I knew Dr. Sager from an animal hospital. I had two cockatiels that he saw. He was kind, intelligent, and really cared about what he was doing as a vet.

I have seen Doctor Sager for many of years- he has treated and done surgeries on my dogs, rats, birds and cats. He is always kind and super helpful. Usually really good about getting you an appt quickly if it is more urgent. My pets and I appreciate everything he's done and all he continues to do!

Must read!! This guy is great!! I had my bunny seen by a local vet who told me my bunny would need surgery to remove her eye and I had to pay for 2 prescription eye drop medications. The vet referred me to a few exotic vets around that could do the job. I called each place and kept hearing prices over $3-4k, which only included the procedure not any other extra expenses. So I ended up finding one last person, Sager. I decided giving him a call and it did take more than a day or 2 to reach them but you have to understand they are a small owned place. Just the secretary and him. When I was told the price i couldn't believe my ears, he could do it for less than $500. He wanted to check my bunny first and make sure. So i ended up only paying under $65(I'm almost positive it was $45) when everything was said and done. He check my bunny's eye pressure and everything else the other vet did and he told me my bunny was fine right now. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, her eye pressure level wasn't anything to be concerned about and she didn't need to be on any medication either. He offered to do the procedure if I felt it were necessary because someday in the future she may need it but he found it unnecessary at the moment. I was relieved! Can you believe that?!! I payed over $100 for my local vet visit and over $100 for 2 medicated eye drops(thanks to AAA benefits paying the majority cost of them) and almost found myself paying over $3k for an necessary procedure for a single eye removal. Needless to say, it's been about 4yrs and my bunny is still in great health. Her eyes have never been an issue for her. She seems like a very happy bunny. She may be partially blind due to the glaucoma but otherwise she still has both eyes and more visibility than if they had removed them. Thank you Dr. Sager!! You were informative and thorough! Unlike the countless places I called and began giving up hope! You restored my faith in humanity. Money wasn't your concern and you proved that to me.

Dr Sager is fantastic. He is kind, knowledgeable, and takes his time to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable. He doesn't put you or your pet through any unnecessary tests. We have been very happy here.

Dr Sager is amazing and he takes amazing care of my rabbit Cashew. I found out about him through a referral and I am so happy I did. I drive from Arlington to bring my bunny, and it is worth the ride. Dr Sager is the person you want to bring your pets to for care. It is hard to find someone that specializes in rabbits. I am so grateful that I found him.

It is often difficult to find a vet who can provide specialized care for pet rats. So we're very fortunate to live near Dr. Sager, who has owned several pet rats in his life. Not only that, but he is a friendly, knowledgable, and highly accessible doctor. He has been incredibly helpful to me as a first-time rat owner. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I had 3 rabbits and one at a time they had little infections that the Doc gave them the same meds for everything . . On my last rabbit he gave the same meds then it was not helping like the last to who are passed..Then i tell the doc it not working eye infection ok . O come back i give you new meds charges again still never worked . He passed from a eye infection

Dr. Sager is a wonderful, extremely knowledgable and kind vet. He has treated my hamster and rabbits since about 2009, and I trust him completely (which is saying a lot because I'm VERY protective of my pets!). It is extremely difficult to find good veterinary care for "exotics" such as rodents and rabbits, and I was so relieved and grateful to find Dr Sager, who has vast knowledge of these small animals. He is calm, kind and practical, and has the patience and skill to do thorough hands on exams, so he doesn't run unnecessary and stressful tests. He has always been right on in his diagnosis and treatment of my pets. Mrs. Sager and the other staff are great too- very friendly and helpful. Also, I must mention that Dr. Sager's prices are very reasonable- I am always pleasantly surprised when I pay my bill!

Dr. Sager is the kindest soul-- we had to put our sweet kitten down, and I will never forget his empathy, generosity and knowledge during the whole ordeal. He is amazing with my children and lets them be involved in vet visits. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice.

Dr Sager is very reasonable in his approach and treatment plans with animals. He listens to pet owners and is very knowledgeable. I like his direct approach and I never feel as though we are pursuing unnecessary treatment or testing. We get great care here and would HIGHLY recommend the practice!!!
