We have been using BAH since last year, and I am really thankful for Dr. Evans and Dr. Hemstreet in caring for my 15 year old cat, Jenks. Dr. Evans explained in details and managed Jenks's kidney function since last year, and he is doing much better now. Recently we found Jenks has a big defect in his mouth that causing him in pain and not eating. Due to his age, we are afraid it could be cancer and I am so sad since he has been company me for more than 10 years and he is my baby. Due to COVID and holidays, we only can take him to ER and Banfield for emergency assessment, and we were only being referred to vet dental specialist, which has a half year waiting list. After we got an appointment with Dr. Hemstreet, he is so caring and helped Jenks a lot, by putting him to the next day surgery, finding the cause and the right treatment of the disease. He is also so nice to keep the treatment cost low in budget. I am very grateful for Dr. Hemstreet to help my baby and save me from helpless situation. I can see why BAH has so many good reviews in google, definitely deserves it!

Boston Animal Hospital has really set the bar high for vet services. My dog Boeing is a bit neurotic (like me haha), has a variety of heath quirks, and a world traveler. I was first introduced to the crew a little under a year ago when Julia and Dr. Evans helped me get Boeing all prepped and ready for a summer in Portugal. Both were so knowledgeable and had open lines of communication. After moving to the city, I knew Boston Animal Hospital was the place for Boeing. Fast forward ~6 months, Boeing and I are extremely gracious for the team. Dr. Schaffer keeps me in the loop more than most human primary care physicians do nowadays. When was the last time a doctor called you at home to walk you through results and provided time and space to ask questions?? Usually it’s the telephone game with a nurse or tech. Boeing is a complex case, and I’m a very anxious individual, but I know he is getting the best care by some really awesome folks! Thank you Boston Animal Hospital Team! ????????

Just had my first experience here with my kitten, Liet, and I was so impressed I felt the need to leave a review. Everyone was extraordinarily kind, professional and knowledgeable, and had nothing but good things to say about my rather uncooperative cat. I will absolutely be returning here for all my veterinary needs for years to come.

I’ve had nothing but the best experience at Boston Animal Hospital! They’re so caring and I never feel like my dog’s needs aren’t met. Although I can’t be in the room physically with my dog whenever she has a check-up due to COVID-19, I’m always 100% comfortable in knowing she’s being taken care of. We will be moving to another part of Boston soon and even though there’s another hospital closer to our new home, I rather make the longer commute here so that she continues receiving the best care possible.

Trash hospital! Overcharge and bad service! Don’t do International Health Certification! We’re charged over $1,000 for this single program. All my friends did the same program at the similar period in other MA hospitals, which only costed around $400. Someone told us that they would offer promotion if we would like to pay full price initially. Later, no one is responsible for this promotion. They tried to pass the buck again and again. They clearly knew that we’re not going to stay in the USA for a long time since we did the International Health Certification. That’s how they make black money!

Do not come here for international travel documents. I payed $354 for titer test, yet you won't get original copy which you will need for traveling. It's another $50 dollars just to get the original copy. Also, health certificate service is also way over charge nearly* $1,100. The whole purpose of international department is too rip you off.

Transferred one of my dogs here and I'm glad I did! While I loved the vet at the other clinic I was taking her to, I didn't love the management and they greatly left a sour taste in my mouth. I will be transferring all my pets here. The care that they showed for my very reactive Pit Bull warmed my heart. I've never seen her do so well at the vet. The prices are more than reasonable and very affordable. Only thing I would add for improvement is communication when customers are outside, last visit I waited over 30 minutes for someone to come out after I was told on the phone someone would be right out. Great job guys!

I can't more highly recommend Boston Animal Hospital. Our family has visited BAC for dog care for about four years. The entire staff has always been exceptionally caring and attentive. Everyone has been awesome but we would like to give a special thank you to Johnny, Alyssa, and Dr. Evans for their extraordinary patience and thoughtfulness caring for both Maggie (and us) last week. BAC is by far the best vet clinic we have ever used.

They gave me tips on how to give the meds to my kitties, explained in detail everything I had to do, and were always a phone call away. Needless to say, we will not be going anywhere else for our yearly checkups. I can’t say enough how happy I am with my experience. Thank you so much!!

Love Boston Animal Hospital so much!! 1 month ago I picked up my bichpoo puppy and took him to the another popular and high review vet on Newbury St. However, the experience there was a nightmare. I started to search another good review vet in Boston, then I found here. The staffs are are all so friendly and nice. Dr. Gorman is super professional and patient to answer all the long question lists I have. She helps me a lot to relieve the stress for being a first puppy mom. Professional veterinarians are everywhere in the states, but sometime it’s hard to find someone that you can truly trust. Also, you can park in front of the hospital and wait in the car due to covid19 policy instead of waiting outside of building under 30F and being cold to you & your puppy. The price here is also more reasonable, I highly recommend BAH !!!

I recently adopted two extremely shy shelter cats who turned out to have roundworm and an infection. As a new cat-mom, I panicked and the staff at Boston Animal Hospital were so comforting, so accommodating, and so patient even in the current social distancing climate. They gave me tips on how to give the meds to my kitties, explained in detail everything I had to do, and were always a phone call away. Needless to say, we will not be going anywhere else for our yearly checkups. I can’t say enough how happy I am with my experience. Thank you so much!!

I had a really incredible experience with this vet care. After searching thoroughly, I landed here and it was luckily very close to my house. The vets and assistants were so caring and I always felt like my Frenchie was in good hands. Prices are very reasonable and they are up front about your options, so you don't feel tricked. I moved from Boston, but would recommend this vet to anyone who is looking.

Super welcoming and attentive staff and Dr.Evan was great. He was very laid back and truly passionate about the care and well being of animals. I will definitely be brining my cat to them in the future!

I love this Animal Hospital. I took my sisters dog here twice, so I knew what to expect. I take my dog to another vet. My dog was not himself on Monday and Tuesday he was not any better. I called my vet and they couldn’t see him until Wednesday. I couldn’t wait I called Boston Animal Hospital and they said come in now. I loved the vet and the staff, they gave him some medication and I go back in two weeks. THEY WERE THE BEST.

We've been coming here for over a year since we moved to Dorchester. Everyone is great, from the front desk to the techs to the vets. It's easy to make an appointment though short notice can be a challenge. To be expected with a popular veterinary hospital. They've done a good job squeezing us in when they can or giving over the phone advice. We also appreciate their follow up calls to make sure everything is going well after an unplanned visit. Their relationship with Red Dog daycare helps streamline a lot of preventive care as well.
