Dr. Gaumont has taken care of my animals for over 25 years, maybe longer! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We needed a new vet when we moved to Acushnet. We own 2 dogs and a cat. They are so friendly and that is sometimes hard to find. They have been taking great care of our animals for 8 years. They are the best.

Love how they work with you. They are one of the cleanest veterans I've ever been to. The staff was very friendly. We will keep taking our 4 dogs there.

I called with an emergency regarding my seven year old cat. I did not go there with this cat since I got him over a year ago. They were incredible! They stayed open until I got there and were very helpful with what was wrong. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I know now where all my pets will go for maintenance shots and other treatment.

Where do I begin, firstly the vet was incredibly rude to me and my boyfriend when we were in the waiting room saying very loudly to the vet tech "get him out of here" because of covid (be an adult and politely ask him to leave - he would have understood). she did not tell us the side effects of a steroid shot which can do more harm than good to a cat and when I called later to ask side effects she got upset at me saying then wanted to unnecessary dug and test my cat further. every time you call this place they're not open or busy, you clearly aren't a priority here. this place is awful - dont waste your time going to people who clearly don't care. Assonet vet is much better and will talk to you and answer any questions.

Feeling Happy Our Prince is coming home today we miss him he spent two days in Acushnet Animal hospital they was very good to us i can not say enough about kindness & caring about my Prince they took good care of him & He had 25 Stones in his Bladder ouch poor kitty & Dr Gaumont is awesome she saved Prince Life. We are so thankful for Dr Gaumont & Kathy the tech they amazing people thank you again i gave them 5 stars i wish. I could give them a 10 stars I will tell you we found a new veterinarian We Love them thank you for all you did for my Prince we are so glad. He back home with us Our Prince ????❤

My Vets are the best!!

They are so accommodating with their scheduling. They remember my cat by name. Office is always clean and they are always so friendly and knowledgeable.

This hospital is not the one I visit for regular pet care, but when my hospital was unexpectedly closed due to Covid, Acushnet Animal Hospital gladly helped fill my dogs prescription. I thought it was going to be a hassle but to my surprise they took care of us immediately.

Dr Gaumont has been my vet for 20+ years. She has always taken the very best care of my pets! She and Her staff are always very responsive to my concerns and take the time to answer all of my questions.

Luv there oldschool approach.they don't try and tape you with unneeded tests.they actually diagnose the situations. Rather then make u pay for everytest.

I have been bringing my dogs to Acushnet Animal Hospital for over 17 years and have always felt they received excellent care. Everyone is pleasant, caring and responsive. Appointments are easy to get and there are no long waiting periods.

Dr. Gaumont was very nice ! My baby was very nervous , he was shaking even had an accident on his way in but she assured me my boy is very healthy and she answered all my questions , everyone in the office was very friendly. My pup and I are very pleased with the visit.

I've been trusting Acushnet Animal Hospital to take care of my pets for years. Straight forward and compassionate.

Before I heard some people explain the distraught details of their visit. I called them. Payments they do NOT do. So a dog or cat will die if they do not have their GOD--->$ right away. I said I will pay you in full but it will take a few months. Still NO. Sad. Other reviews I was not aware of are awful. Some good, yes. But more than half not good at all.

Our cats have been patients at Acushnet Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. In that time, we've always found them to be spotlessly clean, efficient, fair in business, caring and sympathetic to their non-human patients, and precise and patient with their human clients with explanations and advice. We trust them, and they remember details about our cats when we mention them by name on the phone, even though we only talk with them a couple times a year.

This vet was untruthful and unfair. Not recommended to anyone who loves their animals.
