They are the best. Thorough, friendly and follow up after a visit

The staff and doctors at AAH are always wonderful, I have entrusted my pets medical care to them for literally decades at this point and have never been unhappy. They are kind, compassionate professionals, the facility is clean and organized, and services are explained in full with no pressure. Highly recommend without reservation and am always grateful to have such a wonderful local animal hospital!

I called to ask what to do about lost nice cat I found. They ask me if am customer. I was not. they reply they are not taking new one

My beloved furry companions have been cared for by the expert, compassionate doctors and staff for 20+ years. Over the years there have been many changes but what has not changed is the quality of care they give. I would go no where else.

We have been coming to Amesbury animal hospital for many years. We can get an appointment in a reasonable time and any emergencies are a same day visit. Utmost confidence in their care of our fur baby.

The team here is always happy and eager to help. They make it as pleasant as possible for both you and your pet. They are now (Dec 2021) back to normal operation. You can go inside with your pet. The following procedure no longer applies. I leave it here in case it comes back. When you get to the parking lot you have to text or call them to let you know that you are waiting. Then when they are ready, they call you, and ask you a few questions. Then you drop your pet off in the foyer. You can't go in the building with your pet. They call you when they are done.

They are the most compassion and friendly people. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else

I have had ginger cats in my home for the last 37 yrs, amesbury animal hospital has taken care of each one of them. I would not think of going any where else.

Great caring staff and veterinary services

Amesbury Animal Hospital is an amazing place, with supporting staff. I have gone to them for over 20 years, traveling far out of my town because there is no place I trust more. I can not say enough positive things about them.

The two doctors (Dr Stefanie and Dr Smith) my 16 year old Italian greyhound saw this week were fabulous as usual. My senior has very complex issues and AAH always manages to find time to see her in a timely manner. Dr Smith has once again, with his thorough diagnosis and gentle manner with my girl, resolved her pain issues and allowed her to enjoy life. The staff at AAH are incredible-excellent follow-up and professional, caring individuals. Although we have moved out of state, it’s well worth the drive to AAH. Can't say enough about how great everyone is! As a rescue with a sketchy past my dog is a little tough to work with during her visits, but the whole team is always amazingly patient with her. The incredible care and professionalism everyone provides really helps put both human and companion at ease.

We started going here two years ago when we got our Mastiff/Lab mix Arlo. We came from Bulger so we know good pet care. We were looking for a vet that didn't charge Bulger prices. The staff here is great, the doctors are very good and the prices are fair. What more could you want in a vet?

We have been using this practice for our pet care for 27 years, for our dogs, cats, and farm animals. The doctors, technicians, and other staff are reliable and compassionate. Our pets have consistently received quality care and we are happy when are pets are healthy and happy!

I have used them for years for all my animals on the farm. They are always kind, patient, knowledgeable and compassionate to my animals.

Amesbury Hospital vets & staff really do their very best to give their very best care to the animals brought in for their care. And they also express their empathy to the pet owners who bring their pets in for care; whether the pet is there for a shot or an end of life situation. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets best care.

The staff took time and genuinely cared about our girl as she helped her cross the rainbow bridge. They made a very sad day easier with being real and understanding how we were feeling about Frankie.they let us stay there with her for as long as we wanted to even though they had closed. Wonderful vet.

Are not accepting new patients, nowhere on their website does it say that. Kinda unfortunate.

Always takes great care of my babies

The staff and the doctors are just wonderful, they have a lot of passion for your pet, and a doctor is always available on call after hours 7 days a week. This is the place for loving care and health for your pet..

Dr Kelly Butterworth and Sydney were wonderful this afternoon as I said goodbye to my 19.5 yr old hospice cat. During his months-long treatment, Dr Butterworth made me feel like a collaborator in his treatment instead of as an outsider. All of my cats go to AAH, and I’ve been bringing them there for over 20 years. I cannot praise them enough. It’s as difficult for the vets, vet techs and staff to have to say goodbye to a patient as it is for the pet owner. So I doubly thank them for being so strong when we need their strength even though they may be crying inside for not being able to save our little guys as we are crying in front of them. Thank you.

Wouldn't bring my dogs anywhere else!
