Petco Plymouth, Massachusetts

Rachel at Petco was very helpful when I asked about a Thunder shirt for my dog.

Consumer beware! Brought my German Shepherd in for a grooming. Was refused at the door due to the fact that I gave the dog a natural calming supplement. They said it was petco policy not to groom dogs who had been given a calming agent; this policy was not written anywhere, and the manager rudely admitted the policy wasn't in writing. I was obviously upset about this and had some choice words on my way out for wasting my time. I made an appointment with another petco with no issues whatsoever with the supplement. Seems like the Plymouth Petco just invented a policy because they didn't want to provide service to a large breed dog.

I usually don’t go to Petco I go to PetSmart, but I needed to grab something’s for the feral cats I take care of in my backyard and also my own cat. The Petco’s I have been to in the past I could never find help and it always cost more money in store than it did online. Thank God for the manager “Kerry” she is literally the best! I never expected getting the help or all my questions answered. She walked me through every concern I had even went out of her way to get me info on a facility that could help with the feral cats I take care of. I was so impressed by her I wanted to speak with her manager and that’s when she told me she was the manager! I’m in customer service and sales and honestly this was such a pleasant experience for me, you just don’t find this kind of help anymore in stores. She was educated, kind and even her staff were friendly too all very helpful. The cashier even priced matched the items for me!!! This Petco is far from we’re I live but if i am ever around this area again I’ll be sure to stop bye! Thanks again Kerry, you rock!!!! Someone needs to acknowledge this girl!!!????????

Hard to completely rate as it is undergoing renovation. Going by service and staff the score would have been two stars as they were slow and unfriendly especially when I was in line with only one other person. The store looks like it will be nice inside once it is completed. They may want to find a better staff to service customers. I continue to go to the Psmart at exit 5 in plymouth even though it is out of my way.

Employee was very rude to us when we visited the store on Sunday (10/03). My wife and I went to Petco this morning to purchase some pet supplies. We arrived. Due to the construction it was difficult to know if the store was open, but there were signs saying it was open during construction and the front door was open. So we went in. The first employee we encountered informed us the store wasn't open yet, but would open in three minutes. I asked if we could simply remain in the store as they were opening in less than three minutes. Another employee approached. This person seemed to be the manager as the first employee deferred to her. I again asked if we could just continue shopping as the store was opening within two minutes. This person rudely stated I had to leave. Although I felt this was a silly request I turned to leave saying nothing, intending to wait. This employee continued to be rude, lecturing me about entering the store, though the door was open, and how I wouldn't go into her car even if it were unlocked. I informed this person she were being unnecessarily rude. I walked away astonished at the rudeness, and the simple lack of professionalism and customer service. I don't intend to shop at this Petco again

The people are friendly and the stuff is so nice. I love the petco store.

Petco is always my last resort place to go for pet supplies or any form of living animal as they don't seem to provide very proper care for their animals. I stopped in this evening for some frozen fish food as the local fish store is closed today. I always walk by the reptile section just to check out what they have in store. Well today I found a nearly lifeless leopard gecko that had likely been on its back for hours I notified the front of store staff which did immediately attend to the situation and, I commend them for that. However, if you are familiar with reptile care at all, it takes a very long time for a reptile to get to such a poor state of health with multiple stuck sheds all over it's body. These animals require daily care and therefore a decline in health should be readily noticed. Aside from a few small items I will not be shopping at Petco anymore... PERIOD. Also, this reptile was still alive and looked as though the next stop for him was a black trash bag being held by one of the associates tasked with covering up the neglected animal. IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANIMAL WELFARE and not the profits of a big corporation I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

It was alright. I mean I don't really know how to feel about this store considering I'm over qualified to work here and I've applied time and time again. Still getting rejected as we speak but hey it is what it is. I guess they don't know a good worker if it smacked them in the face.????????‍♀️

We love Petco, the gel beads for beta fish are great. It's fun to just walk around and see what's there.

I want to thank Krystal and Kerry for being amazing and caring sweet people who helped me through a sad day after losing my guinea pig. We couldn't leave our other alone and they helped us get some friends for her. They were extremely compassionate and I couldn't of asked for better people to help me <3

My elderly dog just came down with diabetes. The manager on duty helped me pick out food and treats for her. He was very helpful!

My first dog Scooby ( 7 month) He really enjoyed the baths and care given especially by Jane (I think that's the name). Unfortunately Scooby passed away, he could not resist the injuries caused by a stupid motoquerio who didn’t want to stop ... he looked and was gone. Today I don't know how to live without you Scooby. Thank you very much to everyone who is careful with Scooby.

The Petco employees are knowledgeable and most of the time, the products I am looking for are available. The store is neat and clean and the prices are very good.

Brought my Pomsky to grooming at petco she had a bath and a blowout because she has a lot of fur and when I got my baby back 3 hours later she looked thinner and so clean cuz her fur is thick. staff was AMAZING I will say wont be going anywhere else my pup was so happy super clean smelled amazing still 1 week later. Only the best for our family.
