Took my dog in for annual checkup, after 10 min observation and simple bloodwork, was presented Bill for $500+. There was no prior discussion of cost for exam. Outrageous price for basically very little service. Recommend checking price before having ANY service done.

Are you kidding? If you have pets,why would you consider going anywhere else? Wouldn’t you want top notch care with a vet with a pleasing oersonality? I have been with McGrath for over 25 years and will continue to go there even if my favorite Dr.Bruce is moving on.As to the increase in procedures, do you pay your own personal doctor for the best care you can get? I have always loved BVH. They treat my nervous guy with gentle loving arms, BUT our last well check visit was over $800. That is twice as much as I have ever paid before!!!!!

The staff is awesome. They really care about your animals as they are there own.

My dog wasn't feeling well and they were very quick getting her in and helping.

I took my long haired chihuahua to them after a not so good experience at another hospital in the area and the very first appointment they knew what was wrong and took good care of my chi. My chi is now back to her spunky and happy normal self!! Lots of thanks to you so much BVH! I would recommend this hospital to everyone!

I have been going to this practice for over 35 years and have had excellent service. Dr. Meehan is the BEST!!! She takes her time with your pets and ALWAYS takes the time to explain everything about your pets health in great detail. I would highly recommend this practice!!!

I just wanted to say that we are blessed with Billerica Vet because when my dog Bella went in for a follow-up they found a mass- something that I wouldn't think she had. They are very caring, they made suggestions, offered second opinions that lead to surgery. I'm forever grateful for everything they have done. Very kind and professional staffs. No matter how many times I called(which I did) they assured me things will be okay. If I didn't understand a word term, they made sure the nurse or Bella's Dr called me back. We took our kitty who is nine years old here the other day they were able to fit her in because she was having issues. Everybody on the phone was very friendly and accommodating we will make this our home Vet thank you!

My family and I had the pleasure of our dog Jak being a patient of BVH for many years. After 15yrs. we had to have him euthanized. We would like to thank Dr Greene and the wonderful caring staff that cared for Jak since he was a puppy and how they helped us through this very tough emotional time. They are extremely caring, thoughtful and were always accommodating no matter what the issues was. We miss Jak dearly and are very thankful to have made BVH our choice over the years. Thank You ALL. We recently moved to Billerica and did not have a vet. My dog was sick all night so in the morning I called several vets and Billerica Veterinary Hospital was the first to pick up the phone. Linda, the receptionist, was very helpful and calmed me down in preparation for our same day appointment. Due to Covid, I was in my car for the entire appointment while they examined my puppy and ran tests/X-rays. I was called by either a Nurse or the Vet during every step of the process and felt well informed of my puppy’s visit despite being in my car. The whole team was incredibly helpful and comforting as they explained all the medication and treatment for my dog. My dog also enjoyed the visit and came back to the car happy. We will continue going to Billerica Vet Hospital for our dog’s medical needs.

I went here yesterday with my 1 year old cat Cake and asked for a simple physical and check up to make sure she can get spade i specifically said NO SHOTS we are going away and didnt want her few days after to be without us. Instead they did what THEY thought was best for my pet and gave her 2 shots which i was then billed for. Do not go here they are very rude and think they know better for your animal than you do.

The would not see my cat until I got the health documents. My poor cat ????

Best animal hospital we have attended. Staff is great and we feel very welcomed every time we visit.

This place is fabulous first of all I was late for my appointment they still took me .. (not recommending you be late ) there fees for services were the cheapest I found. So obviously this place wants you to be able to afford to bring your pets in to get proper care some places are so expensive you can't afford to bring your animals in and that's why people even though they don't want to the animals have to suffer the women in there were so caring they came out and informed me step-by-step what was going on with my baby/ pet they also are very emotional they could feel my sadness I definitely would recommend this place to everyone and I have plenty of pets they will be my new veterinarian Thank You all for making what was a sad visit easier for me.

I have been going to McGrath Animal Hospital for years now. Before finding McGrath I had gone to serval other vets looking for the right fit for me and my dogs. I found that fit when I went to McGrath. Dr. Kaplan was my vet but I thought of him more as my pediatrician for my dogs. I was heartbroken when he left. I met Dr. Goldstein for the first time and told him he had some big shoes to fill. He has gone above and beyond my expectations. I absoultly love him and am so very happy not only with him but the staff. They are so warm and welcoming it feels more like visiting a friend than going to an appointment and my dogs go in wagging their tales.

We recently brought our Doberman puppy here to get her ears cropped on recommendation from our breeder and we couldn't be happier! Not only was McGrath Animal Hospital the most reasonably priced vet, they have been excellent with customer service. Dr. McGrath is an awesome surgeon and true professional and staff have been great. Would highly recommend.

My dog Sully has severe anxiety going to the vet. All the employees at McGrath do everything in their power to help him with his stress and give him the best care possible. They are caring and supportive of the pet owners too! We have had rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs and McGrath is THE place to take our furry friends for the best care possible.

We have a troublesome pet. Dr. Green and Sherry are the only veterinary professionals that can get her the care that she needs safely and effectively. We don’t have the option of going anywhere else.
