The only veterinary group in which I trust my dog.

Overall very nice people and great with my dog, however they diagnosed my dog with entropion on his medical record but did not tell us. Kept treating his eye infections which cost money in visits and medication. Finally was diagnosed with entropion buy insurance wont cover the cost because according to them, South bay diagnosed it long before we got it fixed. If you do go here, make sure you ask for all medical records and read through them to see what is diagnosed. Best bet if possible is to go to angel. They have enough specialized staff to address your problems the first time, instead of paying for the advice to go to angel.

I can't say enough great things about South Bay Vet. I have been going here for years with both my frenchies and they have always received top notch care. The staff and Drs are all fabulous, friendly, and attentive (even when I'm being a nervous nelly about something silly) and they are knowledgeable about all those special frenchie things. Special love to them for the wonderful care they gave me and my elderly frenchie right up to his last day. They were so sensitive and caring to me and met me after hours in the middle of the night to take him after he passed. I will always be greatful for that kindness.

Great group of veterinarians....they've all helped my dog over the years and each with loving, excellent care. They were also kind enough to allow me to do a payment plan for an expensive procedure. I highly recommended SBVG!

The staff at South Bay are amazing! From the receptionist, to vet techs, to Dr.wasko and Dr. Bower. They are a dedicated team and are very honest and fair. Highly recommend this place for your fur baby!

My partner and I love it here! We just got a puppy about a month ago and have been taking him here. He feels super comfortable with all of the vets and the environment there. Friendly workers, knowledgeable, communicative and just overall, fantastic!

The vets here are all so nice and they take great care of our two cats.

Awesome staff and great service

Staff was rude; I was the only person I there for about 10 minutes before they asked if I was being helped (clearly I wasnt) and they were very dismissive. Overall, bad experience and super un helpful.

I recently set up my first appointment with this clinic but I didn't realize they had two offices, nor did they inform me. When I arrived at my appointment, I found out I was at the wrong office. I told them that I could head over to the other office but it'd be 20 minutes. They told me that I would have to reschedule and they were unable to accommodate me. I felt this was a lack of communication on their end and they didn't care to make the issue right. My dog needed immediate assistance due to bleeding in his paws so I decided to take my services elsewhere. Very poor experience.

Great place with great staff. We travel across the city to bring our dog here. They have a great relationship with Angell too in case of major medical issues.

Our 11 year old Basenji needed his 1st dental cleaning. All went well except he caught hold of his harness and sliced through it. They were able to mend it and gave a credit on our charges.

We’ve been really happy with the care our 8 month old pup receives here. We’ve gone to Dr. Bower for all our shots, boosters, medications and for spay surgery and have been impressed with her ability to communicate clearly and the great care she gives our dog.

A small animal neighborhood resource with an experienced staff. My dogs have always been treated there and have done well.

Great experiences on balance with SBVG. The team at the front has a lot to manage, so wait times or assistance can be slow coming, but once you have their attention, they take care of everything. I'd definitely recommend them.

Went in with my dog for his yearly check up.. They are thorough and I was in and out in a timely manner.

Great local vet and very walkable in the South End. Offers a lot of services and weekend appointments which is very helpful. The vets and staff are all very helpful and know the local community.

Admittedly they are a little pricey, but I assume that this is normal for the city. They have always taken excellent care of my cat Rogue. Every person who handles her has shown the utmost respect and care for her. They always let me know what options I have for treatment and explain why they do what they do. They're very upfront with costs and very sensitive about how expensive veterinary care can be. They're also very accomodating and have convenient appointment times on Saturdays and drop off/pick up on weekdays. They keep you informed every step of the way. I've never felt as confident about leaving my cat in someone else's hands as I do with South Bay Veterinary Group.

I've trusted my beloved working dogs' care to South Bay Veterinary since 1999. They provide top notch care and referrals to specialists.

I have been taking my pets to this office since the 90's. They have dealt with puppy care, through end of life care and they have done it all with kindness and empathy. I currently have a dog who is getting older, has diabetes, is losing her eye sight and has Cushing's Disease. Even though she is poked and prodded every time she goes here she still loves Dr. Bower and Emily, seriously she scratches on the door to get in. Thank you to all the doctors and support staff here for taking care of all of my animals over the years.
