Have been going to Abington Animal Hospital for more than 30 years. Dr. Jack Curtain is a knoledgeable veterinarian, pleasant to talk with and he really loves animals and has an excellent crew of veterinarian's working with him. He charges fair prices for quality services.

Our animals have been seen here since I was young..my grandmother, my parents and me. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Abington Animal.. they've always treated my pets well and made sure they had the best of care.

We love it here, have taken our cat for the past 5 years! They are kind and knowledgeable. The wait can be long at times but with new COVID entrance and exit it went smoothly.

Been bringing my pets here for about 20 years. They are fairly priced and have good prices on medications & flea treatments. Only downfall is the wait is kind of long and it takes atleast a month to get an appointment usually. Also there is a newer doctor there who is kind of rude. I ended up switching my cat to Dr Curtin because he's a really good vet.

Hard to rate this small animal hospital. I really liked it in the past but now it's very busy with a lot of waiting. There has also been some employee turnaround that was Not the best situation. It has however been some time since my last visit.

Couldn't get an appointment for my dog who had been in an accident. Usually great place to get care for your pet!

I was very disappointed today when I came first thing in the morning (ya’ll open at 9:00am. I was there at 9:05am) and asked for help as my dog was suffering with kennel cough. The response I got was “we are booked out for 2 weeks”. I thought to myself, “so I should just let my dog suffer for two weeks waiting on you guys to take the 15 minutes to check her out, and prescribe anti-biotic and cough suppressant”? So I then asked, “I really need help, I’m willing to wait” and the response I got was “you should go to an animal hospital”. Listen, my dog didn’t get hit by a car, animal emergency rooms are “emergency” rooms, I needed a prescription, but I guess you guys are appointment only... very disappointing.

I was going to Dr Curtin for 15 years. I had a cat and dog that he treated like his own. When I had to put my dog down, he told us to call the office when we were ready and have them contact him. I did called the office and they said he was out. I told them Dr Curtin want to be called where ever he was to be notified. We left and when we got there Dr Curtin was there. After putting Cody to sleep, Dr Curtin clipped pieces of Cody' hair and gave each one of us a the clippings in a small bag. He also helped us set up the cremation. When my cat Brady passed away he was right there and again treated us and Brady like we were family. Thank you Jack. Your a god send.

Had to put my kitty down today.Dr. Lauren was wonderful. The staff was so kind.❤

Great place good people . This vet all around is great I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a vet.

Everyone here is so kind and gentle with my babies! Makes you feel a lot better about passing your pet off to someone since we are not allowed in the exam rooms due to covid. You know your pet is safe & being treated like their own. Not to mention they don't charge an arm and leg. Highly recommend everyone here ????

Brought my beloved pet in twice within a week for throwing up and being a little lethargic. Told both times she had enlarged heart after taking X-rays Over nite she became so bad I called first thing in morning. Was told because she had been there twice already you can have a referral. Called VCA in Weymouth brought her right in they did X-rays & blood work. Results showed her heart was a little enlarged but not the problem. Blood work came back that she was in complete kidney failure. Beyond hope. Extremely ill. Had to do the right thing. She was my best friend, my life my everything. I cry every day. I miss her soooo much. If they had done blood work up on her she would still be with me
