I always get great care

We had some initial communication issues, but Lindsay and Nancy got everything sorted out. They were very nice, both via email and by phone. Things went smoothly once we spoke for a few minutes, made sure they received my dog's previous exam records and got the pet portal set up. The current exam experience is fine. Dropping off your pet in the parking lot with a tech and waiting for 15-20 mins is ok. They basically did a quick exam, drew a blood sample, collected a fecal sample and sent the samples off to a lab for analysis. Both the vet, who I spoke with by phone in the parking lot, and the tech, who came outside, were also very nice. It is a challenging time. Be very patient, but also ask a lot of questions. I'm coming from a Wellness Plan at Banfield and was looking for a vet located closer to my home. It takes a little bit to understand the exam results and all the separate charges for the exam, lab tests and vaccinations during the first visit. These are things that'll get better once we can go inside the office and talk face to face again though. Lastly, make sure you get a copy of the exam docs, vaccination records and receipts. Groomers and pet daycare are always going to ask for the vaccination records.

Dogs don't need Xanax. Pet store is a good example of an Appropriate place for fierce affective free market capitalism.

The team at Emmerson are always friendly, kind, compassionate, and professional. We have vets closer to home, but are willing to travel for the service we receive here. Can't recommend them enough!

I'm always happy with the care my pup gets. I'm disappointed they are not allowing pet owners in just yet because of covid. I understand but it's tough to hand over your family member in a parking lot.

I was never told on the phone to call from the parking lot when I got there so I walked to the door and saw the sign on the door to call so I was in the process of getting my phone out of my bag when an employee walked up and I explained to her that my cat carrier was broken and I didn’t realize it til we had already put him inside so I wanted my boyfriend to carry him over and put him inside the door in case he got out. I brought another carrier to put him afterwards. So she told me to get the other carrier and bring it over which I did but a vet tech came to the door and started yelling at me saying I couldn’t come in. I told her I didn’t want to come in and that I had just explained the situation to the other woman - that I didn’t want my cat to get loose on Freeport St. So my boyfriend carried my cat over and set him inside the door and this woman continued arguing with me. My boyfriend told her to stop yelling at me and she said I was yelling at her. He said that she was the professional and should know better. At that point she finally stopped. I said I would never go there again and she said that’s fine. Nobody deserves to be treated that way

Great vets, they are always so gentle with my dog and are very clear in telling me if there are any problems. They are also very helpful over the phone if you have small questions and got us on to the right food to help my dog feel better definitely recommend them!

I would not trust any other Veterinary Hospital with the care of my pet. The Dr.'s are extraordinary, not to mention The Great Veterinary Tech's that work along side the Dr.'s.. One Tech. I believe Cassidy, treated my cat as if he was her own. Not to forget all the support staff. Best Animal Hospital ever.

They are amazing! Wonderful doctors and great precautions regarding COVID-19. Every time I call I get an appointment that day.

I made an appointment with my dog for a checkup. The only time they had that was offered was a 6:30 a.m. appointment on a Monday. Not necessarily an ideal time. I questioned the time and asked if there was another appointment and the woman on the phone said no because they had a cancellation was the only reason they had this appointment. I also confirmed a.m. or p.m. because I didn't even think they would be open at 6:30 a.m. she said a.m. so I drive there Monday I'm there at 6:30 a.m. they said to call and they'll come up to the car to get the dog. No answer, Walk around the building and no one's there and no one's inside. Wait about 20 minutes thinking maybe they're running late. No one shows up no one answers. I'm just so frustrated that someone made an appointment made me drive in that early to the city with my dog and then not even be there or show up. Respond to comment - So the business left the comment below my review, I can't respond to it there, but it was the right place, once I called, they did have me on file so that was just an attempt to act like this was not them. She basically called me a liar when I said she said AM and I had a friend with me when I called who also heard it, I booked on speaker phone in the car and I Confirmed "AM" twice because it seemed like such a weird time. I Decided to go to another Vet, and when they called to get the paperwork, they said they had no record of me and could not provide anything, but I have all my printed copies of everything. Just what a horrible place this is.

Great staff here! We had to take one of our dogs in for surgery and they put us at ease. They truly made the best out of a stressful situation.

Have taken 3 of my cats here and they've been great with every single one. This includes an old, blind cat with kidney failure whom they were exceptionally accommodating for and were willing to work with our at-home veterinarian for prescriptions/lab testing/x-rays. Excellent, kind, very caring staff, and they don't over charge. 100% reccomend these people.

Staff are really great, facility is clean, process are reasonable. I have a car that needs sedation to see the vet, and they were kind and understanding.

I really can't say enough about the team at Emmerson! When I moved to the city in 2015, I was in search of a clinic for my senior citizen dog who has a rather unique condition. I visited multiple clinics throughout the city and there is no better, loving, genuine care than you will find at Emmerson. It is crystal clear the doctors at Emmerson have one interest..... the care of their patients. They strike a perfect balance of making healthy recommendations but not to the point of making your feel pressured into treatments or services. As I prepare to move overseas, I am going to miss this team of compassionate professionals! Thank you guys for all you've done for Blaze and me!
