I cannot say enough about Community Animal Hospital! I’ve been bringing my pets for many years and every single interaction has been beyond positive - phone calls, grooming, annual visits and emergencies. The moment you walk in the door …

The staff continues to provide the best service. I showed up with more than a handful of puppies... 10! There were multiple staff members who came out to help us bring in our litter of 8 week old puppies for their first vet visit. Once inside we were seen immediately where the Technicians and Veterinary Doctor were patient and thorough with their visit with all the puppies.

Not the cheapest but I had a super nice and supportive vet help with my kitten when I thought there was no hope. She even helped break down a lot of things since I am i first time cat owner. Very quick too Edited went here again and they're great

My 9 year old cat Rambo had a claw grow into his pad and he is not one to go in a carrier easily so has missed several appointments in the past but was able to get him there with a ASAP appointment and Kerry and Dr Hahn were very professional and did great handling my very very scared guy to get the claws cut and go at his pace! Thank you very much Community animal

We used to be happy with Community Animal Hospital until recently. Something has changed lately. They have become very unaccommodating of late. We had a very important event planned for this weekend and made arrangements early with the attached kennel to ensure that everything was handled appropriately in plenty of time to make the event. We asked at the time of the reservation if anything was needed to board our dogs for the weekend and was told that everything is in order and that both dogs were up to date on all necessary vaccines. However, when we came to drop off the dogs, we were told they could not take one of our dogs because she was not up to date on Kennel Cough vaccine. In fact, the previous vaccine had expired over a year ago. The kennel is attached to the vet office we use for our dogs' care and so all of the dogs records are readily available. When asking why we were not told at the time of making the reservation that the Kennel Cough vaccine was needed, the only answer we received was that we were told at the time of reservation that it is up to us to ensure all vaccines are up to date. There was no help offered for this situation like trying to have the dogs worked into the days schedule to receive a nasal spray Kennel Cough vaccine nor any other kind of help except to say that we could not be accommodated. Actually, upon asking if our dog could possibly be worked into the schedule so we could make this very important event, we were simply told "NO!" Needless to say we will not be using Community Animal Hospital for any of their services going forward. We no longer recommend this facility.

I don’t know what happened here. I’ve been going here for several years and the service was fantastic. As of the last year, the front office staff is rude, sterile, and just give off the air of being bothered. The docs remain great but I’m currently looking for a new vet. Please understand that not all are rude but it’s just not nearly as it once was.

Our pets have been patients of Community Animal Hospital for many years. We generally see Dr. Link, who is attentive, kind, a great listener, and committed to her patients and families! Our dog recently had an accident requiring emergency care on the weekend, in the morning. We drove to CAH and arrived just as they were opening. They took us in immediately and Dr. Morana took wonderful care of our dog. The staff at the front desk were kind and friendly, and very gracious. We highly recommend Community Animal Hospital.

I had an emergency with my cat this Sunday afternoon and when Tufts and another vet said they were at capacity and unable to see her, I had no idea what to do. My daughter found Community Animal hospital and I called and they were happy to have me go in even though they were closing in less than 2 hours. I was allowed to go in the exam room with my cat and they were so caring and kind. Thank you for being open on a Sunday and for helping us in a very sad time. I hope you know how much you are needed and appreciated. Thank you, Lissa

I've been taking my Boxers (4 in total) to Community Animal Hospital since 2005. There is NO better Animal Hospital in my area than Community. The vets here are undeniably the best around. I've been through many medical issues, allergy issues and surgeries with my dogs and I've always felt comforted and secure with the vets here. The vets here are EXCELLENT. They are truly knowledgeable and have THE BEST bedside manners of any vets I have ever met. I can be a little anxious when my dogs are sick or need a surgery and the doctors here are so wonderful with me, always make me feel like my dog is their number 1 priority and have a way of calming me down and making me feel good. I also am the Director of a non-profit dog rescue and have referred our adopters in the area (even outside of the area) to Community Animal for their regular vet care and I've heard nothing but great things from all those I have referred. I would like to mention that the support staff at Community is PHENOMENAL! You will feel like part of their "family" when you leave. They are warm, welcoming and truly care about each individual owner and pet. I cannot say enough about them and highly recommend them. Their Inn and Spa is also top notch for boarding or grooming your dog! They are A++

I have been taking Otto at this place for many years and they are the BEST there is. They treat these furry babies like they were their own. Receptionists are very friendly and the doctors and their assistants are incredible, can't say enough about this great place.

The staff at Community Animal Hospital -from reception to the doctors are always extremely attentive and kind. I trust they take great care of each of my dogs and take the time to meet each of their needs during their check ups or sick visits. Dr Levitt has been especially great to work with.

We are first time dog owners and this team has supported all of our questions and has provided great care for our 1 year old Red Lab. They are a great group who are enthusiastic about what they do. We would highly recommend CAH to any animal owner.

I have a goldendoodle named Igor who is 10 months old! he stayed at the inn for 2 nights and he loved it! the staff was caring and i can tell that they take extremely good care of the dogs! The price is very reasonable and definitely worth it! I 100% recommend and i will definitely be bringing Igor there again :)

The vet and animal staff were wonderful and very nice. My only issue is that I was on hold for 20 minutes and was taken inside 30 minutes after my appointment time. If I was taken in on time I could’ve been done and at home by the time I entered the building. It’s important to me, and i’m sure to others, that my time is valued as much as the staff’s time is and that I am taken on time for appointments.

Absolutely incredible animal hospital. I brought my kitty Nemo for his first visit, and was greeted with such a friendly vet tech, followed by the nicest and very knowledgeable vet. They answered all of my questions, and were extremely helpful. I know that Nemo will be in good hands, and if there was ever an emergency, I trust that Community Animal Hospital will do their best to help him. Highly recommend them for any pet, they’re super.

Thank you very, very much for your kindness and compassion when our dog Kozo passed away a few weeks ago. All of you made a very painful time less heart breaking. In my opinion, you are the best, most caring veterinarian clinic we’ve ever used. I picked his ashes up yesterday and was nicely surprised and the kind details, it brought a tear to our eyes.

The staff at Community Animal Hospital (CAH) are very professional, friendly and worked hard to provide care for my ailing cat. Though my cat was a new patient, I was able to get an appointment on a Sunday. Dr. Levitt is exceptionally thorough and was patient with my questions. His gentle counsel helped me with some tough choices. I highly recommend CAH for your pet. They truly care about your animal family and you.

The Community Animal Hospital and Spa & Inn has far exceeded our expectations in every possible way! Always. Luna is excited to see the staff each time she goes for a vet visit, a grooming appointment, and this time, a stay at the inn for a week. The care and attention she receives is top notch, and we are so grateful that she has such a wonderful experience each time she visits!

I’ve been using Community Animal Hospital, Inn & Spa since I rescued my pibble (pit bull) and feral kitty when I moved here to Westfield in 2018. They were very receptive to caring for my pets and handled their medical needs very well. Then Covid hit, and I worried, what now? Not to worry, at all! I was emailed regarding the changes that needed to happen: car side pick up , masks on everyone, visit, phone call to me with details from the dr, questions answered, drop off to the car and we were heading home. This last visit was some shots and a physical, and meds issued, but the day was beautiful so we were lucky to have the dr and her tech bring them out and discuss, and we were off. These are the kindest, most caring vets and staff I’ve dealt with since I lived in Boston and used the MSPCA many years ago.

Community Inn and Spa does such a great job grooming my precocious little Rocky, who is one feisty Pomeranian! He always looks great! I get so many comments from neighbors while out walking him about how cute his haircut is! I highly recommend the groomers as they are trained to deal with difficult dogs like Rocky, they do a great job making him look his best, and it is very obvious they are caring group.

I brought both of my cats here for the first time last week. I was nervous about bringing them somewhere new with the covid restrictions not allowing me to go with them but I had such a great experience. Both doctors took the time to answer all of my questions and the techs were so nice when coming to get and bring back my cats to the car. Thank you so much & I 100% recommend.

First appointment with kitty went well. Warmed up to vet nicely. Could tell he liked animals. Very thorough and informative. I used to bring my dog here before he passed away and when that happened the staff was so kind and even sent a card. Exceptional staff at vet and inn and spa.

Community Animal Hospital consistently exhibits professional, efficient, thorough and patient services. From the person on the phone, to the person coming to get your pet and the doctors you interact with, you are offered patience, professionalism and caring. Dr. Schmidt is particularly thorough, personable and understanding about what our pets mean to us.
