I couldn’t say more about how amazing my experience has been with Winter Hill Vet! They go above and beyond to answer any questions, at anytime, and are always so kind, friendly and patient (even when my cat does not offer the same in return ????)! I appreciate everything they do to help make my fur-baby happy and healthy!

I couldn't believe it - first time i had a vet experience that didn't leave me feeling frustrated or disconnected or unsure of what to do. I got to talk to the vet the entire time they did their thing with my pup, they fed her treats the whole time, let me ask a ton of questions, caught several little things and then gave me a plan.. everyone else from the reception to the techs were also really nice and welcoming.. it was a world of difference from the profit factory that is Banfield. Sure i might pay a little more than Banfield but now I feel like there is someone who actually cares about my dog in the long run, and cares that i am doing the right thing. Such a relief to find this place!

I originally gave Winterhill 5 stars but after my horrible experiences I wish I could give them 0 stars. They were negligent and overdosed my puppy on pain medicine during his neuter. They did what they could to make sure he was okay but they still made me pay $500!! Anytime I had to bring in my puppy for a last minute appointment, they make you pay over $100 just to walk in the door. I have never had to pay extra to see my vet before. I would just bring your animal to an emergency hospital. I do recommend angell animal medical center. They are also very negligent in their examinations, if they even did one ? I wouldn’t know I’m not allowed in the room but you would think they would check for dewclaws? They never told me my puppy had them (he is very very fluffy). His feet were bothering him and I was feeling around and I found he had 2 very overgrown dewclaw nails. This is something the vet should be checking for! I ended up paying $140 to be seen and get his nails fixed. Winterhill only cares about money and they are careless and negligent with animals. I would not recommend bringing your animals here and I will not be coming back.

Love Dr. Neenah, Sherry, Jules, Christine (who we all miss) and all the techs. They have taken excellent care of my Pup for 13 years. He has diabetes and sometimes presents some difficult symptoms. Dr. Neenan takes time with examinations and is very thorough. They all take the time to explain treatments and answer all your questions. We’re lucky to have her and her team. Thank you for all you do.

I’ve been taking my dogs and cats to Winter Hill Vet for more than 20 years. Even though the practice has changed hands I’ve always received the same personal care and attention for my beloved cats and dogs over that time. They have also done tremendous work in taking care of animals during the pandemic. I always recommend Winter Hill to people with dogs and cats and always will.

I never comment on place where I went but for this one, I needed to - since a lot of vet places in Cambridge are not really reliable. Here, you can bring your animal with trust. The score talks by itself :) Really nice people, Julia and Talia are really responsive by email and always want to help to make your appointment as convenient for you. The vet was great and very careful for our cat.

Wouldn't take our cats anywhere else. Dr. Neenan is amazing! She's thorough, caring and just wonderful. Staff is also fantastic. Been going here for 18 years and always been beyond pleased with how we've been treated and cared for.

I have been going to Winter Hill Veterinary Clinic for 30 plus years. The management has changed but not the caring attitude of everyone there, They have always provided excellent care for my cats.

The staff at Winter Hill is the best! I've been a client for over a year and have had appointments with Dr. Steiner and Dr. Neenan. They are both very thorough in their examinations and always take the time to talk me through what tests they're doing, what they've found, and the pros and cons of any potential next steps. The vet techs are also great with handling my dog, who can be a little nervous sometimes, and the front desk has always been responsive and super helpful with scheduling and records. I'm so happy I found Winter Hill and I recommend them to all my friends looking for a new vet.

I came and saw Dr. Borofsky with my golden retriever who has been having knee/hip problems. She was very kind and went through all the options we had to get him back to normal. You could tell she cared about him and assured me through every step of the way. Kate at the front desk is also very sweet and the vet techs were all helpful too. I would highly recommend them and my golden won't be seeing any other vet in Boston!

Winter Hill Vet is so personable and thorough! When I walked in with my dog for his first appointment, the receptionist said "this must be Moose!" My dog was seen by Dr. Borofsky who was attentive as was the vet tech.

We have been taking our two pups for 6 years now. They are top notch vets and always make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Amazing and professional service and care

I have been bringing my cat to Winter Hill Vet for about 4 years now. They are very nice and the atmosphere is a good mix of cute and clean. The vets are thorough and take time to discuss any concerns or changes. They do make recommendations for your pet's health but don't force treatments. I have noticed that their services are on the pricier side. I also cannot speak to the quality of any services other than the basic well-visit but I wouldn't hesitate to bring my cat there for something more if she were to need it.

I love Dr Neenan! I adopted two cats two years ago, and she’s been their vet for the whole ride. The office is a purely joyful and kind place, and they really care for your pets. I have been able to connect for different crisis without problems, I only wish they had later hours (though I understand it’s a small office). When I’ve had to take my cats to the emergency vet because of the lack of availability I’ve always known it would’ve been better if I had been able to take them here. For specifics; one of my cats is prone to crystals in his urine and sometimes strains to pee which is a very bad sign. To take care of him, we’ve needed to give him prazadon and sometimes a painkiller. He also takes prescription food c/d which seems to help. Winter hill vet has accommodated and helped make sure he’s happy and healthy without delay. I highly recommend!

Amazing staff and doctors they make you feel like family and not a customer. Ive been going there 30 years and was the best choice I made.

After bringing our elderly cat and dog to Dr. Neenan for a number of years, she informed us that she no longer wished to care for our animals. Prior to her informing us of this decision, there was a brief series of email/phone interactions with my wife and her office, in which there appeared to be some minor miscommunication and frustration on both sides. It seemed pretty minor from my perspective, certainly nothing worthy of terminating a long term relationship involving elderly pets. We always had a great relationship with everybody in Emily’s office and this came as kind of a surprise. I would recommend a more experienced and professional Doctor for your animals. -Ryan

Surprised at my experience given the reviews. Recently found a young female cat with a collar but no tags that had been hanging around for a few about a week. We were looking to temporarily take her in while we looked for her owner and/or found new ones, but were concerned given our own animals. So we reached out to Winter Hill Veterinary Clinic hoping that I could get an appointment for a quick check up for any diseases, micro chip or pregnancy(or even recent birth) etc etc. After explaining the situation and being put on hold for a minute or so, I was told that I should call animal control and let them handle it, and that was that. Very disappointed, given the openness of other local veterinary clinics to help and schedule an appointment shortly after.

This is a the only place I would bring my cat here. I truly trust them to the fullest and they understand how to treat my cat.
