Dr Foster is extremely caring and goes above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time.

Shepherd Vet has been my veterinarian for 11 years now. They have taken excellent care of my cats and dogs over the years. Being in the medical field myself I feel like I am a good judge of quality care. Every doctor/vet is excellent at explaining the medical condition, the options for treatment and the pros and cons of each option so that a confident joint decision can be made in how to proceed with the care plan of the animal. I also especially appreciate their passion for their (often unappreciated) work and their empathy towards the owners of their patients. I am fortunate to have found a group of people that I can trust will do everything they can in the best interest of both myself and my animal.

Absolutely incredible vet. They truly care for your loved ones and their goal is best interest for the animal. I haven't once felt they are aiming to get extra money out of me, a worry I have with vets typically. I couldn't recommend them enough!

I scheduled an appointment for my dog to get vaccines and nail trim. I didn't ask for any specific time, they appoint that time themselves. When I came for that time they seemed busy, there was 5 or 6 cars outside. The woman that went outside to pick up Duke (you are not allowed inside during the COVID time) all of a sudden was very rude to me, she was shouting at me and told me to go and come back if I am not happy that she did not have time for the nail trim. When I was scheduling the visit I made it clear that he is in need of the nail trim and I wanted it to be done during one visit and I was promised that. She couldn't care less and she was rude and rushing me into decisions and shouting at me pointing to all other cars and in front of other people as if I was an annoying walk in person who bothers everyone. As a result of that abrupt attempt of what was supposed to be a scheduled visit I felt very unwelcome and stressed and I do not want to come back at any point at all to ever see that woman again. I am moving my dog and cat to another clinic. What once was a great practice can be easily ruined by just one person. However, another amazing thing is that when I called and asked them to send records to another clinic, trying to explain what happened, the person on the phone really didn't care either and didn't ask any clarification questions at all or demonstrated any surprise, and I was a long-term client who left about $2K at this clinic for my cat's surgery. I think it speaks for itself as well.

First time dog owners- had a great experience at the clinic. The staff and Dr. Irene Papamitrou are passionate, caring, and answered all our questions. We never felt rushed or like our puppy wasn’t the doctor’s priority. Great place to bring your pet!

Dr Foster and his team are great. They are very kind to us and thoughtful about our aging dog. A full service shop. I also hear great things about their work with cats.

I've been taking my dogs here for almost 20 years, we are always a priority, we always get the truth about their condition in layman's terms (even if it's bad) and they are very compassionate.

They have take care of my two cats since they were kittens and the visits are easy. They follow through and answer all of my questions. I'm sad that they no longer have pet boarding services but they are the most caring vet I've ever had.

Dr. Tim Foster is the most wonderful DVM! Practicing OUTSTANDING animal medicine and truly caring and compassionate. A total example of the human-animal bond. It doesn't get better than this.

Nice friendly people here. They are usually on time and the vaccine clinics are convient times.

Recently had a phone conversation with Dr. Foster, who was extremely rude and accusatory. We've been taking our cat here for 9 years, and will now be going elsewhere!
