We just cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Jessica Dias. She is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Brilliant, considerate, and there for you when you need her. We adopted a senior dog whose owner passed away from covid during the initial surge...she has numerous health issues that are complicated by the fact that we know very little about her background and age. Dr. Dias is always there to help us sort through the challenges we have with her--regardless of how complex and time sensitive they may be. Thank you, Dr...I'm so happy you're in this role supporting animals who deserve it and animal parents that so need you. An additional thanks to Misty, who is an ABSOLUTE ALL-STAR! Misty's love for animals shines in every interaction we have with her--and her empathetic dedication to supporting animals parents going through challenges makes all the difference. Thank you so much--we are so appreciative <3

Five stars is given out far too often in the world of ratings and media but it is deserved here. Dr. Kate not only understood animals but understood Behavior as well. Her bedside manner with me and my dog was an extreme improvement from my previous vet.

My 16year old beloved dog was at the end of his life. I called to talk to a vet for advice…not sure if my dog was in pain because of his distress. Was not allowed to talk to a vet…apparently they were too busy…only allowed to talk to a technician…who told me false information. Your pet can be buried in a pet cemetery…they said…no he could not…I found out the day he was euthanized. Let’s talk about that day. I was told to call when I arrived so that I didn’t have to wait in line inside. Call when you arrive and we will take you into a private entrance so you do not have to wait in line. I called…no one answered…3 times it went into voicemail. I went inside completely in tears while everyone in the waiting room stared at me, mortified. After 5 minutes waiting in line…the woman behind the desk escorted me to a room with my son, mother and dog. Clearly, she was annoyed and said, “not sure this arrangement would work.” I was told previously on the phone that immediately upon arrival my baby would be given a sedative because dogs have anxiety when they are at the vet. That way we could spend quality time with him before we put him down. My dog sat anxious for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. When they gave him the sedative…they knocked him so far out…we never had any chance of saying goodbye. His tongue was dripping from the side of his face.I was horrified not to mention completely mislead about the process of giving my beloved dog into their end of life care. How can this happen anywhere???? I have a horrifying memory of my beloved dog’s last moments. This was preventative…if only they lived up to their word

Always professional and compassionate. When I was navigating through my dog's mysterious illness, Dr. Lori Paporello was put on the case. She was extremely dedicated and would hold phone conversations for as long as necessary. When money became an issue, she was absolutely understanding and provided very good alternatives that worked. Unfortunately, my dog passed away at the emergency vet in Deerfield. Dr. Lori Paporello called me and gave me sincere condolences and clarified what happened to my sweet boy when I asked. She listened to me as I explained my grief and gave me words of wisdom regarding death. I will be a faithful client for as long as I have animals (forever).

I live in Albany, NY, but spend many months in Northampton and started going to the Clinic. One of the vets heard a heart murmur that a specialist couldn't believe she (Dr. 'Kate') as able to diagnose! On another issue, I went to an emergency vet hospital in MA and after waiting 10 hours to be seen, was told my dog had no bite marks from a scuffle (not cheap!). Took her to the Noho Vet Clinic and they found several puncture wounds immediately! And finally, my other dog's skin looked leathery and she was itching terribly. My vet in Albany recommended oatmeal baths! Dr. Ksiazek diagnosed two competing skin conditions that needed to be addressed simultaneously and my dog is great now! I will drive the hour from Albany, when not in town, to continue receiving care at the Northampton Veterinary Clinic. ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE OUTSTANDING and I especially appreciate the staff working outdoors, so efficiently and kindly during COVID!

Our dogs and cats have been Going to Northampton Vet for over a quarter of a century. The care is always top notch and the bedside manner is fantastic. They always go above and beyond. They recognise that our companions are very much part of our family.

We love Dr. Barnes. We have had an amazing experience here, even with covid they still have been super on top of everything! Dr. Barnes has been with my boy since he was a puppy! She had always been consistent and been able to follow up with us. The vet techs are always super awesome and make sure we knew what to expect with the puppy.

I took my cat here for the two years I lived in Northampton - always a lovely and pleasant experience, whether I was bringing her in for a routine check-up, microchipping, or for any concerns. Both Dr. Shelburne and Dr. Barnes have looked after her and done a fantastic job of communicating to me what my cat did and didn't need - even during this pandemic! The whole team is wonderful and I highly recommend this practice.

This is a competent and thorough practice. Only three stars because they hired a rude receptionist who treats people with contempt. Why do such people work in customer service is beyond me.

My cat needed dental work. Even during the pandemic, the staff is tremendously kind and caring. Having brought our animals to these vets for over 25 years, we've never had anything but positive things to say. Even during the most difficult times, they are wonderful.
