In Short we have been Clients of Burlington Veterinary for approximately 2 decades. They went from excellent to ABSOLUTELY USELESS THUS NOT GIVING A DARN ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. I will explain. Approximately one month ago, Our 8 month old Puppy was what looked liked choking and grasping for air, we called immediately, their answer was sorry we are not able to take him, call someone else, (SERIOUSLY). They could care less. We immediately took good care of our puppy somewhere else. Last week, our Puppy was shivering, could not hold his food down and was vomiting, we Called Burlington Veterinary again asking for help, ( SAME RESULT) SAME ASNWER; WE ARE TOO BUSY AND OVERWHELMED, CALL SOMEONE ELSE. WE STATED THAT THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! TO NO AVAIL, AND WAS VERY RUDE. Our Puppy needed immediate surgery, had swallowed a sock and was stuck in his intestines, could have died, $7,000 later, I was livered. If our dog had passed, Burlington Veterinary would have been hit with as serious law suit. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND BURLINGTON VETERINARY TO OUR WORST ENEMY, AND WE ARE MAKING IT A MISSON OF OURS TO LET THE ENTIRE INTERNET BE AWARE ABOUT THIS GIGANTIC FIASCO WHICH COULD HAVE COST OUR PUPPY'S LIFE. This is a very caring and compassionate clinic. Since Dr. Meade retired, he lefr his clinic in wonderful hands especially Dr. Gardiner who has been helping me with my 'old man' Ben. Thank you for all you do! God Bless You.

Below you can see my glowing review from three years ago, and it pains me to update in this way. We had 12 consecutive, wonderful years with Dr. Meade and his staff treating our two dogs. Dr. Meade retired. If I could give the new vets who now run the practice zero stars, I would. If you like attitudes that are sanctimonious, superior, and deaf to your concerns then by all means see Drs. Klopfer and Gardiner. We brought our Golden in about a possible skin infection around the mouth. We wanted to get ahead of it. All Klopfer did was berate us about a collar totally dismissing the skin issue. We had to ask her several times to look at it. I was sobbing in the car. Getting Rx refilled with Gardiner was a nightmare to the point that even the Costco pharmacist called us perplexed at the change in a maintenance prescription. Now, with our new vet, our Golden is being treated with meds because the condition did worsen. Rx are now smoothly ordered and not a problem. One truly horrible experience with Klopfer should have been enough. But the second one with Gardiner made us leave and not look back. I cannot recommend this practice more poorly. What a sad fall. From 2018: I cannot say enough good things about the care and commitment of Dr. Meade and the staff. For issues large and small they are responsive and skilled. We have received the very best care with follow-up that I wish I had in my own health care. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Easy to get to, efficient and not a lot of waiting around, but best of all Dr. Perkins has always given us the highest of care with our animals.

Dr Meade has been our vet for 17 years and for the lifetimes of several animals. Highly recommend.

Our vet moved to Burlington Veterinary Hospital and we followed her and staff there. Our Talia was so happy to see her witch made us so happy ????

The staff is great: very friendly and responsive, good with dogs and people :-). And Dr. Meade and the assistants do a superb job with our highly nervous dog.

I absolutely love Dr. Perkins. She was amazing with my dog Buddy. He had to to have a toe removed due to cancer and she answered all my questions and treated my dog wonderful. She was so caring. The rest of the staff was also great. They were very professional and kind. I would highly recommend Burlington Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for excellent vet care.

Had appointment on Thursday and the doctor came outside into the driveway to greet us and welcome my dog. So super friendly and kind. Treat Burger my dog very special.

We have Dr. Douglas Meade as our cat's doctor for 17 years now. We wouldn't trust our baby with anybody else. He cares. And the stuff is wonderful. Thank you!

The vets, assistants and staff at Burlington Veterinary Hospital are the nicest, most professional people! I've been taking my "scaredy cat" dog there since he was a puppy (4 years), and they do their best to accommodate his nervousness, while providing me with the best advice on pet care.

Very safe conscious, given the times we are in right now. Open to answering the many questions we had about our new pup.

Dr Mead is wonderful. I can't share enough how fabulous this vet is. He has treated my 2 cats. Acts like their my family. Which they are. I just never thought I would find a vet that thought the same. Love Helen , at the desk. She is a godsend. Comes through for appointments and handles my endless annoying questions. The staff is great. Can't thank them enough. We are moving to Florida. I'll miss my veterinarian family.

The Team at Burlington Veterinary Hospital pay attention to detail. They listen, give through diagnosis and care to our pets. We have been coming to Dr. Meade and staff for well over 35 years. Several of our pets have lived long healthy lives because of the expert care they received at Burlington veterinary hospital. And even in the last stages of life of our pets, the compassion, kindness, and love got me through some of the most heartbreaking times. Thank you to the entire team!

I trust t his amazing staff do the very best possible for my pets, while also understanding some of my own financial and personal limitations when going through difficult medical issues with my pets. I highly recommend Burlington Veterinary Hospital!!!

Dr. Meade and his staff are so experienced, so smart, and totally committed to their patients. From Helen at the front line, all the way through the staff, each and everyone could not be nicer, very understanding and very sensitive to us owners and whatever we are going through. I trust them completely with my precious family members.

Dr.Meade & the team have been caring for our dogs for almost 20 years . They are wonderful! Always warm and helpful.

The staff and Dr Meade are amazing! When we got our new kitty 2 years ago they helped us with being new fur parents. When he was neutered they were always available if we had any questions.

I've been bringing my 12-year-old cat to Burlington Vet since she was born. They are by far the best Veterinary team around. You can feel assured that they are going to do the very best for your pet. Not only are they highly skilled but they are very caring. I highly recommend them!

Brought in a sitick rabbit and they were super friendly, helpful, and the visit didn't break the bank (less than $200 for medicine and the visit itself)
