Wendy and her staff are ALWAYS incredible! We have 3 dogs, one of which is paralyzed in his hind legs. The staff at Groomingdale's handles him with love and care when grooming him and/or just trimming his nails. We also have a VERY strong and lively Lab who isn't the easiest dog to deal with but Wendy and her staff magically get him groomed and nails trimmed at a very reasonable price. Over the years and through the loss and addition of dogs we have seen the true "hearts" of Wendy and her staff. Last year, we found it necessary to suddenly help our beautiful boy, our Shepherd/Husky mix over the Rainbow Bridge. I called Wendy to cancel his upcoming appt and knew that would be a tough call, they had fallen in love with him too. *photos because they're so cute ????

I absolutely love Gail and her staff. Gail takes such good care of both my puppies. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you Gail for taking such good care of Bubbles and AJ.

1. Nail clippings looks like chainsawed, they’re cracked and very sharp. 2. We waited a year for full grooming Just to be told that we missed our appointment. I had it marked on my calendar right in front of the lady when we booked it. Even reconfirmed with her couple weeks ago. Service is horrible yet very expensive. You don't remember Jerry? really?

We've been taking our pup to Groomingdales for several years and he's always excited to be there. He gets terrific personal service and comes home clean, happy and handsome every time!

Wendy, who claims to be the owner... is the rudest most unprofessional dog groomer out there! Never owning her mistakes and instead will throw it back on the customer, stating they “asked for the cut” or they “didn't ask for something to be done”. Our dogs are essentially our children. You would never take your child to a salon and not specify what you are looking for the stylist to do. If a groomer doesn't know how to cut a certain breed they should have just said that, not take the dog and shave it however they feel or want. I cant believe the way this place has shaved my dog... Not only that BUT when we picked her up she seemed okay but after a few hours I noticed her face looked irritated. I work at a vet clinic and know infection when I see it..under her eye (very close to her eye) she had gotten razor burn and normally I wouldn’t mind but the fact that it’s swollen, puffy, warm to the touch and bothering her has me concerned. I am appalled that this woman who calls herself a business owner, can’t and hasn't even apologized for HER actions. A sincere apology can go a long way! Someone needs to teach Wendy common courtesy. In her natural rudeness she has lost our future business....

This place exceeded my expectations and I am so happy I found it to take my dog to. I am above and beyond overprotective and emotional over the wellbeing of my dog, and the workers completely understood, were supportive, and made me feel comfortable leaving him with them. They answered any questions I had and didn't make me feel insecure for asking them and they took the time to explain every process to me. I was so happy that my dog had such an enjoyable experience here and highly recommend this groomer to everyone.

My husband owns the building next door and says all he hears is dogs crying and screeching followed by yelling and banging all day long and it’s not normal. The owner, Wendy is very abusive to the dogs that don’t coperate. She puts on a very good front for the customers.

The people here are really good with animals. My Maine Coone cat is very sensitive and hates being brushed so he gets matts during the summer. We tried to shave him ourselves and it didnt work very well, he did a number on my arms. We brought him down and when they began to shave him he practically turned into butter in their arms. Would recommend this place for people with strong pets

They show concern about your pets. Asked why one of our dogs had a problem because he kept tilting his head to look at them. This dog lived caged as a stud in a puppy mill for 10 years. To see anyone he had to tilt his head to look up. The state of NY closed the place and sent the dog to an American Eskimo dog rescue. He was completely yellow from the chest down from sitting in a urine soaked cage. With visits to Groomigdales he should stay white the rest of his days.

Always the best service and I will never go to another groomer. Wendy is so friendly and knows my dog and makes her feel so comfortable every time she is there. Darby actually runs to the door when we get there and pushes into the office

If I could give this place no stars I would. Please do not bring your pets here. I was greeted by the owner, Wendy who seemed to be a very nice and professional business owner, but I was so very wrong. I dropped my dachshund Lucy off at 1:00PM and Wendy called me about 3:45PM to tell me that she was just finishing up Lucy. I got there about 4PM there was no one there but the owner and what I saw was horrifing. Wendy was hitting my Lucy in the face with a brush because she wouldn’t stay still and was scared. When she noticed I was there seeing what was going on because they have a giant window to watch what’s going on she immediately said she won’t stay still and the brush slipped and hit her in face. I told her to bring my dog out now and I told her I saw from my own two eyes what was happening and I walked out without paying. Needless to say Lucy now has a swollen eye because of this woman. Please if you care about your pets do not bring them here. I wouldn’t want any dog to go through what Lucy did.
