I've taken my dogs there for the last 13 years. Great, great and great. Never had a problem. Safe and convenient. Well worth the money.

Can’t say enough great things about this place! The staff is warm, welcoming and responsive. They know and always remember my pup. Not to mention, he LOVES it there! One of his favorite places on earth. He comes back happy and exhausted. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My 2yo rescue dog loves going to Dogma. She goes 1-2x a week for daycare, and I’ve boarded her there for weekend trips. She can get a bit overwhelmed by other dogs sometimes, and the Dogma staff are great at bringing her in for quiet time and belly rubs in the office when she needs a break. Every staff member knows her by name, and the business is extremely responsive. They also check the dogs thoroughly and have alerted me if they see anything odd (like a recent rash on her belly that I hadn’t even noticed).

We had one visit so far with our 4-month old and I think this is by far the best option for him. We’ve tried a few daycares in the city, many of which just have the dogs sitting around in a small room with little supervision and engagement. We love that dogma has an outdoor space, plenty of enrichment activities, and yard managers who are actively watching and playing with the pups. Our pup is also crate trained so having a private space for him to nap and decompress is important, so we’re glad that they have structured nap times in crates. For the first time, our puppy came home happy and tired. We’ll definitely be sending him back soon!

Great doggie daycare with smooth morning and evening logistics. Prompt office admin scrubs like billing and email responses. However, it feels like the sheer volume of clients sometimes makes it difficult to offer a personal experience, like occasional proof of life pics during overnight boarding.

We got our puppy during the pandemic and I feel like dog-ma is the reason he is so good around other puppies. He loves going here and he is absolutely exhausted once we bring him home because he gets to run and play to his hearts content here.

My pup Bella Donna LOVES Dog-ma! Every time we pull up and she sees the blue fence she can hardly contain her excitement! She literally pulls me through the gates and doesn't even look back to say goodbye to me as she runs to the pack. She is a doodle so her favorite thing is the pools! On a hot day that is where the staff finds her. The staff is incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this facility for daycare and boarding. I've utilized both services and had a positive experience with both services. Don't think about it any longer...just sign your dog up!

Our dachshund Koby stayed with the DogMa team for six days. We were nervous to enroll him because he can be aggressive toward larger dogs and full of energy. We received periodic reports of how well Koby was interacting with other dogs and how he was well-behaved. When he returned home, he was a completely different pup for the better – much friendlier to our neighborhood dogs. He will definitely return to DogMa soon, and we would recommend DogMa to anyone without hesitation.

I never feel worried when leaving our pup with them. Our dog LOVES it there and always comes back sleepy and happy. There is plenty of space for the dogs to run around and they are very attentive to the dog’s needs.

My elderly dog Remy has been boarding at Dogma since we moved to DC in 2018. During his most recent visit, I had to board him when he was not well because I had to leave town to help a relative, who had fallen and broken her hip. The staff at Dogma (Jametia, Tammy, et al - wish I knew everyone's name!) sent me updates and gave him lots of love and special attention during his stay. They went above and beyond to make him comfortable. It was such a hard time to leave him, and Dogma made it as easy as possible for both of us. Remy loves it there, too. (As soon as we turn the corner on our way there, and he can tell where we are, he always pulls on his leash to get to Dogma as soon as possible.) He and I are both so grateful for Dogma, which has my highest endorsement.

Meh prices, and they clipped our boys paw with a grinder and didn't tell us about it. We only found out because he was acting scared and found the scrape on his paw. Mad lame, Dog-Ma.

They're the best! The staff is so friendly and clearly love what they do. They're super responsive every time I've reached out for some reason or another and my dog is always exhausted and happy after a long day at Dog-Ma.

My dog loves going to Dog-Ma. He gets crazy excited as we get close and he comes home worn out from all the playing.

We are so thrilled to have found Dogma. Our dog has anxiety and we'd tried her at a couple other facilities, but it was a no go. Beth and team were great with giving her some time to get comfortable. The outdoor open space gave her room to meet the other dogs on her terms and they've made sure all the pups that come there are friendly and well mannered which makes all the difference. She played all day long and came home a happy and tired puppy (very little tires her out, so this was incredible). So excited to have this weekly outlet for her.

This is a fantastic doggy daycare with such an awesome space. My dog can be a bit nervous and scared of new people and pups but she quickly learned to love to Dogma. The staff are all wonderful and attentive. We tried a couple doggy daycare places in the area and I can not recommend Dogma enough.

DogMa is amazing. They have been watching our girl since she was a 10 week old puppy. She always comes home healthy, happy, and tired :-). The staff is wonderful. They love their pack and are experts at caring for dogs. The peace of mind we get from knowing our girl is at DogMa when we are out of town is invaluable. Truly only have great things to say about DogMa and everyone who works there!

We adopted our pup, Bradley, from Rural Dog Rescue. Before we got him, he was fostered by one of the good folks at Dog-Ma and he loves going back to see his friends. He's always greeted happily by the staff, spends the day either running in the yard with his dog friends or relaxing inside with his people friends. He always comes home happy and tired (in a good way!). Dog-Ma is apparently the only District doggy daycare with an outdoor area where our dog can enjoy nice weather while we're at work.

Our 5-month puppy LOVES Dog-Ma. He anticipates the days we'll take him and races to the car (he normally hates the car!). We can barely keep him back as he runs through the gates to Dog-Ma! Before taking him, we often read about the gravel outdoors bothering dogs' paws and were worried, but it hasn't been a problem at all. Dog-Ma has helped our puppy socialize and learn to play well with other dogs. Highly recommend!

The folks at Dog-Ma are amazing and very attentive to my pup’s needs. Their hours are great and accommodate odd work schedules. They are very responsive via email and their loyalty program helps keep the prices very fair. Their boarding team have always taken great care of our pup.
