We brought our dog here when he started throwing up blood after he had other GI symptoms for several hours. We were advised by the Banfield VetChat to feed him a bland diet and monitor his symptoms, and if they got worse to bring him in - they got worse hours later. We called two other Banfield locations and both refused to see him that day. We were so scared that something was seriously wrong with our pup. We brought him into Cambridge Banfield and they saw him within 15 minutes (even though they were very busy with other scheduled appointments). They did multiple tests, diagnosed what was going on, gave us a plan for treatment for him, and sent us home with medication. After just a day and a half, our pup was back to his normal self! We continued the medication and treatment plan, and are so grateful to the doctors and team at Cambridge Banfield! We’ve received excellent care at other Banfield locations in the past, and this location provided the same level of care to us and our pup!

This is the worst location that Bandielf has, Everett location they are always there for when you need them. I give up after two weeks trying to get a shot for my puppy, he was already overdue, they said in the phone that is ok if is over due for a couple of more weeks. Im not sure about that, Im not a veterinarian.

My dog went in for a teeth cleaning and aspirated vomit into his lungs at the beginning of the procedure. I think my dog experienced risk while they were waiting for my permission and should have automatically administered the life-saving anti-nausea medication immediately during surgery. The hospital had to call me for permission to administer an anti-nausea medication. Then at the end of the procedure, he had a seizure and was given anti-seizure medication immediately. I was sent home with a prescription for $1400, 4 doses of anticonvulsive medication and I was not given instructions on how to rectally administer. I chose to take my dog to an emergency vet to be monitored overnight instead of trying to administer medication to a dog who had been without food or water for over 12 hours.

Can't get anyone to answer the phones! CHECK! New vet each time you visit because no vet in their right mind would stay with such an awful company? CHECK! It is cheap though. Edited to add: they are sorry I've had these challenges. They won't change how they do business, as it's been consistently bad, and many people complain about the same thing. Fake concern for the customer's complaint is also infuriating. Your words are empty, try changing your business model.

Clearly the reviews speak the truth! We checked our puppy in on Sunday morning. Once I checked my puppy in, I asked if the visit and any tests performed are all covered? The gentleman replied yes that we are on a plan that covers the visit and any testing done. We later came to pick up our puppy, we were given prescription and told that the vet will call us to address what is going on. He never called us and we tried calling back to ask what exactly is going on and still haven’t heard back. On top it, they ran some tests without confirming with us and asking if we are ok with the tests, they then gave us a bill for $120-$140 (this is while we pay $60/month a wellness plan). I have called them several times and asked both for the clinic manager and vet and never heard back from either one. Please save your money, time and avoid this place.

Please DO NOT go there for your pets!!! I took my cat two months ago for a test for travelling to another country. I called them several times for the result because I was gonna miss my flight. But they just told me they would email me. Actually no email came to me. And a month after my flight, thank god I canceled my flight, they said I could picked it up when I called them again. I'm extremely not satisfied with the service. I know the visit is always expensive. But how could I be happy when I paid $500 but got nothing. Then I called their client service. After an hour unprofessional service talking, I understood that there was no manager taking responsibility for the Cambridge hospital. I have no way to complain if I don't have their wellness plan. What I can do is calling them again and again and the results will be they don't know who should be in charge of my visit. How can people trust a hospital without Supervision? So get away from them. It's good for both you and your pets!

My dog has been to this location several times over the course of the year and has been seen by more than one vet. He has had loose stool since yesterday and this morning the receptionist claimed they would not accept a stool sample for analysis claiming that the doctor working now has not seen my pet and would not prescribe medicine. The hospital has access to his up to date medical records and so this response makes no sense. My dog may have a parasitic infection and they do not care about providing a treatment plan. I am hesitant to use their services moving forward.

I highly recommend Banfield. Dr. Max and his staff offered the best service. Thank you for taking such good care of Lolla.

This place is a disaster. No one starts work on time, every appointment begins late, no one knows what they are doing and not a single person holds the team accountable. Example: we show up for our 'non-drop-off' appointment guaranteed by Dr. Frye, and the front-desk person (who wasn't wearing mask properly) became highly hostile, claimed that wasn't what the instruction was, and even if that was what the instruction was it would have to be a drop-off appointment since they were short-staffed. Why would anyone overrule the vet's specific instructions? Who would think that we as pet owners would do anything but not return, ever? Also, we've already emailed your email address of record so don't bother asking us to do so. I bet you change nothing! I'm talking to you, practice manager Joshua Downs!!!

The worst Benefield I’ve been to!!!! The staff was okay but the Dr, M.Aliziane was very incompetent!! Left the hospital with my cat with a ear infection without any medication. He wasn’t compassionate about my cat ! Definitely not recommend this place.

I have one question. Why doctors changing every 3 months in Cambridge Banfield Hospital? My dog is too old to switch insurance plans now. Every time I am trying to schedule an appt. it is new doctor. And the explanation that dr which I liked moved to another state. Happens all the time. Why dr don't stay at that place?

I've rarely had an issue here (4 years now), and when I have it's been about 10% of the time and with those at the front (when you are worried about your pet, you don't need unsolicited advice from those that aren't veterinarians or vet techs). However, whenever I've had concerns, they've always been handled with care. Most times, it's been someone who cares a lot and had the best intentions towards my pet and just needs a little guidance on how to handle that situation. The biggest of shout outs to the docs there. Our pet has their favorites, but they've always treated them well.

Terrible and confusing customer service. I wouldnt feel safe to take my pets to this place! I usually give a shot to the poor review place, but I couldn't in this one. I couldnt even book the appointment just because I have 2 cats.

I have been bringing my dog to Banfield since he was a puppy and have a wellness plan for him. I just had the most frustrating call with them and am going to pull my business. My dog fell down the stairs and is favoring one of his legs. I tried calling and it took 4 calls before someone actually picked up and then when I explained the situation and asked for guidance, the person who answered kept putting me on hold to go ask the vet what to say. Ultimately they said I could or could not bring him in, that if I brought him in today they could look at him but it would take a few days to be able to do an X-ray and if the timing didn’t work for me I could bring to an emergency vet. The person I spoke seemed extremely incompetent and frankly uncaring as she never once offered good wishes for the dog. I’m very dissatisfied with the service I just received! There must be a reason vets don’t stay there. I’m going to find a local vet who actually cares!

The doctor is great, but I just got the rudest call from the staff. I dropped off a sample to be treated, was not asked for payment and was told it was covered by my plan. Just got a call asking when I planted to pay for the service I received and threatening me with collections when I've never seen a bill in the most condescending accusatory voice. I will be going to a new listen from now on.
