This has been the family vet for years. Since Mark Berens owned it. All the vets and vet techs are amazing. They follow Covid regulations and are great with our dogs!

They really care about people's pets

The vers are terrific, they are patient and professional they listen and answer any and all questions. The clerical staff could use some customer service skills training. They are worth putting with see the vets. Be patient.

We love them for our 2 cats and 1 dog. We had a small snafu where we had to bring our cat in twice for a blood draw due to a technician mistake and Dr. Lorenzo was so apologetic and generous about it. She really went over and above to make it right. I love the time she is willing to take to discuss my pet's health, even outside of visits. I feel very well taken care of there.

They spoke to my black girlfriend like she was a child. They also sent my cat home with a vet wrap on her leg after a blood draw and didn't tell us to/when to take it off. We brought her back and they took it off without issue, but we won't be going back. Make sure to ask them for all instructions when you leave, then ask again.

Very kind staff, however the hygiene shaves are sometimes incomplete, causing us to return the next day at no charge. Always clean, and my kitties always seem calm when we walk in. There are a couple of resident animals, so leashes and carriers are a definite must.

We have consistently received top quality and compassionate care for our furry family members. The whole team has been great to our difficult menagerie. A special thanks to Dr Lorenzo.

Horrible experience all around. They left me waiting for hours (no exaggeration) even though I had an appointment. By the time they finally got to me they rushed through my appointment resulting in the following: missing an obvious diagnosis on my cat (I had mentioned I recovered him from the woods and they didn't even think to look for worms), misdiagnosed him making me pay for unnecessary medications, and didn't even chip him even though I requested it. So thanks for wasting my time and billing me for it. I had enough and went to the Cat Hospital, where my cat was diagnosed properly (and almost immediately), was handled better, and where we actually had our appointment time honored.

Professional and empathetic vet services. This is a comfy, homey office, resident animals greet you. The doc and staff are dedicated to the wellness of your pet.

I found this vet so awful I literally wouldn't let them work on my dog for free. Staff were rude enough thst I didn't feel comfortable with my dog receiving the free nueter that was provided to this facility for low income individuals by Northampton animal control.

Florence Animal Clinic is a great place. We had a dog who needed heartworm treatment (not preventative) and they were very proactive in submitting a claim with the drug company as well as making sure our pup was comfortable and doing well throughout the whole process. We've had to come in for a lot more than routine checkups and they've always helped us feel at ease and have taken their time with our dog.

They are thorough when examining your pet they make suggestions to future treatment of your pet and they are freindly staff

The entire staff at Florence animal clinic are wonderful individuals. They deeply care about the animals that they treat and the families that bring them there. My family has been seeing them with all of our pets for well over a decade now, and I don't think that I've changed vets if someone paid me.

awful awful awful. Staff are rude and treated my questions with patronizing disdain. This facility has people who don't actually work there answer the phone and dole out pricing information and policy that is incorrect and in which they won't honor. After poor reception by staff I decided not to have my dog treated here, but they refused to refund. Terrible experience, waste of time and money.

I don't like the place.i went there on a Saturday right befor they closed with my sick cat and they did a fast look and gave me some food and sent me on my way.my cat died the next day cause they didn't want to stay to do a good check up on her they just wanted to go home.

We couldn't thank the staff here anymore for all that they did during our Berners last days of his life. They were so caring and compassionate. They went above and beyond to provide him with comfort for which we are and forever will be truly grateful for. Thank you all. In several decades of personal and professional experience getting vet care for too many animals to count I can say that Florence Animal Clinic and Dr. Lorenzo are among the very best I've dealt with. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lorenzo and her practice so I'll leave at this -- great vets, great staff, good medicine, good with the pets and the people. They are highly recommended!
