her, because I am so devoted to her care and to Best Pets. My pets are my babies, their care is a priority, and Dr. Bald’s attention to detail and behavioral interventions have made all the difference to us. The service at this particular office has been great; lots can be done via email and they completely respect COVID 19 precautions. Cannot recommend enough.

I just moved to the area and my dog had some stomach issues so I was able to schedule an appointment on the same day and had a very nice experience with all the staff, including the nurse who came to get my girl doggie in the car and Dr. Benham examined her and gave the proper meds. She is much better!

My SO and I have a dog and cat that we take to Best Pets. The entire team is really communicative and super amazing when it comes to caring for our fur babies. Highly recommend them for your vet needs!
