Flying Fur Framingham, Massachusetts

I've been taking my dog here for just over 4 months now. He absolutely loves going there! The staff is amazing and awesome with the dogs. My pup comes home in a good mood and very tired. I would recommend for anyone. The hours are super convenient too.

My dog came home bleeding, limping and with an incomplete nail grind. I brought my dog there to get her nails grinned down. She was nervous, just like the other 4 dogs waiting because it is SO loud and for some reason there is a parrot in the reception area? The receptionist took my dog to the back, where I could see her working on my dog's nails through the window. The woman returned my dog, I paid and left. When I got her home, I noticed that she had been bleeding in the backseat the whole ride. She limped up to my house and needed to be carried up the stairs because she refused to put weight on her paws (65lb dog.) I called and asked to speak to a manager, not to get a refund or to yell at them but to simply inform them that the woman at the front desk is not qualified to be doing nails on her own. I didn't want another dog to get hurt. The manager responded by blaming the botched nail job on my dog cause she was "all over the place" and "wouldn't stop moving." Keep in mind I could see them working on her through the window and there was no unusual struggle. You are "trained professionals" we bring our pets to you because we expect you to know what you are doing. If she was so "all over the place" you should be trained to handle that, ask for help or simply come out and say that you are unable to do it. You don't hurt the dog and never mention it to the pet's owner. They must have known that she was bleeding, yet there was no mention. The manger was extremely defensive and offered me to come back to the store so they could put clotting powder on her "again." I declined the offer. My dog has been through enough for one day, there is no reason to increase the trauma. To top it all off, they somehow managed to miss 3 nails completely which might be a blessing because they would have probably been bleeding as well. Pictures are after I cleaned up her bloody paws.

Did a great job on my terrier mix of 30 lbs. At $64. My first time doing a grooming so don't know how that compares but I was able to get an appt. Same week. But they did forget to use the special shampoo I brought with my dog so was disappointed in that and they forgot to give it back to me so had to make another trip back there for it and that was inconvenient. Update in 6/21: I have been to this salon 3x now, sometimes they forget to do something in the package, so remind them, check the dewclaws too before you leave as another groomer in another place told me they forgot to do them. The second picture with the magenta halter on was recently and it cost $68 for this short cut on her, so dont know if they went up another $4 or if her old haircut was considered medium? dont know? Often this place looks for old towels, so if you have some when you go there, donate them! This place often has openings when Petsmart or petco does not, except for holidays when they are extra busy. This latest cut was done by Vader I believe, who did a nice job, think there are some new people here or ones I had not seen on other visits.n All in all, I would still go here so far.

My dog loves going to Flying Fur and we love bringing her there! The team is really great and professional. I highly recommend Flying Fur for your doggy daycare and grooming needs.

Very happy with the service! I find the prices reasonable, as my cat is quite difficult to handle. It's really impressive what they can do considering how squirmy she is. Highly recommended!

Been going here for years. They always do an excellent job. No complaints.

I had left the post office right next door with my two young children. As we were walking to my car, my kids noticed the dogs in the window and asked to go say hi. The doors are completely see through and a lady inside rudely said no and shooed us away. Within seconds a man came outside and told us to leave as we were disrupting the dogs. I have no experience with the job they do there regarding dogs, but for them to get so upset about my children looking through a glass door and window at a room full of dogs is completely unreasonable. If they do not want kids to look, then perhaps they should not have glass doors. I was definitely put off by their reaction to a seemingly harmless gesture by young kids. Perhaps they’ve never had kids of their own and are oblivious to the wonders of childhood. I refuse to deny my children the fun of window shopping, especially when adorable dogs are asking for attention.

Cut my little boy up and hurt him. Cut his fur super short even when I asked them not too saying he had to many nots.

I highly recommend Flying Fur Framingham.. I have be a costumer at Flying Fur for over 4 years now!! I am always so happy every time!! The staff is aways so nice, they are always on time, and I feel safe dropping my puppies off and leaving them in their care knowing that they are safe!! The best part is that they are fast and that they ALWAYS do the perfect hair cut and nail trimming, bathing and teeth brushing on my 2 baby’s!! During the Covid-19, the Flying Fur has gone above and beyond this time in my opinion. They are using their van to come to our homes to provide a exact same service we get in the store salon. The Flying Fur is doing a great job keeping our family’s safe at this time and I thank you for that. Our animals need pampering too. Think about how you feel when you are over due for your hair cut or when you need a root color touch up or when your nails and toes need manicuring? What we don’t realize is that our fur baby’s are feeling the same way we do!!!! They need to be pampered too. They have fur is in their mouth, their nails are long and hurt and they are hot because there fur is too long!! My Rocky and Adrain are so happy right now running all around the house, they look so beautiful and they have smiles on their cute faces from ear to ear!!!! Thank you Flying Fur!!! Your the best!!

My cat's hair gets so long and matted. Last year, I found them while living in Framingham, and they did an excellent job. This year we live in Middleborough and I drove the hour to get my Shaggy there. They did another excellent job. I love this place and the way they treat your pets. I would highly recommend Flying Fur.

I live in Worcester but go to the Flying Fur for every groom. I've tried many local groomers but the Flying Fur by far gives my dog the best cut and care.

I have a Jug who is a love but very high energy. They did an amazingly perfect summer buzz cut on her. Very nice job!

I never take my dog ​​in this place again! I went to get my dog ​​and saw the owner of the place mistreating another dog and calling him a retard. This is unacceptable to me, disrespect to animals. If you love your dogs, never take that place !!!
