I had quite a few questions about some changes in Joy after the loss of 2 other dogs in our home the past year and Dr. Brockett took his time to explain to us what he thought was going on with her. I appreciated the time he took, and he put us at ease.

Madonna Vet has cared for our pets for over 20 years… that should say it all!!!! Even though we’ve moved from our home close to the clinic…. We travel the additional distance for our dogs needs.

My whole family takes our dogs here! They are so friendly and so good with our pets... we even know people who come from across the state to take their pets here. They are so awesome and were willing to answer my questions and offer advice when my pet had an issue and I was out of state. 10/10 do recommend!

We have been patients of the practice for quite some time. Dr. Knickman was our original vet, but since his retirement we have seen Dr. Brockett and Dr. Cangro. Our experience continues to be wonderful. We left for a brief period for a vet closer to home, but have come back because nothing compares to the service that Madonna provides. Staff is wonderful, caring and compassionate. Almost feels like visiting friends on our visits. Thank you for your continued excellent care of our pets.

Very caring, really show a love for the animals.

All three of our dogs have been treated here. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff and doctors are always attentive to our questions and have the best interest of the animal as their foremost concern. Unfortunately one of our dogs had to cross over this weekend and the level of compassion and attentiveness shown was second to none. From the receptionist streamlining our arrival process to Dr. Brockett showing the utmost care and staying with us while we grieved. If you are looking for the best vet clinic in the area, this is the place to take your animals!

Unfortunately, I have become aware that it doesn’t matter how many years and how many pets you take to your vet, they can and will turn you away if their emergency appointments have been taken. You need the vet the most when you have an emergency. I was there a week ago and an unscheduled emergency was taken and I waited over an hour for my appointment. Did I complain? No because I counted on the same attention if my pet was an emergency. My family who has taken 6 animals to Madonna Vet for years and when they had an emergency, they wouldn’t see them. As they were trying to call another vet, their dear little dog passed away in their arms. Perhaps the Madonna Vet could not have saved this baby, but turning away this family in their time of need was morally wrong. Madonna Vet I am so disappointed in the handling of this emergency. Must give it a lot of thought as to whether to continue with this practice. The fact that this loved Yorkie died was difficult enough but knowing that there was no compassion being shown for my family hurts just as much. I feel betrayed.

Dr. Knickman, our personal veterinarian, is there for the animal and family. His way with animals is not just a skill but a gift. He is working with animals on their level and takes extreme measures to ensure that the animals trust him. The staff is beyond a doubt the most caring and loving, all diverse in handling pets in a most kind and humane way. When it comes to the passing of a beloved pet, these folks go above and beyond in easing the suffering we felt. We know our family pets are in great hands.

It couldn't have been better, I called in the morning because Abby was having a problem and you made room on the appointment book to see her and that was great thanks.

These folks have been wonderful to my Girlfriend's dog, and even saved his life as a puppy. He has been a patient there for the last 10 (human) years and has been well cared for.

We've been going here since it opened. Loved Dr. Knickman who recently retired. Dr. Brockett took over and he is just as wonderful. As long as we have pets, they'll be our Vet.

Love this place was a little pricey. We acquired a dog an a few months later he had a bunch of seizures . he was over 10 years old an they were going to charges around 300 dollars for a euthanasia. I had to go to the emergency vet in belair
