Best vet on the south shore.

South Shore Animal Services has gone above and beyond to help me collect various records for my dog. Annie went as far as calling other veterinarian clinics out of state to gather the information I needed. In a world where quality customer service is hard to come by, South Shore Animal Services sets their bar pretty high!

I was able to microchip my cat for just the $45 it cost for the chip. I did not have to pay for an office visit, which was wonderful. Very clean.

The vet and staff very friendly and if you have questions they answer .Been going there since I adopted my cat 5 yrs ago. It's the place where my cat was seen before I got her.

We Mr and mrs daron Gaeta had Dr MC Adams remove some tumors from our dog she did a fantastic job period

South shore animal services is amazing. The staff are kind and wonderful to my three dogs.

I have used South Shore Animal Services for many years, several pets and several locations. The new home in Hanover is the best. Easy parking, easy access even with COVID. The Doctor is professional, and compassionate. They helped with the passing of two elderly dogs. I recently visited for a yearly check up, dental issues were identified, and a follow-up was scheduled and options discussed. The staff is stable, friendly and helpful. There is now online access. Fees seem reasonable.

Took my dog to be spayed here in March of 2019. She was so rough with my dogs internal organs that it weakened the tissue of her ureter, which ruptured 4 days later. She had to have emergency surgery to save her life. We met with Dr. McAdams weeks later with the histology report that proved it was her fault. She said her business was closing, obviously it wasnt, that she would reimburse the cost of the surgery, which took her almost a year to do after I had to contact her every single month to get the payment she promised. She said she would get a lawyer to draw up a contract guaranteeing her payment, but months and months went by of him "dealing with personal issues". Dr. McAdams is a liar and I would advise anyone to not leave their beloved pets in her care.

Friendly, clean, affordable. More than a number in this small clinic.

Whenever we have a crisis we always are seen asap....never rushed and always leave feeling so much better about our pups care and issues.

So far my experience has been truly impeccable, it takes a lot to impress me!! I can't say enough about Danielle her vet tech/office manager and Dr. McAdams they are very accommodating professional knowledgeable and caring. On top of it the place is spotless which is huge in my book!! I wish I had found them sooner for my other dog perhaps she would still be alive, but I look forward to them treating my baby from here out!

Excellent care by the entire staff. My dog needed surgery and they got us in very quickly, gave a comprehensive exam and performed surgery the very next day! The doctor is on time, no waiting past your appointment time and extremely fair prices. SSAS is our vet for life!

I am posting on behalf of my aunt who was visiting from Florida when her dog required emergency eye surgery. After having a bad experience at another vet's office in the area, she called South Shore Animal Services. Danielle and Dr. McAdam were able to schedule her dog's eye surgery right away. She was very impressed by the care provided. It was clear from the first moment she stepped into the office that Danielle and Dr. McAdam truly love animals and will do everything they can to help your pet. The prices were very reasonable (the procedure costing nearly half of the same services offered by competitors). They were active in following up on his recovery in order to ensure that everything was healing properly. South Shore Animal Services exceeded expectations. My family and I would definitely recommend them! Excellent staff and affordable prices!
