Stay away from this place. If you have a cat, stay away from here! These people are horrible and rude and they completely mangled my cat's hair. I dropped my cat off at 1 PM and was told to come back between 3:30-4pm. I come back around 3:45pm to find that they only got through like 15% of the groom and they said they were trying to contact me. Meanwhile I had my phone with me the entire time and I received zero phone calls or text messages. The groomer was ridiculously rude and kept saying, "well he was upset. you don't want us to get bit do you?" Ummmmm, I've been getting my cat groomed for seven years and this has never happened. I just moved to Boston and I cannot believe this is considered one of the best places for cats. Are you kidding me? These people are totally unprofessional. Do not take your cats here.

I come here for an annual lioncut for my indoor long-haired cat. La Chic is always prompt, friendly, and do a great job. My cat is the fussy kind that doesn't particularly like being brushed and definitely doesn't like his nails trimmed, so props to the professionals here for getting him fresh, cut, and trimmed so he can run around in the summer without overheating. This year they even did a fade on my cat's front legs and it looks incredible :D

I brought my Persian cat here to get TRIMMED because she was very overgrown. I come back to pick her up and she has been fully shaved. I clearly told the person at the front desk that I did NOT want her shaved at all. I am very dissatisfied with how my poor cat came out as I did NOT was her to get a lion cut. I even showed him a picture of her trimmed before and that’s how I wanted her. He assured me she would be fine as I was already hesitant on bringing her there. If they needed to fully shave her, they should have called me and told me ahead of time and asked me if I was okay with that but they DIDNT. He also said when I made the appointment it was going to be $75 and he charged me $95!!! Terrible service do not bring your pets here, there are far better places to bring them.

Robert the owner is fantastic. He is so wonderful with my dog. I highly recommend la chic grooming.

Took my short haired cat in for a wash and nail clipping. Brandon helped service her, and she came back clean and fluffy with neatly groomed nails. Brandon was friendly and professional, and finished within an hour of me dropping her off, and gave me a call immediately. While my groomer was very specific about asking what I want, if you have concerns about cut or what services you don't or do want, be explicit when you are dropping off.

I'm very disappointed with the service I received here. I dropped my cats off in the morning at the time of their appointment. I waited over four hours to be notified that they were done. The call never came and becoming nervous, I drove to La Chic to see if they were done yet. On arrival I was told that they were "just finished." I'm assuming this must mean they were trapped in their cage for 2+ hours before their grooming started. I would have dropped them off at a later time had I known they would not be seen at the time of their appointment. Additionally, I was told that one cat had gotten a "nick" on his leg. Upon taking him home, I noticed that it was actually a 2 inch gash. The cat needed medical attention. It's safe to say I won't be coming back here.

I took my cat in for a nail trimming, very quick and efficient and the staff is super friendly! Overall great experience!

Best place to bring your dogs and cats the staff are very kind and professional .they do a perfect job they take there time to make sure your dog or cat look perfect brandon does such a good job on the cats he treats them with so much love and his work .is amazing .the cats love him also he does the best lion cuts I've have ever seen very happy .bobby and lizzy have so much love for all the dogs they groom they do not rush they take there time to do a beautiful professional job .la.chic is the best grooming place place to bring your dogs and cats they will get so much love and care .

A little pricey but my cat is worth it ????

I was not impressed or happy with cat grooming of my cat Max/ The only shaved half where the mats were located and though they would have trimmed him down. I asked about lion cut but would of brought my cat back instead of doing rush job. I got him home and had cuts on his body, and surgical glue on him as well. I took him to the Vet and she gave him an antibiotic shot and took pictures of cuts on his body. He said he was cut because cat was older and skin not as firm. Really?? if you care about your pet - do not take them here.

DO NOT GO HERE. I am incredibly surprised by the reviews here. After using this place several times over the past year, I have found their service to be very disappointing. 1) Never book a "first" appointment, or if you do, do not show up at 10am, as they are never on time to open the store. 2) I have consistently booked times around 10/10:30am and my dog is usually not done until 1:30/3:30pm (FIVE hours?!). I have just found out that this is NOT because they are grooming my dog the entire time, it is because my dog is being kept in a small kennel for FOUR hours before they are able to "get to" my dog. How does that make any sense?? If I knew that when I dropped her off at 10:30am that she would be sitting in a kennel for 3+ hours every time, I absolutely would have stopped going to them sooner. When I asked about this situation, I did not even receive an apology. Just a "come pick your dog up now [FIVE HOURS LATER]." I now know why the last time I went in, a dog was violently shaking/panicking upon walking in. If I knew that every time I got groomed, I would be kept in a small jail cell, I would too! Completely unacceptable.

Good grooming place with good prices and a pro staff. Never had any issues. Robert is La Chic.

A place that works for my main coon cat. The crew is down to earth, with a lot of experience on grooming.

The owner is very rude. They are overpriced. One of the most inefficient groomers I have ever seen. If you want your dog to sit in a kennel for 4 hours before getting groomed, then this is the place for you.

We have been bring our dog Bella here for years. The staff is professional, the service is high quality. They do a great job cutting and grooming Bella. I would highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place! I live in Hyde Park and make my way to Charlestown to come here. I get my cat a lion cut every year right before summer. (I am really allergic to her so when she starts to shed her winter coat I have to get her shaved.) this is the third year I have brought her here and will do it again for years to come. The staff is unbelievable, so kind and very nice. It's so hard to find a place to groom cats yet alone a good place and I feel so comfortable leaving my little baby. She is never scared after I pick up and that is just the cherry on top. Great great place!

As a student here I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
