I love Dr. Katie! She is so sweet with our two older cats and genuinely cares about their well being. My boy got an infection after his teeth cleanings and extractions - she took care of him straight away the next morning and didn't charge me for the follow up visit. I feel confident in her abilities and very comfortable with her care. Highly recommend! The only thing people should be aware of it to leave a message if you can't get through to reception. Sometimes they're swamped but they always follow up with messages.

Friendly efficient staff. Dr called back when she said she would. My cat might feel otherwise but he's healthy

My wife and I have been brining out 5 year old dog Guinness here since we got him. Yesterday morning he was attacked at the local dog park and had a fairly big open wound on his ear. Of course, they were our first call. They said they were too busy to see him and referred us to the emergency vet in Woburn. We called Woburn and they said they could not get us in either. I made one last call to NSAH at about 11 am yesterday and got their voicemail. I pleaded for them to make an exception since the place they referred us to couldn’t see him either. I STILL HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN CALLED BACK. I tried a few other local vets who also could not get us in. However, they’re staff was much more helpful and actually seemed to care enough to help us find an emergency vet who could see him. Unfortunately, emergency vets are dealing with acutely sick animals and sometimes waits can be very long. By the time Guinness was stitched up, it had been about 16 hours since the incident. As I sit here and write this I am still livid. Frankly, if they gave a rat’s behind they would have made an exception to see Guinness. Instead, he sat there with an open wound for 16 hours. We will be finding him a new vet.

Dr. Jean was so sweet with my hedgehog Pinto, even if he got poke-y while she was trying to examine him. She was kind and personable, I left feeling very glad that we visited :)

Hello, my sweet little kitten who was only one years old passed away on August 3rd 2021. I went to this vet to get her checked because she was throwing up and the vet said there was a string that she must have eaten. The vet that I got did not ask me if I wanted to get her X-rayed just told me that if she isn’t eating as well to come back and that she should be fine. He did not seem nervous so I did not think it would be a problem. I tried to watch her eating but I do have two other cats so it was kind of difficult. Although when I was talking to my friends they informed me that the string could get wrapped around her intestines which the doctor did not tell me as I remember and since he did not seem nervous about Bean I wasn’t nervous because I am a 19 year old girl that does not do this for a living. I think I paid $70 or so dollars for that appt on top of a shot that was $30 all for my cat to die. So I will not be bringing my cats or kittens here anymore. Hope you take this place takes this into account and make sure next time this does not happen. here are some pictures of my sweet girl

Great experience but you should know, they are smart. You can only take 2 lost dogs before they get suspicious.

Absolutely the kindest staff! Our beautiful Sphynx Giza snuck out and we couldn't find him. He died because of freezing temps. They helped us another time with Sphynx Cairo who developed Feline leukemia; I thank you All for your help.

Extremely courteous and professional staff here. Took my baby boy for his neutering and this was the most convenient location for me that accepted FoA (Friends of Animals) certificates. If you don’t know what that is I HIGHLY recommend you check it out if you’re thinking of getting your dog or cat neutered/spayed. It easily saved me 40-50% of the cost of neutering my puppy. Overall, I had a very pleasant and worryfree experience here and would recommend you to take your dog or cat here for daily vet care (if you live nearby) or for neuter/spay. I live in Boston and it wasn’t the easiest driving up but it was definitely worth it.

I can't say enough about Dr Dunn and his team of awesome, caring staff, who truly love helping animals. I have been going here for over 25 years with all my dogs. Just two days ago, my Sissee had a cast replaced on her front paw. By the time I got home she took it off while I was driving! I immediately called them told them I was on my way back, but my Dr Jean, who is awesome left, and most Drs were on lunch. I was so worried, but to my great surprise Sissee comes out with a new cast, happy accompanied by awesome Dr Dunn himself!! I was so happy, relief of knowing he was there and like a VIP patient, she was in great hands. Dr Dunn and his crew are the BEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL for sure!!
