These guys are the best. I've adopted three rescued pit bulls from them through the years. They're always available and ready to help when an issue comes up.

CARE is what this shelter is all about! They are a crew of very dedicated volunteers and we are so fortunate (as are the cats) to have them in this area!

People there are caring and compassionate. Their love for animals show. They go above and beyond for you. We adopted our kitten from there and would highly recommend to adopt from there!!

While it was determined that my living situation would not be suitable for the cat I was potentially interested in adopting, the volunteer that reached out to me was responsive, professional, and placed a high importance on the well-being of the animals and adopters alike. Would definitely considering adopting from this shelter if the right cat comes by!

The kindest and most caring women! I adopted Moby, my orange tabby who had been rescued, frostbitten and malnourished from under a building at the New Bedford Airport. Adopted our kitten John here and they were very kind letting us come by to meet all the cats. He was treated for fleas and dewormer right before we left and we were given all his medical history. Hes a love bug and we are so happy!

I'm hoping I can adopt that cat, i picked out. Time will tell.

I had an amazing experience adopting my cat from CARE. The volunteers (who also manage full-time jobs) do an amazing job caring for the rescued animals and dedicate so much money and energy to keeping them happy, healthy and cared for. The application process was easy, and they are very thorough in reviewing applicants and following up with references. This is great to see because it shows how dedicated they are to matching the cats and dogs with adopters that are the perfect fit for them. They genuinely care about all the animals and it's touching to see how excited they are when they're placed in good homes. They have open hours on the weekend and Monday evening so that you can stop by and meet all the cats. For people looking to adopt, I highly recommend CARE!

Great fun for kids in the arcade. Food is very good, service was handled in a professional way and prices were adequate. This location is handicapped accessible, clean and family atmosphere.

I have learned a valuable lesson about this place. If you fall in love with an animal they have be certain that the animal is available by everyone that works there along with the people who say were they go. I have 2 children that have a broken heart thinking we were going to be new parents to this one cat that is on there web site as available. And once seen we were told she was available and the people there even put a hold for us. And now we are told the cat is going to a care taker there who has been "eyeing her up for a while" I just think things are run so messed up. I dont recamend falling in love with an animal until "the boss tells you different" :(
