We own a loving 7 year old viszla from Pacheco which we picked up as a wobbly puppy. He reflects the best qualities of the breed. We met his parents and they were a good prediction of how he looks grown - strong and lean. A very happy dog that was easy to train. This was the best dog choice of a lifetime.

The Pachecos are a hard working family. They extend that to the patrons that they encounter no matter what your question is they are there to answer it. We have purchased 4 wonderful, loving and very healthy Labs from them over a span of 19 years. I would highly recommend them. They are a regular family who take great care of their Labs. I am grateful everyday for all of the love I get from my 2 boys. Looking forward to getting a little girl in the future. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience from start to finish . Logan is now 4 years old and the sweetest most loyal pup . He’s easygoing and has the absolute best personality. I swear he rolls his eyes at me sometimes ????????. I don’t think we could love him more than we do .

George and his wife are amazingly nice people!! They are great breeders, take care of all there dogs! Puppies are well cared for from the Mama dog and George, his wife, and employees , an the cutest little things you'll ever see!! My boyfriend got a puppy 2 years ago from George, and he is the best dog I've ever been around. All George's dogs are well behaved! Come with first round of shots! Couldn't find a better place to purchase a lab puppy!!

This place turned into a puppy mill

We set up an appointment for Saturday to see a puppy that was ready to bring home. In advance of the appointment we had a few questions, specifically about the health of the puppy's parents. We requested test results for OFA hip and elbow tests, OFA/CERF eye testing, EIC DNA testing and D Locus DNA testing; standard information that is readily available from most breeders selling AKC Lab Retrievers. Unfortunately, Owner George took offense to this. Immediately cancelling our appointment for being "too complicated". Shortly after, his daughter, Kim, let us know that even though our request was not unreasonable, they expect buyers to take their word that their pups are healthy. The experience was jarring and confusing. A $1600 dog should come with more of a guarantee than "take our word for it". Maybe they are dishonest, maybe they just don't know how to handle potential customers?

This place is great. The dogs are super smart. I got my 5 month old female black lab there named Stella. Shes super smart and extremely gentle but friendly. Shes a fantastic dog. We completely house trained her within weeks of having her and were leaving her home by herself at 3 and a half months. Super happy with our amazing dog. Thank you Pacheco kennels.

I really don't know anything about this place

We have the most beautiful, sweetest, healthiest, smartest, yellow Lab from Pacheco Kennel. Abby will be fourteen years old in November. They know what they are doing and are very careful and experienced. Abby has been a blessing to our family.

vet said my puppy was the result of over breeding ,cost me over 5000 in vet bills and counting over her 7 years ,,

My wife and I purchased a Vizsla from the Pacheco Kennels in December 2012. She is the the most loving Vizsla we’ve ever had. She is the fourth Vizsla we have owned, We loved them all but LUCY is really a special dog. Also the Pachecos are the nicest breeders I’ve met, in the forty years of owning Vizslas. This is a backyard puppy mill for sure This was a horrible experience the lady wouldn’t contact anyone with a simple phone call either she was extremely rude when my friend an I asked Questions like I wanted to see the mother of the puppy she was trying to sell me and see the health Guarantee she basically told us to reschedule in other words “get off my property.” I almost threw up my breakfast at the smell outside. this is a puppy mill the dogs are treated horribly and I would suggest the right authorities shut these sick people down it’s Inhumane. the puppies she led us to in the back were covered in poop and the one she was trying to show me was cowering in the corner and I couldn’t even see her before the lady more or less threw us out for asking questions Which a reputable breeder wouldn’t have any issues with guessing she know that she was running a puppy mill. buying a dog is a personal experience and If your gonna spend that much money on one you need to know certain stuff and it shouldn’t feel like a flee market purchase and you should be able to ask questions see the mother and even the father of the puppy if you want and basically take your time and not feel rushed into anything. awful experience don’t buy or trust these people at all they are all shady as hell. It’s so unfortunate that people think it’s ok to treat them this way I was sick and disgusted with what my friend and I saw today I’m shocked at what I saw there actually and I’m even more surprised people are buying puppies from these folks and what’s the most surprising of all is all the good reviews about them on here. It’s disgraceful. I’m not upset I didn’t get a dog today I’m more upset about what I saw going down there than anything else. The search continues for a yellow lab and hopefully a Breeder I can trust and actually speak to on the phone and ask as many questions as I need to do I feel comfortable about the background of the pup and anything else I feel I need to know. There’s lots to consider like I said it’s a very personal experience when buying a dog and should never have to see what I did or feel the way I did today so unfortunate.

We got our two Vizslas there over a year ago. My husband and I liked what we saw. They were clean and friendly. We did have an issue with our first pup and they were very quick to help and offered a perfect solution. My two boys are amazing. Thank you

We got our yellow lab "Sam" the beginning of the year and he is the sweetest boy and perfect addition to our family. The process was smooth and seamless and The Pacheco Family (George, Joan, Kimmie and Kevin) are amazing, their knowledge and caring nature are why we chose them after many friends have used them. Our pup is well mannered, has trained well and is a sweet boy all around. We visit often to buy our dog food and love seeing the puppies and the older dogs. They are always friendly and helpful. We also live right around the corner and I can say that they are a well maintained and kept up facility. I would highly recommend them to anyone! My husband and I had a very bad experience with Pacheco Kennels. They were recommended to us by our close friends who got their labs there a long time ago, so we tried hard to make it work. We wasted more than two months going back-and-forth with Kim by text – she refused a simple phone call and her voicemail was purposefully full – which was very frustrating because she was unresponsive for weeks at a time, and when she did respond, it was with a form text that did not answer our questions. When she finally confirmed that a puppy was available, it was very close to the adoption date. We tried to follow the rigid rules, which would have required 3-hour drives each way on consecutive weekends (including Thanksgiving, when we were scheduled to be out of town), but at the last minute she said the appointment time she had offered would not work, and was very rude. At that point, enough was enough. It took us less than an hour to reach out to another breeder, have a good conversation, and set up an appointment to meet our new puppy.

Knowledgeable family run kennel. An absolute pleasure to work with ....They have a true love and passion for the breed ( Vizslas & Labs ) and are very particular regarding which dogs can become parents. Extremely familiar with AKC rules and guidelines. Puppies are happy , healthy and clean !! Always go above and beyond to make the entire process a great experience !!! Just an amazing family & business ❤️

We had a great experience! Picked up our yellow lab Sophie in august. She's the sweetest girl! Great with my two kids. Was a little mouthie but getting better! Looking forward to many more years with our new family member!

Best thing we ever did Gus Gus is the Greatest Dog ever great temperament.great people to deal with when picking out pup and making everything so simple making us feel like family answered every question and asked questions about the well being of the dog after he leaves the life style he's gonna have(pampered in my case) like we had known each other for years which made it even more easier and friendly..I think as a whole I would so do it again but think adopt like 35 or 40 pups lol ..seriously I would do this all over again n not even think twice... If you ever get a chance to do it and want a great dog check this place out ..not a puppy mill but a real kennel
