Today Cali had her 1st visit. We were referred by Cali's playmate Noodles and her mom. They were attentive and the Dr. came outside to address our confirms about Cali. We will definitely be going back.

We love our Vet! He and his team have taken great care of our cats and dogs over the years and we really appreciate them.

I love everything about this place. They are always so happy to see my dog: who is super busy. They greet my dog by her name & always make sure my needs are met. I am so sad the groomer left. This is the only place that can groom my dog. Please get a new groomer.

Can't go inside because of Covid. Staff very nice. Even my feral rescue Cali gave them "Hell".

Took my Schnauzer here 3 years ago and it is now my primary car for my pup. The staff care about your animals and the doctor is super nice. We even take our guinea pigs here now.

Don't bring your fur babies here, I feel as I've placed hundreds of dollars in a pile and lit it on fire, for absolutely no return. There's a better veterinarian 10 minutes down the road in Watkins Park.

I love this vets office. The staff is always so friendly. Even during Covid, the level of service is top notch.

It took awhile but once they performed the surgery on my granddog I was very pleased

Love Dr. Mesfin and his staff. My puppy Snickers loves going there. Yes my dog is the dog who likes the vet! They always answer any questions I have and understand I’m protective of my baby. They always ask me if I have enough meds for him and if he needs updated shots. He just loves going because everyone there pets him and tells him how cute he is! Also, for the Covid stuff, they are having you call the office and they bring the dog inside for the visit then pay outside. Snickers freaked out a bit when he realized I wasn’t going with him but he was just fine when he came back to me.

This was my dog's 1st visit and I really like the services i received and dog did appear disturbed ir afraid. Oh not to mention prompt and thorough!! Teresa was awesome with my dog as well.

I am very disappointed with my recent service at the Upper Marlboro Veterinarian Hospital. I took my dog in for a grooming and when I went to pick her up I was given the wrong dog. Instead of them taking every measure possible they tried to convince me I had the right dog. My family was traumatized by this ordeal. After several hours the other person brought my dog back to the clinic. I felt that the grooming service should be refunded due to this error. I was refused a full refund despite this horrible mix up. As a result they will lose my business from here on out. There is a proper way for matters to be handled when a terrible mistake like this is made by a company to ensure good will and continued patronage. This vet has failed. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I have multiple pets; really just acquired them and truly desired to make sure everyone is in proper care. I made appointments on various days and was totally turned off due the attitudes I experienced on my first visit. I had questions that were answered in a condescending tone though I explain being a novice. I was contemplating canceling the rest of the appointments and going elsewhere but I decided to keep the next appointment. I'm glad I did because the care and willingness to provide proper guidance that I received from Jessica was everything. Her energy was very welcoming and non-judgmental. She listened with intent and provided information that allowed my anxiety to dissipate. She was willing to advocate for me with the doctor to accomplish a schedule and care that was condusive to my goals. I'm glad I showed up for the next appointment and plan to continue treatment with the rest of my guys.

This is by far one of the best Vets and staff I have ever experienced. I have been taking my dog jazzy to Dr. Mesfin and his staff for years and they have always treated me and Jazzy with the utmost respect, compassion, professionalism, and provided high-quality medical care. I can also see that this practice actually cares about pets, and not simply money. I always get honest, transparent advice about costs and even ways to avoid them, which displays a lot of sincerity and honesty. I know that I am only paying for what Jazzy truly needs and that her well-being is what matters most. I would highly recommend them for all pets!

I can't tell you how FANTASTIC this Doc is & his staff are. Our family & fur baby LOVES them. 100% top paws! We went in for an emergency & had THE BEST care with this team. They even called the next day to check on our fur baby. Today we went back for our follow up & nose to tail check for Max - They were 100% up front with treatment planning, options, diet, restrictions, medications, everything & 100% up front with the fees involved for each part of the treatment planning. We LOVE THEM ! 5 PAWS on top of 5 stars.
