Got my cat’s claws trimmed here and he is famously dramatic about it when I try to do it. Both of the owners were very quick, friendly, and gentle with him. It was $20 and less than 5 mins total. I will be booking appointments with them in the future and coming back to buy pet supplies!

Great service - I have used Stinky's over the years for pet sitting and nail trims for my cat Stevie. The team really knows what they are doing, and are always reliable and professional. I feel grateful to have such a wonderful spot in my neighborhood.

I’ve had the worst experience with this place. The person who answers the phone is awfully rude. Made me want to cry. I tried to speak to whoever the manager/owner is and he found a way not to let me do it. I’d never trust that place with my kittens, someone who can treat clients like that can treat your pets the same way. Think about it.

Love this spot. “Ms. Stinky” is consistently cooperative and helpful when I place orders with her. Can’t recommend higher for local business. ????????

Not the best selection as it is a small store, but the owner is really nice and helpful and the products in stock are good quality.

Excellent job with my dog's nails. I have been looking for a new local business to get my chihuahua's nails trimmed. Finding a new place was a challenge during a pandemic, but the owner responded promptly to my email inquiry on the current protocols in her store and best way to schedule an appointment. Once there, it took about 5 minutes, in and out, which I appreciated as my dog has some anxiety issues. His nails look awesome and I am very happy. Clearly I'm not a big spender on grooming and I always am thankful for a business that welcomes my dog and does a great job.

Been taking my dog here for seven years. Joanne is great. She gives individual attention and her cuts the way you ask.

The female owner (I have forgotten her name) was completely rude and unprofessional. I was shocked at her rude remarks and threats she gave us. She was rude and blamed us for the dogs hair. We had called before had and explained everything she needed to know and also owner known tips on what to do for the dog. She stated she understood and has worked with many different dogs. Maybe 30mins later she calls screaming at us we had to go down there and demand for her give us our dog back she was rude and called us all sorts of names as we walked out. Plus The dog’s trim was horrible I could’ve done a better job and I’m just a high school student! Overall Was shocked and saddened by her actions. I strongly recommend not going here.

Refused to groom my Persian because he was slightly matted and they were afraid they would knick his skin... explained how much of a "bleeder" they can be! Sounds like they have had some bad experiences, and I'm actually glad that they refused service.

She's always been very helpful to me whether I am trying to figure out a new toy for my cat or new healthy food for my finnicky eater. The store has a great variety of healthy foods so I always find something .There are so many dangerous foods out there, especially from China, that I get my treats there to make sure that it's safe. The tiny mouse with a feather tail was most successful and the freeze dried fish is like crack for the kitty. Give them a chance, it's hard to have a local business these days. Support your local business.

I don't know what these negative reviews are all about. I've been taking my dogs to Joanne for years and she has been nothing but courteous and extremely professional. Unlike other groomers she will endeavor to get them in and out as quickly as possible, instead of bulk grooming with a dozen dogs and keeping your dog all day. As to the person who trusted a groomer to handle blood tests and insulin shots, are you insane? It would never even cross my mind to let anyone but a trained veterinarian do something like that. I don't care what the groomer says. I trust Joanne and highly recommend her services.

On a search for a particular brand of cat food I found this place. I was extremely impressed with the array of brands offered that I have read about but have been unable to find at other pet stores. In speaking with the owner it was clear she has spent time and energy on researching brands she has picked to occupy her shelves.

It was good. They clawed hin was scratching everything. He lost a lot of hair on his coat which was good. Showed us how how to handle him. Also he was so calm and relaxed we tried to wash him many times and it was horrible. They did an amazing. ????????????

Terrible customer service. The owner is unstable! Update: now they won't give my key back on the day we agreed to because they are resentful of this review. Whatever you do, don't do business with these people. Yikes!

The owner is quirky and first impressions of the store don't beg you to come in, but they have a great selection of high-quality food, cat litter, and some of the best toys I have ever gotten for my pet. Support local!

I just called Stinky's Kittens & Doggies too and received the worst customer service. The gentleman who answered the phone was rude and abrupt. I sounded like they could use more staff because "it's really busy, why don't you call back." If he was this rude to me I can only imagine how he handles animals. I would not even make an appointment after that treatment. I would strongly advise the management to get their act together and step up the customer service.

Would not recommend. Rude owner that acts unprofessionally and erratically. She bailed on watching our cats after we had already left the state. When we left a negative yelp review, we received a rambling death threat from the owner and had to involve the police. The whole experience was surreal. Who calls someone and leaves a recorded death threat on a voicemail? Over a yelp review? I'm sure they do a decent job most of the time, a portion of people appear to have good experiences with them, but my experience was shockingly bad. Probably the most bizarre interaction I've had with another adult in my life. If you care about your animal's well being, and are sensitive to threats of bodily harm, I might look elsewhere.

We used Stinky's for pet sitting a few times to care for our two cats and were very happy with their service. However, things turned tragic when one of our cats died the last time we used them and we discovered that Stinky's, specifically the owner, Jo-Ann, might be the one responsible. Shortly before we used their service for the last time, one of our cats developed diabetes. We contacted Jo-Ann, the owner, to see whether they had someone who could take our cat's blood sugar readings and administer insulin so we could keep using her service during our next vacation. Jo-Ann represented that she was qualified to take readings and give insulin injections. Several days before we left for our trip, she came to our house, and we showed her how to take the readings and how and when to give our cat the shots. On the second day of our trip, the terrible call came from her that our cat was close to death. She rushed him to the hospital and waited there until we told her that our cat would have to stay the night. The vet on call told us that our cat's blood sugar readings were extremely low, and that he appeared to be suffering from an insulin overdose. Chances of recovery were very low, and we had to have him put down. We returned to Boston in grief but were grateful to Jo-Ann for her efforts to save him. Then, while going through the diabetes equipment to find the blood sugar readings she had taken while we were away--the equipment records every reading it makes--we found no readings on the equipment from the time of our vacation. As far as we could tell, Jo-Ann had not taken our cat's blood sugar readings before giving him insulin. Such negligence could easily have resulted in an insulin overdose like the one our cat suffered. We contacted Jo-Ann several times to clarify the absence of readings and to give us the readings she had allegedly taken. She responded that the readings were "both 120." She then stopped responding to our (repeated) requests for clarification. We are left with no choice but to believe that she caused our cat's death by injecting him without checking his blood sugar first, lied about it to us, and then refused to answer our questions or provide an explanation for what had happened. We absolutely cannot recommend leaving your cat in her care.
