No one wants their dog to have surgery but if you have a dog that needs surgery, BVS is where you want it done!! The ENTIRE staff will treat your dog with the most outstanding TLC imaginable. Dr Briere is AWESOME. She is very kind and caring and provided me with great insight on my havanese's injury (complete CCL rupture). I chose surgery so my 9 year old little guy will have a stronger leg to use as he ages. Thank you to the ENTIRE staff - you are the best ❤️????????

I am new to this Veterinary group as I have followed my Vet here when she left her previous group. Highest marks! I was so stressed and concerned about my cat's symptoms, and felt a bit worried about not being able to be with him due to the COVID-19 protocols. During every step of the way, I was immediately put at ease! Olivia kindly filled out the form I hadn't filled out, showed so much care with my cat, and then my Vet quickly called me in my car, as she examined him. The whole process was incredibly seamless! First rate! Everyone who I have spoken with on the phone is friendly and very responsive. This is probably the hardest time due to COVID-19, to take care of a beloved animal at the Vet's. I can't say enough about them! Thank you All!!

Very friendly and professional. My cats are always stressed out when going there,(maybe its the car ride) but the staff is always very good at handling them. They asked all the questions that need to be asked and recommend anything that they feel that my cat might need. Been going there 10+ years.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I called frantically a few days ago because my dog tore her ACL and was having trouble walking. They were able to put me on a cancellation list and ended up getting me an appointment for surgery in less than a week! Everyone here has been so amazing every step of the way. I wish we had taken our 12 year old black lab, Bailey, to BVS sooner. The quality of care and the recommendations that were made to us during his surgical consult greatly improved the quality of Bailey’s life and helped extend it for almost another two months after other veterinary clinics and hospitals had given him a prognosis of only weeks. After seeing countless veterinarians throughout New England and being told that all treatment options had been exhausted and palliative care was our only option, we made an appointment with BVS. It was life changing for Bailey (and us). From the moment we walked in Bailey was treated with care and compassion and we were as well. We drove down from NH for a Friday afternoon appointment and as we checked out the receptionist, seeing our address, looked up the traffic report and we took an alternate route home based on her suggestion, which saved hours in traffic traveling to NH on a Friday night. Every member of the BVS staff we encountered that day was pleasant and helpful. Our consult was with Dr. Henry and he was phenomenal. Dr. Henry truly cares for animals and understands what we, as their best friends and caregivers, go through when our pet is ill. He was honest in his assessment of Bailey’s prognosis and was willing to contact other veterinarians for their assessment on Bailey’s eligibility for surgery. Dr. Henry answered all our questions during our appointment and we never felt rushed. After the consult more questions came up regarding the timing of Bailey’s treatments and his potential surgery and he was more than willing to answer all of our questions and gave us his advice on how proceed with his care. He always left the line of communication with him open in the event we had any more questions or needed further advice. 100% Dr. Henry is the best of the best when it comes to veterinarians. I did read the reviews on BVS prior to making Bailey an appointment and noticed a lot of negative reviews based on pricing. Bailey saw countless specialists at veterinary facilities throughout New England and BVS was comparable (or slightly less expensive) in price. I highly recommend BVS and cannot thank them enough for all of help they provided during a very difficult time.

By far the best experience I've had at any vet.

If I could give more starts I would ! We live an hour away and made the decision after long research to bring our dog Rascal to have Patella Luxation/ACL Surgery. We have Dr. Briere. We could not have asked for more compassionate professional service. ALL of the staff is amazing. You are not a number or rushed through the process. They took lots of time with us to explain everything at the initial appointment. When we brought him in the morning of the surgery the staff made us all so comfortable and maintained communication before and after the surgery. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for superb care for surgery ! UPDATE : Rascal tore his other ACl and needed his knee done. Once again they went above and beyond helping us through this second leg surgery. Rascal cannot take pain meds we discovered last time so this was escpecially hard for all of us and they were there every step of the way, answering calls and returning calls when ever we needed help or assurance. They are an amazing team !!

They care for your pet and you (if you are a neurotic pet person, as one ought to be if they have pets)

The staff and service here is amazing. I will no longer take my dog anywhere else. We had a knee surgery done here for a large breed dog and they were super helpful with informing us about every step of the process. They had models of all the different surgeries and iPads to show us pictures. They showed us the before and after X-rays and did not skimp on repeated follow ups. Can't recommend them enough!

Haven't gone yet, but Dr Henry and his surgeons are well known and respected. I look forward to their helping my Lab!
