Dr. Holt was so very thoughtful and kind when it came time for us to say goodbye to Rascal Kent. He hadn't been doing well and my roomie & I talked about having to put him down soon. He must have known because he quickly got worse. Dr. Holt was able to get us in very quickly, allowing us to say goodbye and asking us about him. It was one of the hardest experiences I've ever had to deal with, saying goodbye to him and Dr. Holt made it as smooth and painless for all of us. Eternally grateful, our boy went with his humans very painlessly. Thank you for giving us that.

Say Goodbye at Home made an awful day the least bad it could be. The doctor was kind, practiced, and ensured my dog went happy, comfortable, and surrounded by love. While no-one wants to use this service, I would highly suggest it to anyone facing the difficult choice I did. Letting my Inara go at home was the right choice, as was SGaH.

We wish to thank Dr Holt for helping us say goodbye to our wonderful cat Ernie. We were blessed to have him for 18 amazing years. Dr Holt made this difficult process smooth and easy, especially for Ernie. Having her come to our home and be able to avoid the cat carrier and trip to the vet was amazing. Ernie was home and held by his family during the entire process. He did not suffer any pain, and she gave us time afterwards to say goodbye. I was recently faced with the decision to end my dog's suffering. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I felt like I was letting a child go. While my beloved cat, Lilly was very sick, and had outlived by 22 weeks her terminal diagnosis, I still was second guessing my decision to end her life. Dr Holt, in such a simple compassionate manner, reassured me that my decision was the only decision, given Lilly's condition. Her clarity and gentle approach provided unspeakable relief during an excruciating experience.

Dr. Holt made what was such a difficult process manageable and dignified We were only able to give her 2 days' notice and not only was she available, but she was so kind and understanding about everything that it helped us to know we were doing the right thing for our sweet dog in her final days. The cremation service mailed us the most beautiful box, her paw print, a flower seed packet and card that we treasure. I cannot recommend 'Say Goodbye at Home' enough.

Dr. Holt was remarkable in her care of not only our beloved dog, but of our entire family, inviting us all to be part of his passing. She allowed us the time to truly say our goodbyes and even allowed our other family pets to be present so that they, too, knew what was happening. The most comforting aspect is that she came to our home, thus avoiding undue anxiety for our dog as well our family. We are sincerely grateful for her attention to detail and incredible care.

Making the decision to say goodbye to our 15 year old dog Ben was a difficult one. He was so loved and joined our family when our children were 5 and 6 years old. They are now 20 and 21 and we made the decision as a family that it was time to let him go. He was newly diagnosed with lymphoma and he was struggling. Dr Holt, Was so nice when she came to our home to assist our Maxie to the dog park in the sky. Maxie was put to sleep first and she was able to do so while she was fed bacon! It was the hardest decision to put our family member Wilson to sleep. Dr. Susan Holt was amazin!. Her compassion really helped us through a very difficult and emotional time. Being able to have Wilson put to sleep in the comfort of his home was less stress on us and especially Wilson. I cannot not be grateful to Dr. Holt and would highly recommend her.

We had Daizie Maybe almost 16 years before we had to lay her to rest. She was having terrible seizures off and on for over a year but as they got worse due to a brain tumor the medicine was not giving her quality of life. My wife who loved her more than words could say left it up to me to find a solution to an end. I went looking for answers on the internet when I came across Dr. Susan's name. I think she was a God send due to her last name was same as mine, Holt. Let's be honest ..... no one wants to write a review for the euthanasia of their furbaby. However, if you find yourself in the position to need to let your pet pass as peacefully as possible, Dr Holt is the one you want. She is kind, respectful, & professional. We had to let our 16 year old cat Sasha pass over the rainbow bridge recently, and when she suddenly went downhill quickly we didn't think she would make it to the date of our scheduled appointment. Dr Holt worked with me to come here last minute and not during her regular working hours, as I was hysterical with the thought of her passing on her own and in pain. We selfishly miss her every day, but know she is no longer suffering. God bless you Dr Holt, and the work you do to help grieving families and their pets.
