Pet Express Braintree, Massachusetts

Was walking around the mall and saw this place and was curious if it was a petstore/etc, besides the point i was horrified when i walked in. there was so many puppies shoved in little glass like contained enclosures with No beds No food No water. The puppies only had one or two toys and were in something similar to hamster bedding. As well as medium sized dogs being shoved into these small glass enclosures. Made me extremely upset this place should be shut down.

I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that they still sell puppies. Horrible ????

Please do not support pet stores like Pet express. The animals come from puppy mills where the mother dog is bred over and over and kept in terrible conditions. You may feel like you are helping to save one of these animals but buying from here is just contributing to the problem. An animal purchased from a place like this is more likely to have health issues. Please, please let’s get these places outlawed. Plenty of shelters have puppies, adults and senior animals who would love to join your family. Or going through a responsible, reputable breeder is a far better option.

Don't buy puppy mill dogs people. Pet Express is disreputable and sells animals raised in inhumane conditions. If you love animals, a pet store is the worst possible choice.....

Have not made a purchase. Puppies look tired.

They have extremely high prices and they keep the poor things in a loud small container for hours. It’s very unhealthy for the dogs.

This place needs to be shut down completely the puppies are stuck in the Fish tank for 15 to 16 hours from closing to opening 6 PM to 11 in the morning that is cruelty and unhealthy to the puppies

I found the best havanese shihtzu mix that I named Leo. They have an excellent package that comes along with the purchase. I had a great experience. They answered all my questions and made the entire process easy for me.

Staff is friendly and the store is well lit and clean. I only hope soon people can actually visit with the puppies instead of through the glass.

We had a wonderful experience at Pet Express today. My dad wanted a dog after his dog had to be put down, they were so wonderful and kind. We ended up leaving with 2 beautiful dogs and my dad is so happy again. Thank you to the two ladies that helped us today, I'm sorry I don't know your names, but you were both awesome!

Just wondering why a pet store is legally allowed to sell dogs? In Maine, that’s been banned. I don’t trust this store, I don’t like the set up for the puppies, and I really hope they are getting walked or exercised in an open space on a regular basis. Just seems like a sad set up.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got taken care of as soon as we walked in. They have all different kinds of puppies. If you don't see the one you want they have different locations. Although me and my husband drove an hour to come see the place. It was well worth it. We Can't wait to bring our cute furry baby home

Some workers here had an attitude ! Second dog prices are little too high.. Third doesn't seem any of the workers play with animals they do seem stressed..

Went to see a cavachaun puppy. Will be coming he Thursday. Have purchased 2 dogs previously about 10 yrs ago.

So all the lights are off and the store is closed yet all the puppies are still in their fish tank cages left as you saw them. Places like this are disgusting. Why would anyone in their right mind buy a god from a place like this??

Seems more aimed at dog ???? owners than pet owners. Nice looking puppies with breed names I've never heard of. Meet and greet with puppies has been suspended due to Covid-19. Facemasks are not required to enter store.

Prices are very high. Customer service could be friendlier.

Very knowledgeable staff and good selection of healthy puppies, puppies are moving fast during the pandemic..before you judge pet stores, recommend talking to the staff about a pet your interested in..we love our new puppy.

Honestly after going go this specific store I'm hard press to stop by another. The employees are super friendly and welcoming to question. Also as someone who has to make a quick run in after work, it's nice to not have to wade through giant lines. Overall I couldn't be happier with my experience

These puppies are in fish tanks and the only thing they have in the tank is a hamster water bottle. It’s abuse and no dog should go through this. Please do not adopt there.
